Went for meal with friends and did not disappoint. Real Italian food at a reasonable price. Meals are quite large so only had a main but the starters also looked delicious (also large). Garlic bread was the best I've ever tasted. Belissimo

First time In Skegness, love Italian food so booked in. Portions are very generous, service professional and attentive. We boxed up our leftovers as were so full! Food was really, really good. I had a vegetarian tagliatelle, so good,kids had 'smaller' versions of what they wanted off the main menu, but very generous. Would definitely return if we lived closer, 5stars

Had a bad meal here about 2 years ago and have not been since. Going with friends we decided to give it another try. Very disappointing. 4/5 of us found the meal very lacking in taste . Very very bland and absolutely lacking any seasoning. The side salad was very nice.

Having visited and loved this restaurant many times over the last few years we were looking forward to returning. I'm not sure if it under new ownership but it's not the warm welcoming place it used to be. The food was awful and when I discreetly tried to mention my steak was over cooked and tough to the waitress, all hell broke loose. We were shouted at by the chef, verbally abused by the waiting staff and I was called a liar by one of the waitresses. The attitude of the staff was totally appalling. Never in my life have I been made to feel as awful as this lot made me feel. Avoid this restaurant at all costs.

We had high hopes for this restaurant after seeing all the amazing reviews but unfortunately we got disappointed quite quickly. The setting is quite nice but it got loud so quickly which is not restaurants fault but the people that were around us. We didn’t wait for food too long but if you’re going there for a steak i would strongly advise not to. My partner ordered a sirloin and said it was the worst steak he ever had and struggled to finish it. They brought his food with just chips and asked if he wanted a salad even though we already ordered one which is ok, the thing is he got the salad nearly at the end of his meal. We got served by like 3 different waiters and it just felt a bit disorganised if I’m being honest. Also saw the waiters carrying a lot of overcooked pizzas. The portions are big especially when it comes to pasta but like previous reviews said, they should focus on quality over quantity. We definitely wont be returning. Too expensive for service you get.

Decor looked lovely which intised us in. Thankfully they could slot us in as it was a busy. By just looking around the place, I ordered a Margherita pizza expecting a lovely wood fire pizza. I might as well have gone down the road to a cheap takeaway. Quality of the dough was just very sad. Waiters didn't ask how things were or if we needed anything. Sad times.

Drinks choice is terrible. House white or red wine poor no choice. My wife had prawns to start which when they came they were translucent. On informing the waitress they then came back and asked my wife what's wrong with them. If you can't tell if a prawn is cooked or not then you're in the wrong job. Cheap frozen like pizza was over cooked tasteless. I had fillet steak which was pretty poor. Overall.it was a rubbish meal which was supposed to be a treat. £100 spent and wasted.

My goodness. The portion sizes were three times the size of other restaurants I've visited, and I've frequented a few 😆 My appetite is big, and I couldn't finish my main. Absolutely brilliant value for money. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious traditional food. Fantastico!

Had a lovely meal here with my husband. The portions are big & are excellent. The food is cooked fresh & served quickly. We had the chefs special pizza & seafood linguine pasta. Absolutely delicious! The staff are friendly & the service they provide is really good. We would definitely go again if in the area.

Nice place but we found it too noise, which can’t be helped as it’s family friendly during the school holidays. Pastas were fine portions were big. We ordered the Italian pizza special , we recommend less toppings as the flavour was compromised by it being very overpowering. We think there was truffle oil on the pizza which pooled in the middle and gave a very strong almost chemically taste. This isn’t a relaxing meal or date location but is good for families. Service was good and prices were good.

Starters were very good , then i chose sirloin with chips n salad wife had sea food pasta..with garlic foccacia. Wife said hers was best pasta she'd had in skegness area ( i tried was very nice) my steak was bang average and in all honesty wasnt a patch on san ruffos steak which are 1 of the best iv tasted, oh no salad came out with the steak but wasnt a major problem for me .

Really nice restaurant. We stayed for 2 nights in Skegness and liked it here so much the first night, we ate here again the following night too. Really tasty food, nice portions and staff were all friendly. It was busy on the Saturday night but with food this good I'm not surprised. We didn't have to wait long for our food though. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for somewhere to eat

This restaurant is lovely, the food is fresh with big portions! However, we were extremely disappointed by how we were treated by a member of staff, who we believe to be the manager. His attitude towards us was extremely unfriendly and upon asking for the bill, he proceeded to say ‘you can pay at the bar’ but then brought the card reader out to the table behind us. We also saw other tables getting their leftovers boxed us, so we asked for this too and he made a comment, which seemed like it was too much trouble. As two young girls, we felt judged and frowned up. This was not the same treatment as the surrounding other tables. We felt singled out, as no one else seemed to treated this way. The two young female waiters were lovely, but this really put a downer on our experience!

Comfortable, well run restaurant with typical Italian menu. Service was good, portions were large, wine was good too, we enjoyed our evening and felt it was good VFM. Down to personal preference but we did think the flavours could have been ramped up on a few dishes, however. I had the calamari which comes with a wasabi mayo but the wasabi element was virtually undetectable. Then the penne Romana, which says it has some chilli in it but again it was hard to pick that out.

A WONDERFUL 50th Anniversary meal. Excellent food and incredible value too, no searching for food at Tarantino's, the servings are generous and great quality. Attentive and polite customer facing staff, and I FULLY RECOMMENT THIS EXCELLENT RESTAURANT. In 1974 we had our Honeymoon in Skegness and last weekend was our 50th Anniversary so we decided to replicate that wonderful time.

Another lovely meal at this fabulous restaurant. Chloe, Ettore and the rest of the staff are knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. The food was excellant and the seafood cooked to perfection. Thank you We will be back, see you soon

Amazing spot, great food and price

Wonderful meal. Visited on a Monday night taking a chance without having booked. Were were welcomed in straight away and made to feel very welcome. Had the antipasto and shared that, more than enough for two. Then the main event, the rigatoni and twelve inch pizza, enough for four people so we ended up taking the majority of the pizza home. The food was absolutely superb. Thank you Tarantino's for a wonderful meal, worth every penny👍

Fantastic food & and gluten-free friendly. We have been here a few times. it's our go-to place to dine as we know we are going to get great service. Friendly staff. And great food....last night, didn't disappoint!! Mussels and sauce tasted great... we all had different mains and we all enjoyed them. Portions are large and great quality. 100 percent recommend and will visit again soon.

After reading the great reviews, we booked this restaurant to celebrate our 52nd wedding anniversary, we were not disappointed. From the lovely greeting at the door to the service of the staff the food and drinks. The whole evening was delightful. I had read the food portions were huge, and shared this with my husband, did he listen, No. He chose a starter, whilst I had a bowl of sharing olives. The food was divine, we had a pasta dish and I chose the risotto, both were lovely.

My go to for Italian always happy to serve even late at night

This place is so amazing ! Staff are so polite and helpful, the food is really tasty we had the King Prawn Pasta and Pizza and both me and my partner really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is very romantic and relaxed. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food was ok - risotto, chips and a sea bass dish. Chips were a bit overcooked and oily. Sauce with sea bass was a plain tomato sauce. It looks like it's very dish dependent based on other reviews and photos - perhaps sick to the pasta. Pizzas that other dinners had didn't look too enticing. The table water bottle had black mould around the inner rubber seal. Waitresses were pleasant and polite but had to wait a while to be served and to pay (went to bar in the end after waiting).

We ate here one evening after arriving at the Premier Inn to find their restaurant had closed. The local staff both recommended it to us. I had lasagna and the pesto garlic bread and it was really tasty and I'd definitely recommend it. The house red wine was a great choice too. The service was good and the restaurant atmosphere was nice and a modern decoration. Definitely recommend it if you're visiting Skegness and don't want takeaway food or your standard pub grub. It was a bit off the usual track and I wouldn't have found it without the local recommendation.

Visited on a busy Saturday night but had booked the previous night. Arrived but had to wait for our table not really a problem as it was well worth the wait. Tomato and basil soup was delicious as also was the chicken Romana with vegetables. My husband had soup also then a Romana pizza that was very tasty. Great restaurant and quite reasonably priced. Will definitely visit again

The food was great. I ordered a ribeye which tasted great. It was well worth the 2 hour drive to get there.

What a nice find , excellent food and service but couldn’t believe the price £18 for a starter and main to full after that to even manage a pudding.Had to try a nice bottle of red £28 to accompany the excellent food very nice 👌

We returned to the Tarantino's on a busy Bank Holiday weekend. A short wait before ordering due to the volume of orders. The chicken Thermador was good but the Risotto chicken and mushroom was poor and not eaten - tasteless. We politely informed the staff and we received a £3 reduction (original cost £12.90) for this dish! Not our best visit here.

Wouldn’t recommend at all, come here regarding a recommendation for a date night with my partner, placed next to a family celebrating a birthday which was fine, until children throwing balloons whilst eating ruined my whole experience told the staff they had no control of the situation and clearly have no consideration for other paying customers, we also waited 50 minutes in between a starter and main.

Just had an amazing meal here. Very busy and the staff friendly. And the service was quick We recommend the meat balls wow tasty and filling. If you are in skegness go you will not be disappointed. Thank you to all the staff and especially the chef

Hidden gem. Gorgeous Italian food. Great service. Best Italian I’ve ever had.

Delicious food in a nice atmosphere. 👍 Love the conservatory dining area, shame it wasn’t open for diners on a quiet Wednesday. Found a free parking space at the back of the restaurant, not sure what’s parking options are like when it’s busy, but there’s plenty of paid parking nearby. Could have more vegetarian/ vegan options available. But because I am not fussy, the vegetarian options suited me well and were delicious!

Absolutely fantastic food. There were 12 in our party and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The Steaks were huge and cooked to perfection

3 local lads who usually love your food however this occasion for my brothers 30th we was well and truly let down. We had 2 x belly pork which tasted so bland as if they were boiled, and a sirloin steak which the best way to describe it was 6oz fat and 4 oz steak! I'm sorry folk but we are truly disappointed and won't be returning.

Restaurant was super busy and they still managed to accommodate us. Food was excellent and surprisingly didn't have to wait long for the food. Very generous portion sizes and good value for money.

A group of 6 of us went on saturdsy night, the food, the service and the staff was 1st class, we all said how much we had enjoyed it. We will definitely be back

I was seated straight away, seasoned traveller and wanted a change from the premier inn selection! Service was spot on, really polite and were quick and efficient. Starter, main and a couple of pints for just over £30.

The chicken served was red inside and not fully cooked When I complained I was given £3 YES £3! off the bill I told them I wouldn’t return. My friend had a similar experience last year

Although we hadn’t reserved a table, we were lucky they could fit us in on a busy Friday evening. The food was delicious and plentiful. I had lasagna and my wife had a prawn pasta dish. Authentic Italian food served by genuinely helpful staff. I would recommend a visit.

We hadn’t booked and only went here because the usual Italian we wanted to go to was closed. We have never been before and were pleasantly surprised by the decor. Service wasn’t overly friendly, but nor was it rude. We liked the pace we were attended to. It was slower than we are normally used to, but that suited us. Often as a couple we come away from a meal and we’ve only been an hour! The food was plentiful and delicious. The olives were really nice and my husband’s steak was huge. He is celiac and there was plenty for him to choose from. We would definitely go back, as we struggle for nice places to eat in Skegness.

Lovely food. Nicest restaurant we found in Skeggy. Big portions. 4 of us had 2 starters and a main each and we couldn’t finish it (and I can eat A LOT!). Homemade pasta was a winner. £112 for 4 with 2 starters, pint of Peroni and a nice bottle of red wine.

I have been here many times and tonight I went on our Christmas works meal. The meals were pre ordered so we didn't wait for food and it didn't disapoint but the staff were surly to the point of rudeness. We had to ask for dessert menus, these were bought out and left in a pile on the table. No reference to any "Specials",in fact no conversation at all. The bill wasn't brought to the table, nor were any after dinner mints offered. The girl taking payment never even said thank you, made it clear it was a nuisance to her. The festive spirit was clearly lacking, very disappointing.

We booked Tarantino's last minute and we are so pleased we were able to get a table. The food was outstanding! We had starters and mains and not one thing could be faulted. The salmon pate was so tasty and delicious, the ribs were spicy and the meat fell off of the bone, my Pollo Valdostana with seasonal vegetables was hot, cooked perfectly and one of the best dishes I have ever had. My husband had the blackened cod and he loved it! Make plenty of room as the portion sizes are more than adequate! The reason for 4 stars was the lights were bright and there wasn't a great ambience. Kids running around too. (I realise not the restaurants fault) Service was impeccable!

Let’s start with the positives. The place is nicely refurbed and welcoming warm after my cold walk there. Opted for a pint of moretti and that was lovely , also seafood linguine for mains was lovely . Service was attentive without being over bearing. Wasn’t having a starter but decided to have Truffle Aranchini balls (4) to help the pint go down. They were over cooked and they tried to disguise it under a mountain of raw garlic. Totally over powered anything that they had to offer. Dissapointing. I’ll give it another go ,it’s probably as good as the other reviews…. Maybe

One of my sister and husband's fave places...and mine when I visit. Layout different to last time for me. Wonderful driendly warm atmosphere as every time. Lovely moreish house red!! Great menu and can't wait for next time x

This is a nice Italian, much better inside than it looks from the outside. The staff are very good. Overall it was a bit pricey for quality. Plenty of Italian restaurants that are better in Skegness.

This is a really nice Italian restaurant, the building and decor is very modern, the staff are friendly and the food was amazing. Both had chicken dishes and both loved them. Definitely recommend and I'll visit again when I'm next in the area.

After checking reviews of Italian restaurants in Skegness this establishment caught my eye, food looked nice and the reviews were mostly positive, so we booked for 2 people but being out of season there was plenty of seating available anyway, overall the service was fast and the staff very pleasant and friendly, it was a very nice experience that's all I can really say, got nowt to complain about, their prices are about on par with other similar resturants and our 2 course dinner with soft drinks cost just under 60 pounds, i would recommend if you want some nice food...
