The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Italian food

Tuvimos una experiencia gastronómica increíble en Mosaic Restaurant, y Elitsa lo hizo inolvidable! Su servicio fue impecable, amable, atento y genuinamente cálido. La comida era absolutamente increíble, superando todas las expectativas para un restaurante italiano. Cada plato era fresco, sabroso y bellamente presentado. Las recomendaciones de Elitsa fueron puntuales, y su profesionalismo se sumó al encanto de la noche. ¡No podemos esperar para volver!

Comida previa al cine. Llegué a tiempo para nuestra reserva a las 5 pm y el restaurante estaba muy frío, aunque había un fuego de gas en. El servicio era puntual en términos de velocidad, etc . . Sin embargo, la comida era diferente -los hongos de ajo claramente se habían calentado-, algunos estaban calientes y otros casi fríos. La "salsa" era horrible - nadar en grasa y ajo. La lasaña estaba enormemente sobrecocida hasta el punto de quemarse y el calzone de mi compañero era extremadamente "resistente" No hay pimienta recién molida disponible, lo que fue una gran decepción - nos preguntamos este problema y nos dijeron que después del Covid y en el consejo H y S, esto no se podía ofrecer. Eso sonó extraño, ya que no hemos tenido esta experiencia en otros lugares. En general, ambiente acogedor, pero las ofertas de comida no nos están 'sorprendiendo' para volver.

We visited for lunch and decided to order on the app, but it was at odds with what was on the physical menu and no pasta dishes showing, which is what we specifically came for, so we ended up ordering at the till instead. Unfortunately, there was only ravioli available from the pasta section so I had that which was delicious. We didn’t try any cakes as there were so many peanut ones which was disappointing as I’m severely allergic. I wasn’t a huge fan of the strawberry milkshake I had but the service was quicker than when we came last time and I do like the setting of the café.

I Stay at this hotel all the time and have used the Marco Pierre white restaurant a lot. Have held off writing a review up to now but I think it’s time to come clean. Sadly, the quality of the way the food is cooked is not what you expect a restaurant of such an esteemed restaurant patron to be. I generally have the 12oz filet steak, or pasta. I must have had a steak here 10 times over the past couple of years and I’d say that it has only ever been cooked correctly as requested once, it’s either over cooked, undercooked, but never how I’ve asked for it. It even turned up once completely sliced which I sent back. If you are staying at this hotel, I wouldn’t recommend the food here, a pizza maybe but that’s difficult to mess up. There are better places to eat in the high street and have a better experience. Now that you also have to pay car parking it turns out to be a very expensive dinner experience trust me.

This is our favourite local restaurant. We eat here a lot usually on a Sunday when there is a very reasonably priced set lunch menu. The food is always good as in the service and the puddings are so good.

Although busy, we got shown to a table very quickly. There was a mouth-watering display of cakes available, however the scones we opted for were by far the best we’ve tasted in a long time. I’d a superb pot of tea, and thanks to the skill of the dedicated barista, my husband enjoyed a fabulous flat white. A row of dedicated tip bowls ensured that our lovely server, Susan, was acknowledged for offering us the wonderful option of having our scones toasted; delicious! A nice old-fashioned end to our Largs visit.

Lovely place & cocktails. Food average. Salad not very exciting, a lot of yellow Iceberg lettuce . My husband had items missing from his meal that should have been included, as per the menu specification. Will try again, though. Staff were attentive.

I ordered a collection pizza on arrival. The person managed to give me the wrong change along with messing up my pizza. The agent didn't speak much English and had very little training as there was no acknowledgement of the mistakes made. The food is nice but take extra precaution when handling cash and collecting your pizza! always check otherwise you will be surprised when you get home.

Can't comment on the food, I don't eat in coffee shops, but the staff here are great.

Poor service, took 30 minutes to take drinks order, and another 15 minutes to order food. The food order was wrong which we sent back and they tried to charge for it even though we had sent it back. Affrogato and coffee delivered in glass cups balanced on too small a saucer and both tipped over spilling most of contents over the table. Tired to charge for these too. Then they added a £25 tip. Busier because Cibo was closed for refurb and they couldn’t cope with the number of people. Very disappointing especially as it was a big celebration. Won’t be going back

Food consistently very good standard. Unfortunately I've noticed every time time I've been in the shop staff act like they really don't want to be there not interested in the slightest bit of customer service. Rude and very unwelcoming 😕

Not surprised this restaurant has closed. They describe their cuisine as fine dining but they obviously do not understand what fine dining is. Slow service, dreadful pizza with undercooked dough (how come they can't produce a good pizza in an Italian restaurant?), tough chicken, lukewarm vegetables. Poor choice for vegetarians.

We visited for dinner. The new souvlaki skewers changed my perspective on grilled meat. Service felt casual, prices were fair. Kids enjoyed pizza too.

Awful attitude from the manager and dark haired lady completely ignored us which left us waiting between courses until I got up and asked. Food isn’t great and not really any choice on drinks.

I can see why the reviews are so mixed, we ordered a takeaway of 2 pizzas and olives with breads and one pizza was ok the other not so great, overall you could probably get a better pizza in Asda, the olives and breads were good but would expect much better with the pizza.
