Faultless - we’ve been dining here for the past 5 years and have never had reason to complain or be disappointed. The food is consistently amazing and delicious. The stuffed mushrooms are out of this world delicious and the pizzas are one better than the next. Cesar and his brother make a great team and it’s a recipe that works!

Just thinking about the pizza makes me happy. got two pizzas to take away and as expected they were both Incredibly good. Not cheap but worth every penny.

I love this place. Pre COVID it was a great place to eat. Food excellent, house wine lovely, staff friendly. And great value. Tonight I had them deliver. Can’t fault them at all. Pizza hot and tasty. Highly recommend this place.

We went as recommended by someone and were looking for that difference, but were disappointed. Nothing special, just the usual fayre. Service was slow and minimal interaction for a small restaurant.

Fantastic stuffed mushrooms, authentic pizza and Sicilian wines. Cannoli and pistachio gelato. All served up by the charismatic Cesare, what’s not to like? Hard to imagine better value.

Just has family meal here. Calamari and Pizza lovely. The best ingredients cooked to perfection. Wine and Beer fab too.

I have pizza from Sicilian Art very regularly, at least once per week either in the restaurant or to take away. It simply is delicious. I would suggest Calzone Sicilian Art, calzone fumo, bufala or Parma in particular. Amongst the starters, Arancini are particularly nice.

I am a regular to this amazing establishment since they open and so glad that they reopened even if it is takeaway only.We still can enjoy the best italian food in this difficult time .Love

Two stars because, in spite of liking their pizzas, I have no time for the curt service on offer at Sicilian Art. The waiter is grumpy at best, rude most of the times and life's too short. Lucky for me, the world is full of great pizzas, served by charming waiters.

My wife and I visited last Friday, 29th November. We shared the Arancini Siciliana and the stuffed mushrooms for starters. Both dishes were delicious. Good size portions and full of flavour. For mains I had the disco volante pizza and my wife had the salsiccia e friarielli pizza. Unfortunately she hadn’t noticed that it had Gorgonzola on it so we swapped as she doesn’t like blue cheese and I love it. I still managed to have a good bite out of the one I’d ordered though so can comment on both. They were lovely! We also had a bottle of the primitivo wine at £27 a bottle. This is our usual tipple when we visit this place and it is a beautiful wine. We found this place last year as we live nearby and we are fairly regular customers so I thought it about time I got round to reviewing it. I’ve told all my mates about it and highly recommend it to anyone who loves good pizza, good wine and a lovely cosy ambience. Great value for the quality of food

Just found this wonderful little place by accident and so happy we did! Probably one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had, all alongside a friendly people and a warm environment! Will be back!

It never disappoints. A cozy atmosphere, you feel as though you’re in Sicily when you walk through the front door. The owner also cooks and is personable and welcoming. The starters are sublime! There is a great choice of Italian Pizzas, wine and desserts. Both of my adult children love it here.

I had a great time last night with my familly. Fantastic service, food, great wine, but the most amazing was the way that our waiter made us feel part of the family. Trully recomended!

I had high hopes for this place, being Italian and having grown up in Sicily I was really looking forward to a good authentic pizza. Unfortunately it was not to be.

The food is EXCELLENT!!! But the service very Bad, Poor, etc... The man who served us very rude I will not be returning anymore..

Last night I tasted the most incredible Sicilian Food. The owner and his family who are Sicilian, insist of having only the best Sicilian ingredients and wines. Even the Olive Oil is from their families own olive grove back home. Its just a 24 cover restaurant and is decorated with Sicilian pottery, art and food. If you love Pizza, homemade lasagne, ragu arancini and more, then you will fall in love with this gem which is on the way from Beckenham to Penge. Cant wait to go back with my children who are Pizza afficionadas.

Tired of the ubiquitous Neapolitan style pizzas, we decided to give this restaurant a try. Sicilian Art offers Sicilian-style pizzas, and fluffy, moreish arancinis. The pizzas were markedly better than the ones offered by most pizzerias in London. The service at Sicilian Art is a bit curt but the tasty food warrants a second visit.

Disappointing! We visited Sicilian art while ago and enjoyed it very much. However, our second visit somewhat disappointing. Our starters were lovely, Sicilian salad and arancini. We did not like the pizza at all. Something was wrong with pizza and the sauce. We are not sure, we would visit again to eat pizza at Sicilian Art.

Pizza was delicious but they are not keen to adapt to different dietary requirements. Also, on my second visit I found out they are not Italian at all. How interesting as they insist on speaking basic Italian to you but actually their mother’s tongue is something else.

Well, what can I say ! Food and speed of service was outstanding and one of the best pizzas I have ever had... but the rude miserable waiter ruined my birthday! He looked as if we were there to annoy him, short tempered, rude arrogant, and when I tried to speak Italian to him he pretended he could not understand a word , yet every Italian before even in Italy could understand me , all except him! Only started to smile when the bill came hoping I guess for a tip!! Shame as I would have loved to go back!

First visit to this establishment. Was recommended by a friend. The pizzas were one of the best we had. House red wine was delicious. Will definitely be going back again

Not bad food, unfortunately Customer service left alot to be desired. I don't expect to be waited on hand and foot but I also don't expect to be made to feel uncomfortable the entire time we are there, so we won't be returning. There are far more welcoming places for families in the area, I suggest to try those first.

Beckenham people should support this restaurant - just hop on a bus from Beckenham. Generous antipasti and great pizzas and calzone. Very drinkable and reasonably priced red and white wines. Friendly service.

This place was recommended by our neighbour's parents and we are delighted to have discovered. I honestly think that it's the best Italian restaurant in London.

This is now my favourite Italian restaurant and I would highly recommend you try it. Good service, delicous food and authentic Italian surroundings. To avoid disappointment it's advisable to book a table in advance.

How lucky is Penge having such a fantastic pizzeria in our neighbourhood? Everything here is authentic. The starters are not to be missed, and if there's a special on offer you have to go for it. We always have the owner choose our red wine and it's devine! The presentation of the food is awesome. My family and I come back here time after time.

Fabulous intimate restaurant, very authentic, we are Italian and we return here whenever we crave a pizza fix. When we have family over from Italy we have take outs and they ALWAYS say how authentic it tastes. Tasty simple delicious, pizza done proper. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We were hoping for wood-fired pizzas but instead got ones that were damp and cooked in an electric oven with chunks of tinned tomato instead of puree on top. So sad as the staff were really lovely and I wanted this to be a local gem we could return to. Also had very pricey and underwhelming calamari.

Small cozy authentic Sicilian pizza restaurant. Attentive staff . Starters fresh and delicious and to follow a large pizza and many to choose from . Kid friendly and best to make a reservation. Bottled beer very nice . All at a very reasonable price . Good for birthday celebrations

Delicious, generous starters, authentic ingredients for all courses and drinks. Friendly family run restaurant. Suitable for a casual supper and a celebration. Pizzas are great and sumptuous, combinations of pizzas catering for vegan, vegetarian, fish and meat eaters. Wine enjoyable and moreish.

I've eaten here a handful of times because I live locally. Atmosphere is lovely and I always feel like I'm on holiday. The portions are amazing for the price and the food is proper Italian and tastes fresh as anything!

This little independent restaurant needs as much exposure as it deserves. Tucked away in a parade of shops that you would not even consider going to for such an experience. As soon as you walk through the door you are transported to a holiday vibe and buzz of Sicily not the outside world that Penge may offer.

Wow! The guys in this family run restaurant make great food and great company. We popped in for a quick bite after a day's building work and shared two main meals. No room for pudding! The next day we went for a starter and pudding.

Ok so make sure you book a table in the evening- lunchtime should be fine.

Awful service waited 25 mins to order drinks even then we had to call out..... excuse was ' sorry I'm on my own' sorry if you can't cater for members of the public then you shouldn't sit them down.....walked out as would rather give my money elsewhere

What a wonderful place! The first thing I would like to say is that the people in here are very genuine in their work and about the the food I can definitely say that its from another world! Hands down!

Tucked away in an unlikely spot where Beckenham meets Penge but what a discovery. Great decor, nice, unpretentious ambience, pizza amazing and a very good house red by the glass. And all very reasonably priced

Good Sicilian food, perfect pizza, The antipasti are tasty and large and good Sicilian wine. Family run, small and intimate. Don't expect a big place, it is cosy, we come here for the food, the menu is small and fesh. When we have family visiting from Italy, we often get takeaway pizza from here and they all say it is the best. Good tasty Sicilian home cooking.

Excellent pizza, authentic Italian flavour. Despite being fully booked they managed to squeeze us in and I’m glad they did. Thanks in particular to Caesar who made us feel at home in his restaurant!

Have walk past this place many times and it always smelt amazing so decided to pop in and oh boy it didn’t disappoint. Food was incredible, restaurant was charming and the staff very friendly. Little gem in penge.

My wife and I ordered a Bufaline al Forno and Bruschette al Pomodoro for starters and the Diavolessa pizza and a mixed salad to share , and everything was lovely . The starters tasted fresh and the pizza had a lovely crisp base with fresh toppings, the only slight criticism would be that I would have liked a few extra toppings . We also had a glass of wine each , so all in all it was a great meal , comfortable surrounding all for less than £35.

Peopel rave about this place but we don't know why. Chillies blow your mouth off, always boiling hot inside (I know that there's an oven - even so). Poorly laid out - especially if you're unlucky enough to sit near the door - it'll be banging into you most of the evening. Boozing waiter teh night we were in. Shame - it could be so good.

i happened to be in the area for a wedding and this was such a surprisingly happy find. the food is amazing: real authentic sicilian food. loved the arancini and grilled aubergine parcels. the pizzas were divine. and to top it all, the service is friendly, relaxed and the waiters are sexy! definitely recommended

This is a real hidden gem in the Penge area. Fantastic pizza made with fresh ingredients, incredibly generous portion sizes (The Stuffed Mushrooms starter could be a main in itself) and a good range of food on offer. Sicilian Art has it all. The dining experience is quite intimate and cosy, however this means the restaurant fills up quickly so I really recommend booking a table in advance. Incredible value for money. A must try.

We were looking for something to eat before getting our fish from the fishmonger & came across Sicilian Art. What a find!!! Place is fantastic. We shared the bruschetta and burrata for starters and a pizza after. Too much food for me but delicious all the same. Fresh ingredients, great service and cheap! I'm definitely going to become a regular. Can't wait to go again

My daughter and I ate here on my birthday and it was a really great evening washed down with a very reasonably priced bottle of presecco. The food was excellent and our waiter very attentive and good fun. We both had starters which we shared and then for main we had a pizza each which was delicious. The whole evening was excellent and great fun. We are definitely going back here again and I highly recommend you try it out.

We met at the Scicilian Art Pizzaria on Saturday for lunch. This is the first time we have been to this restaurant and the consensus was it was really good, the staff, the food etc really made our afternoon.

The food was amazing. As it in Sicily cuisine, it tastes differently from other Italian restaurants in London. I especially love cannoli and sicilian flavor pizza. The restaurant itself is very clean and modern. I absolutely love it. Will definitely go back again.

This restaurant is such a little gem. All the food is so delicious (we had Focaccia al Aglio to start and I had the Napoli pizza for my main) and the service is great - waiters are super friendly. It's all such good value and there's a really lovely authentic feel to the place. One teeny tiny complaint - it was a tad too hot in there, me and my other half were boiling. Apart from that it was perfect!

asked for table for 2 at 9pm on a Saturday (place empty) waiter looked at his watch, shrugged his shoulders and said "ok". sat at a table some insect crawled up the wall which I killed with the handy breadsticks. food was actually ok drinks luke warm

Went for a sunday lunch. Had a starter each followed by a pizza each all washed down with a bottle of Grillo. The starters were well presented, very filling (large) and full of fresh flavours. Now to the pizza's. They were very good, probably the best we have had. The waiting staff gave us a typical Sicilian drink after our meal. Also forgot to mention that I had a Sicilian Messina beer and my wife had a large glass of Rosè prior to the meal. Well worth a visit. Good decor although quite small. I would recommend booking if you wish to go. Keep it up. Great place.

Really lovely little place, delicious pizza and great fresh ingredients. The daily special arancini sharing platter we had to start was especially tasty and beautifully presented. Very friendly staff and a pleasant ambience.If you don't know where it is though, check the address! TripAdvisor seems to show this place on the High Street in Beckenham, but it's actually on the High Street in Penge near to Kent House station. Got a glimpse of someone else's garlic bread as we were leaving.... it looked very tempting, so I think I'll be getting that next time!

Friendly local pizzeria (really Penge rather than Beckenham but easily accessible by bus.Really tasty big pizzas at very reasonable pizzas. Real star is the antipasti. A group of us from our Italian class at the college across the road have been there twice for end of term lunches - the first time we ordered the antipasti selection - we were seriously full by the end of it and just ordered coffee and mini-desserts. The second time, keen to try the pizzas, we asked for a smaller selection but still received two very generous platters between ten of us. Prosciutto, mortadella and other cold meats, cheese, salad, grilled veg, arancini and other delights. Three pizzas between us followed and plenty of reasonably priced red and white wine; we were a very happy class. Very good friendly service - the bill (with tip) worked out at £23 each. Highly recommended.

Nice decorations and great ambient. This place is very unique in Penge & Beckenham . We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. However pizzas were just ok. Olives had pits and didn't have much taste, salami had more fat than meat and my Diabola pizza (no. 17 on the menu) was not spicy. It had very little chilly if at all. Service was somewhat slow but I can wait in a such nice setting.

We were surprised and amazed with the decoration. We felt like we are in our grandmother's house, very homey. We were very hungry on arrival after long waiting our food arrived. My calzone was huge and pizza was delicious. We also had dessert "tiramisu" in the end. We find it little hard to slice. Tiramisu's I had usually were delicate and easy to slice. I'm not sure where all the good reviews come from. Fresh ingredients are a plus but the dough is nothing like the authentic Italian one. In fact, I wouldn't come here again.Polite staff and very nice smell but nothing more than that.

Visited here on a Saturday evening with friends and had an amazing meal! Service was welcoming and friendly, also nothing is a problem to change on the pizza toppings. As close to Italy as you can get in the area! The starters are served with more than generous portions so save some room for the pizza's as it is so worth it. The pizza's flavour was amazing and also the Italian Artisanal Beers went down a treat too! A hidden Gem of a place and your not felt to be rushed to finish your meal or after treats as you get with many of the high street chains! Highly recommend!

Just visited this restaurant after driving past it for months now. A small cosy restaurant family run. The food was fantastic, service was good. We had garlic bread, stuffed mushrooms and garlic bread for starters all were very good. The mains we all had pizza and the homemade tiramisu was just amazing. We didn't get the name of the gentleman who served us but we will definitely be visiting again as he has assured us he will be giving us tips on our future visit to Sicily

Excellent food and service. I keep returning to this great Italian restaurant. The place is small but lovely and the staff are friendly.

Phoned in, placed an order for three pizzas and were told to turn up in 25 minutes. This we duly did as the pizzas were going into the oven. Excellent they were too. Thin, crispy, with good amount of toppings. We ordered a couple of extra toppings and the bill for three came to £30. We'll use them again. Recommended.

Great place to eat with loved ones, family, friends or alone. Great food and good selection of wines, beers and soft drinks. Service is paced to the customers needs, never neglectful and attentive when needed. Really enjoyed the food and the experience, would highly recommend. The will provide gluten free pizza base and if a few of you going best to book as a small venue.

Splendid Calzone's - simply done but well done & nice choices of Sicilian wines & beers. Pretty busy for a Sunday evening which is a good sign - my first visit but most of other customers seemed like regulars!

Friday early evening, the place was very busy but we had booked as it's a small restaurant. Great pizzas and great value, would definitely return. My only downside was that the waiter didn't seem particularly welcoming until right at the end when we tried very hard to engage him in conversation.

This is such a wonderful little restaurant and beautifully warm, with a real feeling of escaping to Sicily. The food is so delicious and the family that run it have such a knowledge of good ingredients. We will come back without the children soon.

The pizzas here are just divine. The sicilian food is out of this world, the service is oh so Italian and if I tell anyone about this restaurant, there won't be a space for me the next time I just want a lovely meal!

We're fortunate enough to live very close to this wonderful Italian restaurant. We have been numerous times and always enjoyed it. The food is fresh and pretty authentic going on my own trips to Italy. It's also very tasty and comes in generous helpings - we normally take home a doggy bag or two! What's also nice is that it's a very relaxed atmosphere. One of my favourite restaurants and feel lucky to have it round the corner.

What can I say? If you love pizza, you'll love this place. Freshly made and decently priced. They've recent stopped doing BYOB, and now have their own wine list - but that's fairly priced too.

My son is Coeliac and on a wheat free diet and we have struggled to find him a decent gluten free pizza so he was v happy when he found the ones at Sicilian Art , the best ones we have found! Much tastier and bigger than Pizza Express and it always feels so much better supporting a local business , he loves this place! Just give them an hours notice as made from stratch!

We were recommended this pizza restaurant so telephoned and booked for a Saturday night. It would be very easy to miss this place as I have driven past on many occasions and never noticed it! It is very small and some tables are near the entrance which can be draughty. It is certainly not fancy food but Pizza. We both had different pizzas and they were really excellent. Also very well prepared salads to accompany the pizzas. Very friendly staff and a well priced menu. Leaves Pizza Express way behind. A taste of Italy in Penge.

We booked at late notice and they were really happy to squeeze us in before another large booking.We had the Bufaline al Forno to start which was delicious and then 2 tasty pizzas. The portions are big so I took some of my pizza home with me to enjoy later! Really generous toppings and both pizzas perfectly cooked. The staff were friendly and welcoming, we will definitely be back!

This local Italian pizza place is amazing... the pizzas are really tasty and there is a great selection to choose from either for restaurant or take away and at an affordable price The restaurant is quite small but cozy and the staff and waiter are friendly. We are slowly working our way through the menu and have yet to be disappointed highly recommend, although shame they don't yet do a home delivery service.

My partner and I are pretty much addicted to Sicilian Art Pizza having discovered it when moving into the area. The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere and you could quite easily pretend that you are on holiday whilst in there . . . rather than in Penge! The pizza ingredients and toppings are always fresh and delicious and the waiters are happy to give good recommendations if you are unsure of what to order. The menu also changes on occasion with exciting specials from time to time such as Tuna Carpaccio - not always available but if its on the menu then definitely don't miss out. The only very slight downside is that sometimes they have been very busy so service has been a little slow . . so its best to be prepared to settle in for the evening order a nice bottle of red and enjoy the bread sticks while you wait for your pizza :)
