Best pie in Darwen, better than any other slags efforts. The delivery driver could’ve made an effort and wore a tuxedo though.

Stopped ordering from here a couple of years ago after some disappointing pizzas. Decided to give it a shot again tonight. Paid for extra cheese only to have to add our own at home because it barely covered the base of the pizza. Definitely won’t be ordering from here again.

I always order my pizza on Saturday. The service is great. Food gets delivered on time (and even earlier). Staff is always nice and helpful. Not to mention that the pizza is delicious, real Neapolitan style.

Always 10/10. We’ve been getting Eddies for a couple of years now and it’s always perfect. They always go above to make sure they get it right. My delivery was predicted to 60 minutes and it arrived within 20 minutes

Wonderful food! Genuinely one of the best, of not the best, takeaways I've had in Darwen. Pizza was excellent! Generous size, dough was so tasty and light, lots of toppings and it was cooked perfectly for me. Fries, tenders and halloumi were also of really high quality. Worth every penny and we're 100% ordering again.

Very bland pizza and tasteless. Hardly any topping on the pizza. £3 for a handful of chips too very expensive. Used to be really good in the old shop wont be returning

These guys know how to do a great pizza . Full of flavour and super tasty . Love it when we play pool at spitfire it means a great set of lads great beer and amazing pizzas .

Lovely pizza but got our order wrong a few times

Could not operate the website to order online. Looked like just a handful of choices saying sauce on each one????? Rang up to order instead and was told no we don’t take phone orders. No offer to help so I just said will go elsewhere! Good old Godfather. Pizzas were here in 30 mins and just what we wanted! Sorry Eddies, you won’t be having our custom! Not that you were bothered anyway

Absolutely delicious, great value and easily the best pizza in Lancashire! I stopped going to Eddie's after trying it a couple of times when it moved to the new premises. It's now been taken over again and it really is amazing. The pizza and sides Menu is really varied, you can add your own toppings from a huge list of ingredients, and the meal boxes are an excellent addition to the menu

Amazing pizza! The dough is the best I’ve tasted yet. I’m vegan, and Eddies did not disappoint! Pizza made to my requirements, and absolutely delicious. Great service too! Actually had Eddies Pizza before at the Darwen Live Festival, it got me hooked! I’ve had a garlic and tomato pizza, and mushroom and truffle, also with a tasty garlic bread. I will only order from Eddies Pizza now.

Eddie’s pizzas are the best pizzas you can get outside of Italy. You can have a drink and sit at the table in the Spitfire bar while your pizza is being cooked. They cater for vegan diets too.

I regularly visit for takeaway pizza. The food is always fresh and tasty. The staff are always friendly and happy to help. Great food and great staff. I'd highly recommend.

Food is tasty, love wood fired pizzas but close to 90 minute wait for one pizza, one wrap and a couple of side is unacceptable. I feel sorry for both the chef and the girls on the bar as it looks like they're seriously understaffed. If its going to take this long thet need to let the customer know I could have gone to any one of the other Darwen takeaways and been home in half the time.

Ordered at 20.10 on the website and after 3 phone calls food arrived cold and limp at 22.40. Couldn't have what we order as they told me that have no control over their own website, changed the order on the first phone call as we hadn't had order confirmed. Phoned 2 more times chasing order for it to be delivered 2 and a half hours after ordering to be cold and not what was expected. Safe to say we won't be ordering again which is a shame as the food used to be good, but with Darwen having so many good take aways you can't afford to slip, such a shame

The pizza used to be really good here but I think this has changed hands, picked up some of my pizza and all the cheese and topping had fallen off, very limited menu on what pizza you can have not a good selection at all

Went during the week, paid for food and over an hour later the food was ready, minus two lots of fries, spoke to the females who were behind the Spitfire bar and they said it’s nothing to do Eddys despite me ordering and paying them and taking my order. No plates, knifes and forks despite us sitting at a table in there, told to eat the food with our hands by Darren the ‘ Chef’, the toilets are Gender Neutral and the main door was open and you could see male customers weeing in the sink as you was sat at the table, the Spitfire girls only collected our used glasses leaving the remains of our food on the table despite me putting them both together at the end of the table,stay away , stay well away folks.

Cold when it arrived,well over half hour late. Called to asked why it was so late and they pretended they couldn't hear me saying the music was too loud in their bar area. Called from another phone pretending I wanted to place an order guess what they could hear me now. 🙄 They accepted my complaint and said they would speak to the manager, guess again!! No reply back. Terrible customer service, such a shame as the pizzas are lovely when hot.

Owner is racist and swore at me when I stuttered in my order. Food was unappetising and after a slice I found bugs infested inside the food. Further inspection showed that the van was covered in them. I was so disgusted. The owner still expected full payment and I had diarrhoea for days after, it was so bad I was hospitalised and traumatised. I’ve never experienced such awful service in my life. DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY HERE

HAIR ON MY PIZZA! extremely disappointed, I found several pieces of hair on and in my pizza! Will definitely not be ordering from here again.

Thee worst delivery times ever. Told 25 mins! 90 mins later no food. 1 hour and 40 mins driver turned up. Sent food back with no payment because of horrendous delivery times. Don't order take away it never arrives😕😕 Why do they take orders they can't fulfil? The pizzas are lovely but never order a takeaway because you will be waiting hours for it. I stopped going here about 12 months ago because the food went down hill. However I went back last week and was pleasantly surprised, I returned again today and it was even better. The pizza was fresh, piping hot, with exactly the right amount of topping . Do you self a favour and get ordering, especially when Ell the pizza chef is on... Excellent!!!

Used to be brilliant when Marco was in charge - went downhill rapidly when it moved into the Sports bar. Improved earlier this year but last night ordered a pizza and garlic bread; was told that it would be between 15 & 20 mins. No problem - called in to collect 20 mins after ordering and the girl behind the counter said - as she grabbed my ticket off the rack - "oh...he's just about to start making it, we've been very busy". Couple of points - don't give a time if you cannot stick to it - secondly, ring me and tell me you're struggling and give me an option of calling in a little later. The Sports Bar was rammed and it was clearly far more important to serve people inside than people who rang to collect. Very sadly, never been the same since Marco left and will not be getting any of my custom again....PS - the girl behind wasn't bothered one bit when I said please cancel my order. No apology whatsoever.

Thought I’d treat my son to something “extra special” well we were both disappointed. Pizza awful, garlic bread average, salt n pepper chicken wings inedible as they were rock hard. Such a shame as if I was sat in I’d demand a refund. Hard to do when your at home. Also my bins are full of eddies food now.

THE best pizza we’ve ever had from a take away! Try it, you won’t be disappointed. We had the BBQ chicken and charred sweet corn and the pepperoni with extra chorizo. The dough is gorgeous and you can tell the toppings are quality and fresh. Amazing - we will be back.

It’s gone so downhill, you’re paying top prices for poor products. Used to be great, not anymore.

We waited over 2 hours for this to be delivered. We called 3 times to check where it was and were promised a free garlic bread because of our wait. Not only did this not arrive, the pizzas that did were covered in loose, uncooked flour, undercooked and had scraped, burnt charcoal stuck to the bases, one even had a gaping hole in the centre where it had clearly stuck to the base of the oven. The king prawn pizza with rocket and basil was also clearly lacking anything in the way of either rocket or basil. I appreciate they had a busy night - they said when we ordered it would be an hour, but it was more than double that time and the quality was shocking given it cost £35! Really disappointed - the restaurant needs to stop taking orders if it can’t cope with the demand, you’ve lost a customer tonight.

Eddies is a great pizza place, they make your pizza by hand in front of you then its chucked in the big pizza oven they have. Yes you'll pay a little more for a pizza but its a world better that the typical takeaway pizza most others sell in town.

Poor access to website for ordering, it was quite haphazard and as a multiple choice system, an epic fail. Tried to speak to them via telephone to ensure order was correct but phone switched off! This didnt give me any confidence at all. Went to collect and 25 mins later than originally advised the pizzas were ready. I strongly suspect this was our first and last visit 🤔

I thought quality pizza places had evolved from having cubes of so called 'chicken' or 'ham' to using actual strips of real meat not this preformed plastic tasting rubbish; for £12 for a takeaway pizza to have this god knows what on is totally unacceptable.

Pizza not what I expected unfortunately, below average, not even close to the average pizza available in Darwen.

Get it home fast or eat inside to save disappointment of cold pizza.

Great value, delicious pizza served quickly and with a smile. Generous toppings. Only gripe is that the crust was beautifully crusty, whereas the base was so soggy and soft, it was impossible to eat a slice without folding it over on itself without a knife and fork, which is the only reason I gave 4/5 score.

I have tried Eddies on a few occasions and I was not disappointed with any of my orders. Eddies is a traditional Italian menu with the pizza bases very thin as to the pizzas places in the own have thick based americium themed pizzas.. great food you won't be disappointed.

Having recently been diagnosed as coeliac I was *really* struggling to find a single takeaway or restaurant in Darwen that does gluten free - Godfathers offers a 'gluten free' base but cooks it in the same ovens, same pans as regular so its pretty pointless (ad dangerous) for a coeliac.

Really enjoyed the pizza from here. The fact it is made in a wood fired oven really makes the difference, it is a good change from most other basic take away pizza and tastes much better! Will be coming more often. 😋🍕

We tried a margherita pizza from here one quiet Saturday lunchtime. Cannot fault the service here (unlike Papas and Amalfi!) but the basic ingredients of a margherita should be: tasty base (wasn't bad), a tasty tomato sauce (I thought it was), good quality mozzarella and fresh basil. That's pretty much it. You could tell it was missing the fresh sweetness of the basil which, for a wood-fired pizza, is such a shame. And yes, my mother-in-law is Neapolitan so I've tried some good ones! Please get some fresh basil and we will be back! Grazie.

Excellent thin-based sourdough pizzas with some really interesting flavours. Made fresh and cooked to order in the wood fired pizza oven whilst you watch and wait. Only takes about 10-15 mins to cook. Very tasty. Maybe a tiny bit more expensive than average pizza but so worth it.

Agree with the others tasty pizzas but very expensive 3 x 14" pizzas £35 . you would pay this in a restaurant minus the drinks.

Excellent pizzas from the eddies/godfather crew. Made fresh in front of your eyes and cooked in a woodfired pizza over to give that authentic italian taste to it.

Ordered a few different pizzas for me and the family. They were cooked on site in their wood fired oven and were absolutely delicious. Also, it is a bonus that it is attached to one of the best venues!

Frequent visitor at Eddies. Absolutely love the place. We get a nice and simple Margherita when we go and it's always delicious. Marco is the man, and is passionate about his Pizza.

Amazing what can i say?! Fresh produce, we have had two take aways and each time everything was top notch. You have to try the sides of garlic and bolonase balls. Friendly staff and good good hygiene...will be returning!

We spotted Eddies on our way back to our hotel in a taxi and spontaneously decided to jump out and grab a pizza.....and WOW! It was delicious!!!! Can't wait to visit again!!

The food is fantastic and the guy who works there is great. The food is fresh and cooked right in front of you. Can't fault it at all. Always recommend
