Staying in hotel near by so had dinner here on a Friday night. The service was excellent and very friendly, the wine paired perfectly with my dinner (the duck ragu), and the pasta was the best I’ve had outside of Rome. I highly recommend this restaurant and although dining on my own I can imagine it would be a lovely place to share with friends.

On entry at a totally empty lunchtime restaurant I was reminded again of what it had been to be a solo diner in London when I was pointed to a small table. Only when the manager saw my hesitancy was I told I could sit anywhere. I was the only diner for the lunch period and I'm not surprised. I thought I'd support the restaurant and studied the expensive a la carts menu and readied myself to order asking the waitress what would be easy for the chef as it was first day back. I was a little surprised to then be told only the "specials" £10 menu was available. So with a chef doing nothing they didn't want to make £33 instead of £10. Not sure of the economics here...Anyway,I ordered and could now see where thoughts on economics had kicked in. The physical plate and soup bowl were tiny and the soup served at a 1 inch depth seemed stingy at best. Similarly, the Ragu portion was tiny with almost zero meat. The wine was to be inhaled rather than drunk such was the measure. Definitely not the portion size I've experienced in most Italian restaurants. After eating my meal, I hung around as I was between appointments and wondered if I was ever to be offered a dessert menu or coffee. I was offered neither so gave up in the end and chased for my bill.Going back to the subject of this review, I am stunned at the complacency of this restaurant which seems to think it can continue to operate as if we were pre covid when the city was busy and tourists were aplenty. The world has moved on and this performance has done little to encourage this diner to support London restaurants.

This is a very noisy restaurant, to the extent that having a conversation with the person sitting opposite you is a real strain. The menu is short and the wine list ids long which shows its providence as a wine bar with food, rather than a restaurant with wine. I ordered the skate wing with mussel sauce and green pepper for my starter which was a chef's special. The sauce was awful. No taste of mussel, just very hot green pepper. I only ate a mouthful. When the waitress came to collect the plates she did not comment on my full plate and I had to stop her to complain. She just looked at me as if I was an idiot. I suggested that it should be removed from the bill. My main of bigoli spaghetti with duck ragout was very good. They did not take my suggestion of removing my starter from the bill. I will not be returning.

Food and service is a bit hit and miss here. Bruschetta was no better than could be made by anyone, Pork Belly looked like a misplaced offcut and small by anyone's standards. Scallops were good and Panacotta was nice but overall the food was disappointing. Service was slow until it came to paying the bill. Enoteca Rabezzana is an authentic Italian restaurant, with a great menu (not too many options, which is a good sign in my opinion) and a remarkable carte des vins. I went to this restaurant with my mum, located by the market in Farringdon. Pretty location and interior is pleasant. The staff were very professional, attentive and helpful when it came to ordering food and wine. Only complaints is the portions are not big, and the wine is a little on the steeper side (although an extensive list that’s worth a look). The pasta however was beautifully prepared. All in all a nice experience but I need more food.

I used to live down the road from Smithfield Market and was staying in the area for a couple of nights. We passed by this place, didn't know it so thought we would give it a go. To keep it short the wine was very nice but it would have been greatly appreciated if they could have brought the bottles to the table and poured in front of us - this would be a nice touch in keeping with an enoteca feel. From a service side it was a bit underwhelming - we asked for one wine which they didn't have, so we asked for something stylistically similar and they brought something entirely different - either a lack of knowledge or a desire to finish an open bottle, not sure which. The food was hit and miss, we had to send one dish back and while they did replace it with something else it took another 15 minutes by which time my partner's dish was stone cold. The rest of the food was ok, but there is some stiff competition for well-priced Italian food in the area and we felt there are better options from a dining perspective. If we went back we'd probably stick to wine and perhaps a plate of cheese and charcuterie.

Poi inizia l'ora dell'aperitivo, dalle 1730 alle 1930, quando si può avere una tapa con un bicchiere di vino a £10. Ottimo, spero di portare diversi clienti. Ate dinner here for my 30th birthday. Waiter was nice enough to agree to a free pudding for me. Wish we hadn't gone here. I really do. I love Italian food. So I chose here for my meal for me and a few friends. For starters I had bruchetta and a goats cheese and walnut salad. I liked the salad it had a good balance of walnut and cheese to salad. But the bruchetta was God awful. It was chopped tomatoes sprinkled with dried, Yes dried herbs on a slice of toasted bread. My friends had steak tar tare which was ok at best. For main I had the squid ink pasta with chilli which was ok. Portion size was on the small side. Friends had duck which was nice and a King prawn risotto with one king prawn. You read correct. One single prawn. We also had pudding hoping that it would salvage the meal. It didn't. Tirimusu. Made with sponge fingers squirty cream and a dusting of coco powder. I have had better supermarket value Tirimusu. I love that pudding but it was awful here. The Waiter was nice but on his own and rushed off his feet. He also forgot to take off the pudding so we had to ask for it to be taken off. We were going to take the Serivce charge off but we knew it was probably not his fault so we didn't. Will never go back. Daylight robbery for substandard food.

Just left, all seemed well with a friendly chatty waitress until there was some sort of crossed wires about what I ordered. After flagging that it wasn't what I expected there was no offer of a replacement. I then mentioned that I would at least like some chilli to make it a tiny bit more like the nduja dish that I asked for, this never arrived. When the bill came we said that we were reducing the service charge only for the waitress to ask how she was going to explain this to management and then ignored the amount we quoted per person and put in the full amount hoping that we wouldn't notice. I think the food was actually good and a nice venue, but I won't return.

Not usually a complainer but having unwillingly spent £80 on food I didn't enjoy deserves a stern review--especially since I used to be a chef and still work in the food industry. Trust me when I say I know what I'm talking about--though this restaurant seemed to think all customers are wrong. The starters were mediocre--fried artichoke was very difficult to eat and fibrous. The beef tartar was under seasoned. However our French server was wonderful and gave us perfect wine suggestions. When the mains came, we were totally disappointed. Rigatoni carbonara was undercooked and overly salty. We complained TWICE. This got sent back and when the second attempt came back it was still undercooked and the mixed salad was 90% salt 10% salad. Wait staff avoided us and when we complained to the manager she told us that because they had cooked it twice she still wanted to charge us even though it was unpleasant to eat. Even though we were willing to pay for three starters and 4 glasses of wine, they didn't want to refund us £16 of salad and pasta. In the end they took the pasta off but not salad. Never apologized and super cheeky. I love to promote restaurants in my area and I usually never complain, but this place was unprofessional, uncaring and ridiculous. Never going back--mostly due to the manager not even the food. If they had just apologized and understood we were already paying a lot of money already I would have forgiven the staff--unfortunately this didn't seem to care about repeat business or word of mouth. Maybe they could learn about hot volatile the hospitality industry is. If a customer is unhappy and complains, you need to take it seriously rather than personally. Never been this disappointed with restaurant management before, totally disappointed in this place. Not worth the money or the time.

This place looked like a proper italian from the outside but I was very disappointed with the carbonara, I could have made it better myself. It tasted like a packet cheese sauce! It was lukewarm so I sent it back. It got microwaved which turned the pasta chewy. My fiance had steak which he enjoyed. Puddings were lovely though, I had dark chocolate souffle and craig had creme brulee. We got half an apology for the main but no offer of a free drink.

We stopped here by chance on a Friday evening (when another well-known small-plate Italian place nearby was full) and we were very glad we did. The food was original, well-presented and cooked with care. Particularly outstanding were the deep-fried artichokes, which were as good as any I've eaten in Italy, and the poached egg with saffron and shaved truffles, which was a mouthful of joy. We also really enjoyed our wine; a very good bottle of Sangiovese. This is a genuine Enoteca which is Italian for a wine shop also featuring a bar and restaurant. It's a large airy space on Long Lane directly overlooking Smithfield meat market. Although there are bottles of vintage. Italian wined stacked high upon at least two walls, the large space with small tables in the middle demonstrates this place is just as committed to serving food - and judging by what I sampled from the extremely competitively priced lunch menu (two courses for £12,50) quality food at that. I started with a filling tagliatelle with pieces of veal in a thick creamy sauce. For a main I had chicken fillets With Parma ham and sauté potatoes, another simple but perfectly executed and satisfying dish. The white wine I chose was unavailable but was offered Gavi instead. As a dessert I was tempted by a Tuscan almond shortbread served with grappa. Service was exemplary. This is how to combine wine shop with restaurant from which the grossly overrated Humble Grape in Battersea (wine shop overpriced snacks little more than a token gesture at food) could learn a thing or two!

I visited this City/Smithfields restaurant for the first time today with a new client.AVOID AT ALL COSTS. AN AMATEUR OPERATION.1). A surly response (rather than a warm friendly smile) from the two blonde/brunette girls behind the cash till.2). On the lunch menu, the only meat option (for the lunch menu) was unavailable at 1pm i.e. only pasta dishes.3). I had the chilli and chick pea soup as a starter – no chilli and no flavour. An amateur soup.4). Asked for a cheap wine recommendation. Selected an overpriced £38 bottle. When the bill came it was £54 on the bill. The £38 was the take away price apparently. Never seen this 'take away’ price on a London restaurant menu before.5). Having had to negotiate with the restaurant over the bill in front of the client, they could not have been more inhospitable, no smiles, more like get out. This place won’t survive, and it doesn’t deserve to.

Please surprise, 2 very pleasant glass of red wines and a some nibbles on a friday night waiting for a show to start at the Barbican (5 min walks). Not too busy but will definitely be back for more. I have not tried the food menu, choices seems fairly limited.

As is usual for me, I stumble upon restaurants by chance. After a day of wandering around London we ended up at a pub and then went on to find something to eat. This restaurant had a small but interesting menu. Opted for lots of tapas -a new experience with Italian food. Lovely. Only problem was two choices were not available. Nice service.

Stopped here for a quick glass of wine before going out on Friday and really enjoyed it here. The staff were friendly and the wine was lovely - great selection and really nice atmosphere. Would like to come back for another tasting.

While the waiters are polite, willing and pleasant, they lack competence. Wrong order s, or wrong tables, full glass of wine spilled onto the spotless white shirt of a business client, waitstaff never seems ready or prepared, the place needs a senior waiter with authority to sort out and drill the staff.

We heard about Enoteca Rabezzana and had it for few months on the "to do list" so yesterday we decided to finally give it a try.AtmosphereThe place is well furnished and warm, staff friendly and you find yourself surrounded by bottles of wine, I would hazard 100% Italian wine :) If you have a bit of passion for wine you realise straight away you are in the right place.WineThe girl at the till turned up to be a qualified sommelier and I can tell she knows what she is talking about. She asked us what type of wine we were thinking of and what we were planning to eat. she suggested us to try an Italian Sauvignon Blanc, she told us the price of the bottle and she let us try it. What can I say? If you drink this New Zeland Sauvigno Blanc do not try this otherwise you won't be able to drink that cheap super market thing anymore. It was fantastic... Price of the bottle 35£FoodWe decided to try a wide selection of appetizers. They were all well prepared, presented and cooked. Fresh products and the good hand of the chef were evident from the taste and the presentation. In my opinion the beef tartare with truffle oil and parmisan chese shavings is a must try, meet was chopped with nice which left all the taste there. All apetizers are between 4 and 7£Overall great experience and real Italian taste. We will be back there soon. And my suggestion is to be prepared to spend that extra 10£ on the wine the result is sensational... Highly recommended.

I went to Enoteca Rabezzana for a casual dinner. ER connects Italian seasonal classics with a good wine list in one of the city's most handsome dining rooms. The flavours are delicate, the stunning seafood dishes are a perfect showcase.Try also the cheescake and it will be a unique food experience for both Italians away from home and good-food lovers. The staff is very welcoming and professional.

I visited this restaurant last Wednesday, we were a group of four; I'd not seen reviews but the interior and style looked very appealing, also the £10 set lunch. But it was very disappointing - we had two courses each of the set meal, and from arrival to leaving took an hour and a half - unbelievably slow for a lunch in a business district. The service was clumsy (broken glass, dropped fork), the menu was not translated correctly into English so that farfalle turned out to be slices of cold roast beef. The food was fine (although the honeydew melon served with prosciutto was not ripe). If it had been really busy we would have understood (tho' not been happy about) the length of time it took to get each separate part of the meal; but apart from us there were only 6 other diners. Not good enough.

New to the area, I was excited to try this place out- their advert for 148 wines by the glass appealed. I have been twice and on both occasions, the person serving talked us out of trying one wine and upsold to another more expensive wine (I didn't ordering on the second occasion and realised what had happened afterwards, this must be a regular thing for them). Ordered bruschetta and the manager tried again to upsell- "wouldn't you prefer a selection of starters (going on and on) and when I said no thanks, just the bruschetta please he looked visibly irked. There is a tendency to make a big production out of the wine when you may not want a lecture on it but to drink it and enjoy with friends. The staff were standing around chatting as it was quite empty yet had to ask repeatedly for side plates, oil/vinegar and water etc etc until it became slightly awkward. The food was average at best - 3 pasta dishes were "alright, could probably do better myself" and one meat dish, which was a very small portion for the price and was lukewarm. Given there was one other table in the place at that time, it's inexcusable. It was a Friday night where all the other restaurants were busy and buzzy yet this was strangely empty and now I know why. There is much better value with atmosphere on the same strip. Twice bitten, will not return.

My wife and I have a flat in the Barbican and finally (we are spoilt for choice around here nowadays) got round to visiting this stylish bar/restaurant last week. It was so good that we went back last night. We both like our wine and there is a staggering (as in very comprehensive) selection of Italians by the bottle and glass at all price points. The food - from small tapas - size portions through to full mains really surprised us by being not one but several cuts above the norm. Really thoughtfully put together and executed. Good service, and I think good value. If they could get permission to use the adjoining pavement on nice days it would be perfect.

Long Lane runs along the side of Smithfield Market and close to the historic churches of St Bartholomew the Great and the Lesser. So the restaurant is a good place to go if you are walking between the west end and the city. The restaurant is small but nicely placed. Main course set lunch is £10 and the atmosphere is pleasant enabling you to chat to your lunch guest. Service is efficient and unobtrusive. Enjoy

Had a nice dinner with a business group last night at this Italian wine bar/restaurant last night. The atmosphere is lovely and relaxed - the interior is pleasantly furnished. Lots of wine bottles on view and a great selection. The food was unpretentious and well executed. Will be back!

Stumbled across this whilst staying nearby and had a marvellous Saturday evening dinner. Beautifully styled and with attentive intelligent staff - a fabulous wine selection and just a top quality steak and cheeses we could not have asked for more from the evening. Very reasonably priced. A class act. Would visit again - in fact would go out of the way to eat there again.

We went to have a drink (they sell over 100 wines and the majority of them you can buy by the glass) and as soon as we saw the menu ended up staying for dinner. Fabulous tapas, sharing platters and pasta dishes and the chocolate soufflé is not to be missed. Great atmosphere and friendly, knowledgable staff. I'm planning my next visit already!!!

We eat in this part of London on a weekly basis after our salsa classThere is not much choice for evening eatingWe have walked by this restaurant on several occasions and didn't go in as it always seemed so quietYesterday we decided to try it and we are very glad we didThe menu is not extensive. However the chef was very happy to cook what we requested despite it not being on the menuAll the food - items from the menu as well as bespoke - were fabulous. Top quality and freshThe wine list is extensive and the Barolo we had excellent. Service was friendly although I did wonder how they would manage with the number of staff had it been busierAmbience too was goodSo don't be put off by the fact that it is not busy if you walk by. We have found our new weekly haunt. I wish this restaurant well and hope it manages to maintain its quality. It deserves to succeed

4 colleagues and i went for a quick bite with a glass of wine at lunch, my wine was far below the standard serving which i pointed out and was filled to match my friends. We were kept waiting for 40mins for our small plates of food to arrive with one having a very cold pasta dish. we were asked 10min into eating whether or not we'd like bread...the bread arrived once we had finished...then the butter after the bread was finished. after paying what we owed each with a few of us tipping where deserved the waitress came over to demand we paid the rest of the OPTIONAL service charge. considering the service we received this was the fastest anyone actually appeared at our table the whole hour. she did not acknowledge that the tip is optional and that we hadn't completely ignored it just given what we felt was deserved. overall this was poor service, average food.

How disappointing! The only things this restaurant got right were those which they put on a plate uncooked - meat sharing plater - and take a cork from - nice prosecco. Other than that nothing to recommend it, anyone can do that. An open kitchen is a nice idea except where the view is of chefs and waiting staff stuffing their face from bowls into which the same fork is repeatedly plunged. Sweet took 45 minutes to arrive and was very poor. Not worth the money when there are so many lovey places round there to choose from.

This restaurant moved from the ground floor to the first floor to accommodate renovations. It’s now in a windowless room that, while nicely decorated, is quite claustrophobic and can get loud when it’s crowded. The restaurant also seems understaffed. While everyone is friendly and nice, the staff seem overwhelmed. You have to ask for things several times before it gets done, and it took a very long time for someone to come take my order. Overall, not a seamless experience and not something I would expect from the Four Seasons.

El diseño del café era bastante algo. ¡Las mejores notas! Buen comienzo para el día. El personal es amable y, como se puede ver en el diseño, se ocupan de su café.

This restaurant we have been coming for years now Bit disappointed that the bruschetta was taken off the menu Food was cooked lovely but the potions have got smaller which was a bit of disappointing and prices have increased which is expected. Staff are lovely especially the two lovely ladies.
