The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Italian food

Coffee was good although disappointed there is no full breakfast despite it being advertised online. Overall, very overpriced in general. If they bring back the full breakfast, I would maybe give this place another chance. The pancakes and syrup were great though. We got two cappacicounos, one roll sausage and egg and pancakes and it was £28. This is robbery.

Since it has been taken over it is so much better. The food is really good especially the fry ups, lemon drizzle cake and carrot cake 😊 Great coffee too!

Vengo aquí todo el tiempo para comprar la deliciosa comida que venden. He probado las galletas, donuts, pasteles, sándwiches y un pastel hecho a medida. Todo es masivo pero súper barato, solo £ 2 / 3 para la mayoría de los artículos.

It started with a guy doing balloons in the car outside and ended with a drug deal in the middle of the road as we were pulling away. Not the restaurants fault to be fair but it gives you the idea of what a sh*t hole the area is. Now the food. Carbonara was bland , beef rags over cooked and dry and pizza was average but a bit light on toppings. 1 st impressions was to leave wish we had. It was recommended by a guy I play football with. DC thanks mate it’s a carsey ! Never give me a recommendation again please.

Eros is totally unique, an olde worlde building with 2 small staircases leading up, old beams & uneven floors, absolutely beautiful. We had Romeo & Juliet Prosecco whilst we perused the menu, which took a little while as we couldn't decide because everything sounded lovely. In the end, we chose whitebait & feta parcel, kleftico & duck breast, all of which were beautifully presented, generous & delicious. We shared the orange pie as we were full but couldn't resist the dessert as it sounded gorgeous. The service was also very good. I would definitely recommend Eros & look forward to returning. Thank you.

I’ve been many times over the years, different locations but the coffee, food and choice of Italian groceries has remained first class. But most of all, the atmosphere is so Italian and the staff are the best. It’s my first choice place to go in Manchester regardless of location. Simply the best 🇮🇹

The restaurant was very quiet for a Friday evening. It lacked atmosphere and the whole experience was mediocre. The menu is very small too.

Love this cafe, wont seem much as you walk past it but a hidden gem for sure. I will surely class this best cafe in 5 miles radius. Choice of food, quality, selection of coffee and teas. Service is great and quick. You wont be disappointed. Parking behind the cafe. Nice place to meet with friends or kids

Mi pareja reservó esto para mi cumpleaños número 40 después de haber estado allí para el cumpleaños de su amigo en marzo, pero esta fue mi primera vez comiendo aquí Me encanta absolutamente la comida italiana y había oído solo cosas buenas sobre el restaurante! Ha existido durante 45 años y hay una razón por la que - deliciosa comida casera de alta calidad! Tuvimos 3 cursos. La comida estaba absolutamente deliciosa, recién cocinada con amor y se podía saborear la calidad en cada bocado de cada plato! Mi compañero pidió el Polpettine para empezar - las albóndigas estaban preciosas llenas de rico sabor a carne y la salsa era deliciosa, tenía filete de filete para el medio cocido principal - raro como nunca había tenido un filete de filete antes y era para morirse! ¡Derretirse en la boca, cortarse como mantequilla recién cocinada a la perfección! Luego tarta de queso de postre - era deliciosamente cremoso y la base de la galleta era suave y mantecoso, pero no aceitoso - absolutamente divino! Tuve el entrante de jamón y melón de Parma - sabor increíble para algo tan simple, Topo Gigio Spaghetti para principal que era tan fresco y sabroso y la Panna Cotta de postre - ligero y cremoso con deliciosa fruta fresca! Es un restaurante muy pequeño; perfecto para una comida íntima en pareja y el servicio es insuperable! Sin duda volveremos a reservar para el próximo mes! Recomiendo Topo Gigio!

We would not eat Italian food anywhere else, Rocco and Gill are great hosts and the food is superb, my partner and myself went to Rome 3 years ago and I can honestly say that the food at Rocco’s is better than any restaurant we visited there. Just try it once and I guarantee you will be back for more.
