The food at Little Italy is always good but lunch today was the best yet . Papperdelle pasta with chicken , sundried tomatoes , spinach , onions , pesto , olive oil , mozzarella, and black pepper Bella Bella , you won’t be disappointed, Francesco always serves authentic Italian cuisine , pay this little restaurant a visit , we’re always made welcome x

Recently, me and my family visited this charming Italian Cafe and I have to say, we were not disappointed. My husband and I had the Ricotta Spinach Ravioli, which was amazing, and my son had the Spaghetti Bolognese. After the delicious food, we all suddenly started craving something sweet. I was told that they offered many different cakes and other sweet treats. We ordered some Pistachio Cannoli and they were divine. Overall, we had an amazing and delicious lunch and we definitely will be back soon!

It's such a shame. We visited this quaint little establishment as it had been recommended historically as very good. Ok... on arrival, we thought if this was so good, why was there only one customer in here? There were a choice of 5 dishes in their chilled display, 4 pasta, and 1 meat. We chose, and the gentilman serving offered drinks, which we declined. We chose a chicken breast and Crabmeat ravioli parcels in tomato sauce. There was an AC machine far too cold there, doors were wide open... Outside was to cold n windy so we chose opposite corner. Both dishes came warmed up, with some Iceburg based chopped salad and a dressing. £27.40... ffs. That's taking the piss. Meat was tough, quantity was small, the veg it was cooked with in the display was limp and tasteless. The Crabmeat turned out to be a paste, and even antipaster's know fresh pasta should not be heated. It seems he's made a good living on passing trade for many years, taking their money, and they move on without complaint or review.

I was looking forward very much to visiting Little Italy in Sunbury . I was not disappointed I had an excellent cappuccino and a nice piece of lemon tart. The service by Anastasia was very good.

This cafe really is a slice of Italy. Very relaxed atmosphere with great coffee and food. This is all served by really friendly staff.

Unsatisfactory melanzane parmigiana, a dish I've had several times in other eateries. It had aubergine, a tomato sauce and a little parmesan sprinkled on top. I was surprised that there was no mozzarella cheese as well.

Wonderful lunch today we had the specials very tasty chicken and aubergine parmigiana with salad. Nice spot to watch people go by too

Fantastic food! The pasta was phenomenal! Also- best cappuccino in town paired with a pistachio cannoli! The service was great and the restaurant has a homely feel!

I had a chicken parmigiana and my wife had crab ravioli. It is hard to find real authentic Italian food and I would recommend this place if you're ever in Surrey and looking for some real tasty Italian.

4 of us going into London so wanted early dinner on the Friday, 2 had pasta 2 had salads, was so exceptional returned on the Saturday! The most authentic Italian food I’ve tasted outside of Italy, the pasta melts in your mouth. My friend who’s a bit of a foodie said it was the best salad she’d ever eaten! Will return!

We wanted a fun food option for a party so asked Little Italy to provide 20 pizzas on a Saturday evening. Francesco the owner was so helpful and flexible, happy to cater to what we needed. The pizzas were freshly made and delicious, we even saw the dough proving when we popped in at lunchtime! Highly recommend, lovely local business.

Visited here with family on Saturday. Cafe was very busy but we were quickly shown to a table and made very welcome. The Cafe Late was hot and delicious and whilst the different home made pastas were equally as tantalising, we opted for toasted ciabattas which were all mouth-wateringly delicious. Freshly made with splendid ingredients. Staff were friendly and hardworking. I can't recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be back to try the pasta very soon.

We found this place when we moved in last year. We have been going there ever since on average twice a week. We always share an egg, bacon & sausage ciabatta which is always good. We’re always found the staff friendly. If you like the idea of a little bit of Italy in Sunbury then this is the place for you. Ciao 😀

Absolutely amazing place! Lovely food and lovely people, felt very welcome. The restaurant itself is quite small however quite cozy (Especially when it's raining outside) and the location is nice as it's a 2 minute walk away from the river.

Fantastic pasta incredible delicious very very tasty authentic and a great selection of cakes would strongly recommend enjoy prego ciao

My son and I visited here today and have to say we were not disappointed, the atmosphere was lovely, staff was lovely and the food was exceptional, we had spaghetti and meatballs, garlic bread and cannoli and lemon cake with coffee. Will definitely visit here again.

A wonderful place with authentic Italian food! Pasta, pizza, ravioli, cannoli, cakes - everything tastes great, and you just can't resist trying it all! The black spaghetti from ink of squid with seafood is unbelievably delicious! You'll feel as if you're transported back to Italy while sipping on real Italian wine. Wonderful owners, very cozy and charming surroundings! And real Italian coffee leaves no one indifferent. The first time you come here you will want to come back again and again.. :)

We had a delicious lunch, beautiful home made pasta and pizza- everything tasted authentic and fresh. Don’t be deceived by the small cafe like premises- the food is fab!

Haven't visited the area for over 50 years and after a very pleasant but chilly walk along the river we were glad to come across this cafe. We only had coffee and cake but it was a good standard and reasonably priced. Clean modern interior. Friendly service.

It's a lovely place to go with Family, couple or even solo. Whatever you have, breakfast, snacks, pasta, pizza or even just for a cup of coffee/tea or an ice cream, you will be drooling. Actually, in my opinion, is the best restaurant in lower Sunbury.

Today we had a family lunch in this hidden gem, strategically located in the heart of Lower Sunbury, just few steps away from the scenic Thames. Pizza was delicious, so as the famous “cannoli”, well accompanied by an authentic coffee. Highly recommended for breakfast, lunch or for a joyful coffee break

Little Italy is by far one of the nicest places in the area. Homemade, authentic Italian food which is absolutely delicious. We had the pizzas today and they were wonderful. We’ve also had pastas and Paninis and it’s all brilliant. Don’t forget to grab some cake or a cannoli on the way out! The owners are wonderful and the atmosphere lovely. Good for couples or family - our youngest had her first taste of watermelon there, which the owner kindly brought out for her. Support local if you can! Won’t disappoint.

Manager so rude to staff and overly 'nice' to customers. So false! Bottled water served with top off the bottle before coming to the table...yep! it was tap water and charged as bottled! Wilted salad and tasteless chicken, soggy panini too. Lovely location which is what attracts unsuspecting customers. Expensive rubbish. Had to give one star to rate this place, otherwise would have elected to leave no stars at all.

Famiily Saturday lunch.. everyone had different choices, including one GF spaghetti. Food arrived progressively, surely a sign of individual cooking, but not ideal especially as hungry granddaughter's food came last!! .. everyone enjoyed their options. My friend and I decided to try this local Italian restaurant upon stumbling on it, our Airbnb host initially had recommend to try The Shahin Indian restaurant but decided to give this place a try anyway. Upon entering, not sure if it was because we looked like tourist or if this is usually the way they are but the madam taking our order was rather rude than nice when taking my order making me feel uncomfortable to dine in, instead we opted for a take out order. Her overbearing and aggressive attitude towards us did not make us feel welcomed. Overall our experience here was rather negative, the food was good but I wouldn’t recommend other friends or tourists to give this place a try. Stick to the other restaurant around there as they might be more welcoming.

Every time we have been to Little Italy we are made to feel so so welcome, the service is amazing and Francesco and his wife are so lovely and very welcoming. A great little restaurant to eat fantastic food, with flavours to die for. We both love Italian food and have been to lots of good restaurants, but Little Italy is the best by far. Every time we have been, we both can not wait to visit again. We would both recommend this amazing restaurant to everyone. If we were to try and describe the food and flavours in one word it would have to be, STUPEFACENTE

It was the middle of a Monday afternoon and after driving up to Sunbury to meet our good friend Rick, we asked him if there was a good restaurant close by we could all go to, he recommended Little Italy and what a wonderful treat it was.

Came here one sunny afternoon after a long walk through Sunbury Park & it was a toss up between The Walled Garden Café and trying for the first time this cafe. Well.... not only was the service very slow just to make x2 Lattes but my husband was shocked with the price. No we would not go here again.

The most delicious lunch in an authentic feeling Italian .I had a very fresh salad and the best garlic bread I have tasted, all served with friendly enthusiastic staff it’s definitely my go too for breakfast lunch or dinner with friends .It has an informal atmosphere and food of a very high standard I would recommend this quaint little corner restaurant to everyone visiting lower sunbury and the riverside where on a sunny or even cold day it feels like a holiday.

I love this restaurant. The food is the best Italian food outside of Italy, authentic and delicious. The service is excellent and always delivered with a smile. My grandsons, two and five, want to eat there every time we take them out and my mother, 89, doesn't like any other restaurant. I would strongly recommend a visit if you haven't already been there.

We came here several times while staying with relatives in Lower Sunbury over New Year's.The food was great quality and the service was excellent. I remember my black pasta with squid, as well as the cannoli & specialty coffee. My husband enjoyed retreating here over the Christmas season, and appreciated the garlic bread and wine. The cafe has a nice European flavour, and prices are reasonable. It is family run, and offers a personal touch.

Unbelievably Amazing pasta. Took 4yo and 18 month old. Made them feel welcome and did special pasta for them. Lovely staff. Great cake. Authentic. Can’t recommend more.
