The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Italian food

We had the Italian sausage sharing pizza, it was enough for the 2 of us, but the pizza lacked flavour. We added salt, pepper & asked for basil & finally garlic which was brought but sadly not the best. Highlight: The pistachio cannoli are very good! Staff are helpful.

Después de 12 días en el hospital ansiaba una buena cocina casera, así que la pasta de ragu era perfecta, carnosa y fácil de digerir. Mi esposa tomó la pizza de anchoa, que ella pensó que era la mejor pizza que ha tomado en más de 60 años. El servicio era eficiente, y una mesa fuera en el sol era perfecto

Well I visited this restaurant for the first time with my Italian partner and tell you what it was a HIT! My partner is from Sicily and very hard to please, to say the least doesn't like any Italian restaurant soo much in London. This Place made her happy. She says 'real Italian is this'! Fantastic service, the waiter was amazing, food nicely presented and great aura about the place. There is a good variety of dishes from Italy and their specials on the board were appealing. In fact I will have to visit again as she really want to eat everything ;) Also it was good on my pocket.

As someone with Italian heritage, I’m always on the lookout for food that truly captures the flavours of my Nonna - and “Little Italy” in Sunbury did exactly that. I had the Spaghetti al Nero di Seppia, and it was absolutely outstanding. The prawns were packed with flavour and the sauce was rich and delicious— not to mention the rarity it is to find black pasta on an English menu ! It was easily on par with anything I’ve eaten in Italy. I also had a couple of Peronis, served perfectly cold, which made the whole experience even better. There is a clear sense of pride both for Italy and for the restaurant and the product/ service provided from the staff within, an absolute pleasure all round. Little Italy delivers an authentic taste of Italy right here in Sunbury. Highly recommended for anyone who loves proper Italian food done right.

Looking for somewhere a bit nicer outside of Mablethorpe, we took the 20 minute country drive out here for dinner with some friends, a mixed group of adults and children. On arrival the entrance looked tiny, but it’s a tardis. In side it feels and smells stylish and upmarket. The food is good and sensibly priced, and the staff were friendly. Would go back again, and if I lived local this would be a place I’d visit regularly.

Tuvimos una cena encantadora un domingo por la noche. El restaurante tiene un ambiente relajado encantador y sirve comida italiana genuina. Nuestra comida era deliciosa. El personal es muy amable y atento. Muy recomendable.

Booked on day of visit waited 10 mins to order drinks then asked for a couple of mins extra to order food waited over 30 mns to place food order before we have got up and went to pay for drinking and as asked if we where paying for food we said we had bn unable to order food the male got agresive towards us and states people around here r rude which is unacceptable we then went to local tapas bar who could not be more helpful and service withing 10 mins food with in 20 mins we where also told not to come back for complaining that another table seated well after us was severed drinks and food order taken while we waited to pay for drinks another table had complained about poor service after we came from tapas bar we bumped into the table that had bn severed before us after arriving after us to find they didn't get some for there food and where not happy never will we ever go again to be met with aggression from staff please avoid they r so rude trying to intimidate a female for not being ready to order when they wanted and all but telling u to pzzz off never will we ever step foot in this place again

Amazing food. According to the kids “best carbonara ever”. We loved the pizza too xx

Mixed experience. Service SLOW. Even drinks order took 15 mins despite there being only one other table occupied! Starters great. All lovely beautifully presented and great taste. Mains? Three different mains appeared to have exactly the same ssuce despite the descriptions being very different! The one pasta dish was described as ‘plain’. Disappointing as the restaurant had good reviews. We as a group had a pleasant evening but in future will meet on a Saturday evening with a better choice of restaurants.

What a beautiful little place that we found by accident, but I am glad we did. The decor was so warm and inviting, the staff are lovely (I think he was the owner) and the menu was incredible. Lovely cocktails and they couldn’t have done enough for us.

Great spot for a night out with friends and family bit lonely when your solo great for your b-day as well and very hygienic

Muy decepcionado con la comida. Muy caro por la calidad recibida. Un capuchino se servía en una taza diminuta, así que para cuando te quitaste la espuma tenías poco más de un centímetro de café. Definitivamente no recomendaría este lugar.

We had a lovely takeaway of pizza and pasta for a large group of family and friends when we stayed in the local area for the weekend. The food was delicious. The restaurant was very helpful and we pre ordered in advance and arranged delivery times. They were also able to cope with special diets.
