Outstanding service and food , such a great place to eat , food is absolutely beautiful and very good value

We were staying at Tattershall Lakes and decided we wanted something different so went for a take away from here. 1st positive was being able to collect after just 25 mins. 2nd was that they didn't start packaging the meal up until I got there and I could see everything was steaming and the garlic bread was boxed straight out of the oven while I watched. They even wrapped the boxes in cling film to prevent it from spilling out. The food was lovely, very hot and good sized portions, large flatbread garlic breads. Excellent service, excellent food at a very reasonable price. Would definitely have another takeaway

Visited as a group of eight two weeks ago and travelled on a thirty mile round trip so were hoping it was a good night out. Wasn’t disappointed buzzing family atmosphere on arrival, great front of house ( who took our sense of humour immediately) had a great three course meal with various wines and beers which we all thoroughly enjoyed. The place and open kitchen was spotless. We will be back to get service and food like that without paying silly prices is rare. Thanks.

We visited while staying at Tattershall Lakes. Looking for something different from burgers or fish and chips served by most restaurants in the area. We had the special set menu, opting for the chicken breast and crispy leg. Everything on the plate was excellent, well balanced and generous portions. Dessert was equally delicious. The front of house service couldn't be faulted. The whole experience was excellent. 10/10

I really wanted to like it this place and I was so excited to finally visit, having wanted to come for some time as this restaurant is on our doorstep and would have been perfect for a regular date night spot. We were in for an early dinner and found the welcome from staff quite underwhelming. They seemed to me much friendlier with the regular faces but as this was our first experience it wasn’t as warm a welcome. The service was fast but also left us feeling rushed. The decor is beautiful but the simplicity of the design means sound bounces around, despite only a handful of tables we struggled to have a conversation as it was quite loud. The flavour of the starter was just a little bit off, I couldn’t put my finger on exactly what the taste was but I described it as ‘foul’ while I was eating it and tied to mix everything together to hide whatever it was. My partners starter was disappointing in size and he felt the flavour balance was off, with some of the dish working very well (mint sauce with the mackerel was great) but other elements just being a bit odd and the flavour not working well with the dish. The mains portions were extremely small, the menu didn’t describe the dishes so it wasn’t at all expected, my ‘chicken breast’ main was just a sliver of a chicken breast and I was very disappointed. We ordered a side salad for £5 and received a bowl of 6 whole baby gem lettuce leaves, the dressing was absolutely gorgeous and a highlight of the meal, but honestly it was 20p worth of lettuce at best and this was a real let down, shared between two I took two leaves so my partner could have more as his 4 pieces of pasta in the main were not vastly satisfying. The desert was absolutely phenomenal, both were really really delicious and the best bit of the meal by far. I found the ceremony of the waitress pouring the cream to the side of my cheesecake totally bizarre and hilariously pretentious. If nothing else this will be a memory we laugh about for years to come. On feedback, the first time a waitress checked on us I said ‘it is okay’ during the starter and ‘it is…. Interesting’ during the main. She smiled, thanked us and walked away so I don’t think they picked up that we weren’t really enjoying the meal. I would suggest being very direct with feedback. There was a very useful form at the end and I think we were maybe kinder than we should have been on reflection and scored them a 6.5/10. It wasn’t horrible, but we sadly won’t be back and are very sad really as would have loved to have been a regular here.

This place is amazing. The staff are so lovely and happily customised our meal to make it gluten free. The food is to die for! I’ve been here many times and never been disappointed. Well done guys :)

We were lucky enough to book a table for the second of Puccini's new Tasting Menu nights. We've visited before and love the usual menu, but this evening was something else. Seven courses (plus canapes and petit fours), absolutely overflowing with flavour, beautifully cooked and presented: and if you think a tasting menu has small portions, that's not the case at Puccini's! The duck (course 5) was easily big enough to be a main course on a typical evening. Alongside the duck, we loved the beef tartare (a work of art) and the beetroot salad. Excellent, friendly front of house service and we had a prime position to watch the chefs at work in the open kitchen. One tip - try and resist the kind offer of a second helping of the wonderful foccacia bread with chicken butter, or you might be struggling to eat everything by the end of the evening. I gather the restaurant plan to continue to run tasting evenings with a different menu each time: typical of the ambition of this wonderful place. We'll be back!

Fantastic Restaurant in the middle of Coningsby Lincolnshire, went with my wife on our date night. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced too. The Restaurant was very clean and the staff were lovely. Its an interesting old building too. We will be going back and I say it's well worth a visit.

We went for my wife's birthday on Saturday night. The place was clean and bright and we were seated at our pre booked table straight away. The waiting staff were very pleasant and we weren't rushed into making our orders. They were attentive throughout the evening and removed any finished drinks, plates etc in a timely and polite manner. Starters came fairly quickly but there was a bit of a wait for the main course. As it was a Saturday night and fairly busy both inside and with collection orders this really wasn't an issue - particularly as the kitchen is staffed by the chef and his sous only. Now to the food! In all honesty it was excellent! All four of us had different starters and different mains and all four of us could find no fault with anything. We all agreed that each dish we had was simply the best! I'd personally recommend this restaurant to the highest degree. Well done to chef, his sous and the waiting staff and thanks for giving us a meal to remember for a long time.

Book here for a family meal after it was recommended by someone else. Service was great and the food was amazing. It's hard to get excited by garlic bread, but I have to say it's the tastiest I've ever had! The pizzas were cooked well and so was the pasta. Would definitely recommend eating here, just make sure you book in advance as there wasn't any spare tables at any time we were there.

We visited here during our holiday at Tattershall Lakes. The food was so lovely we returned again just before we left for home. On the first visit we had starters and mains including pasta and flatbreads. All of the food was absolutely delightful. On the second visit we had pasta and chicken burgers, with my son saying it was the best burger he’d ever had! I would definitely recommend eating at Puccinis as the food is delicious and excellent value for money.
