Livio's in Charnwood

We went to Livio's on a Friday and hadn't booked. This wasn't an issue as the restaurant was very quiet and after eating here we struggled to understand why it wasn't busier given the quality of the food and price. We were promptly served drinks in the bar area before looking at the menu. When our food was almost ready we were taken through to the restaurant. The food was great - freshly cooked and piping hot! We both had pasta - one with a puttanesca sauce and the other with garlic mushrooms and shared a mixed salad. All of the dishes were a decent size and so was very good value for money. The bill was approximately £40 including 2 beers each. We would happily return.

Can't believe we have missed this restaurant after living nearby for 7 years! Lovely Italian food at fair prices, good selection of drinks and friendly service. The regulars in the bar were very informative and the owner offered us a free after meal drink. Will definitely return soon.

Came here for my birthday in March. Amazing food. Very traditional Italian dining, nothing is rushed and everything is freshly cooked. There isn’t vegetarian on the menu but just ask and they have a vegetarian option available. Will definitely be back and recommend to all!

We went here as a couple last week, the restaurant was quiet but that was probably as well as there was just one person to run the bar and serve. When you arrive you are served drinks in the bar area only being shown to your table when the food is almost ready, depending on who else is in the bar area at the time this can be fun or awkward. The menu is fairly short but does contain a good selection, we found it impossible to find an online menu in advance to get an idea of what they serve or prices so I have uploaded a picture. There is a set menu of a choice of three starters, three mains and desserts of the day plus a bottle of wine between two for £30pp. You also get bread and olives as soon as you sit down at your table. The food was very good, not huge portions but sufficient and we left full but not over full. It is quite dim which was fine with us but one of the other tables was complaining. We will definitely go again.

Having read the previous reviews we booked a table at Livio's during a weekend stay in the area and were not disappointed. We received a warm welcome and great service throughout. The food was perfectly cooked and full of flavour, each of us thoroughly enjoying our meals. I would definitely return to Livio's and recommend to anyone who is looking for authentic Italian food.

Had a meal here last night. Beautiful, tasty, fresh food - the homemade puddings are to die for!!!! The atmosphere is so friendly and welcoming. A unique experience and a great assett for Shepshed. We will definately be back soon. Jane and Paul

My husband and I visited here in August for a very rare meal out together. I haven’t visited this restaurant in over 10 years due to not living in the area, but the quality and service was still fantastic. The staff were all lovely, the food was excellent and filling and for a very reasonable price. We will definitely be returning.

So we went here last nite and wow , what a chilled out atmosphere , food was excellent, price was brill , 5 stars I can not fault it .

From the moment you walk through the door you're transported to Italy. The decor, the staff the drinks. Expect to wait for your food. The pace will not suit you if you're desperately hungry but if you're willing to wait and enjoy a few drinks the food will not disappoint. Each course was delicious and to a very high standard. The hospitality before, during and after the meal was fantastic. We had a fabulous night at this hidden gem.

Visited with 4 friends and was impressed by great food and drinks at reasonable prices. Welcoming and attentive host, happy to adapt recipes to accommodate food intolerances. Everything freshly cooked and delicious. I had seafood pasta which included large shell on prawns, scallops , mussels and squid. Amaretto gateau, tiramisu, and all deserts tried were fantastic.Definitely be visiting again.

A 3 course set menu, including a bottle of house wine, for £25 per person or a wider selection of scrumptious dishes a la carte. Livio's is a family run, cosy restaurant, that is off the beaten path. but one that is well worth a visit.

Livio and Enza put on a great night for my 60th birthday party. They served up buffet style food and set out tables beautifully. We all had a great night, definitely one to remember.

We were recommended to Livios by friends of my partner. This great little Italian restaurant is tucked away in Shepshed. You wouldn't happen on it by accident but it's fabulous. Food is freshly cooked and delicious with amazing options. The wine choice is great and the staff are happy to recommend ones to you. We enjoyed it so much we recently took at party of 15 for my partners birthday. They were super accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. A great thing about this space is that even if you are going for a romantic dinner and there is a bigger table in there, you still feel very intimate...highly recommend.

We ate for a third time here in April 2018. The place is family run, cosy and a little quirky which for me makes it attractive. The welcome was warm and the food very good, reasonably priced and freshly cooked. The wines too are not all the usual suspects. We enjoyed a red that we had never come across before which was recommended to us. We shall return!

Visited with my girlfriend a couple of weeks ago and was given a wonderful, old fashioned trattoria experience so many places just dont do anymore.

Authentic Italian run by husband and wife. Excellent from the minute we were greeted and offered a drink I a small living room type area. Food was excellent and with the menu chosen we were able to drink wine until we finished eating.

Monday to Friday evenings have a 3 course set menu, with a complementary bottle of house wine for £24. The bar, where you wait to be seated, is small, cosy, but extremely well-stocked, and the drinks are very generous. Best to have a designated driver.

Muy tranquilo, pero era sólo una noche de martes después de todo y perfectamente capaces de entretener a nosotros mismos. Todos comimos el menú fijo y disfrutamos de nuestras comidas. Mi marido y yo visitamos este restaurante con la familia que visita mucho. Estamos vegetariano, pero no fue ningún problema en absoluto y comimos una deliciosa bruschetta seguido de pasta arrabiata. La comida era fantástica y sin duda lo recomendaría, sin embargo lo que hizo la noche fue la bienvenida que nos dieron. Lo que realmente nos sentimos como si estuviéramos en su casa no es su restaurante.

We had a party of 11 people on Saturday night for an 8.00pm booking. We arrived 10minutes before 8.00pm, so had a drink at the bar. Our orders were taken at 8.20pm and at 8.45pm, 3 of the starters arrived, we anticipated receiving the rest but our 3 friends had finished theirs before ours arrived at 9.05pm. Complimentary bottles of house wine were placed on the table. The main course arrived about 9.15pm so no time to enjoy the evening as it all appeared to be in a rush. I omitted to add that there were no olives or olive oil with the bread which was placed on the table on arrival. My main course, a rack of Lamb consisted of a 2 and half square of lamb with the 2 bones sticking out of it ( hardly a rack ). Vegetables arrived in a 5inch square dish with 3 different choices and another with small roasted potatoes, this was for 4 people. Not a cheap night by any means, main course was £18.00 for the lamb, starter was £7 for a slab of dried lasagne. Couldn't read the menu without the torches on the mobile phone.Didn't bother with sweet. Won't go again

Well where do I start! We went for a meal with a few other people, we had been there 25mins and still no one came to take our order, I had to ask in the end. Half of our party had there starters, had there plates cleared away before the rest of us even got ours! The main meals were brought out, the veg followed about 5mins later. We were given some free wine to compensate us but it wasn't very nice wine. One to tick off our list, a waste of time and money sadly.

Had a really really nice meal here, pancetta covered chicken served with a sauce, roasted potatoes (that we'rent greasy at all) and really well cooked and seasoned vegetables. Love love loved this meal so much, every mouthful was heaven. For pudding, I had the lemon cheesecake which was also divine and as a complimentary offering they left us a plate of chocolates whilst we settled and organised the bill and they were really nice chocolates, Lindt pralines which are my FAVOURITE. Expensive meal, it came in it around £45-£50 for the two of us but it was so worth it!

Me and hubby went to Livios with my bro and sister in law (who had never been before). We were welcomed as soon as we walked in the door and nothing was too much trouble. We were even made up a special dish that we were just enquiring about. Such a lovely atmosphere, gorgeous food but it's the staff who make the visit special. Highly recommend!

Lovely meal at Livios Shepshed with family. Excellent food and friendly helpful service. Good choice of food freshly cooked to order and served hot with good sized portions. Good interesting flavours.The restaurant has character and charm .

Went in a large family group to celebrate a birthday. The welcome, standard of food and service were faultless. The set menu has a good range of choices and is excellent value for money. Well worth a visit and will definitely be returning.

This was our second visit more than a year after our first and it was equally excellent. After a warm welcome in the bar area we then had an authentic freshly prepared meal including lamb and venison which were both cooked superbly. Well done. Highly recommended.

Went here with my mum on 05.02.2016 and had one of the best meals i've had in a long time, Antipasti to start which was amazing. Followed by chicken fried in garlic butter wrapped in parma ham with roasted vegtables and potatoes - absolutely beautiful food. My mum had the Vennison and said it was amazing. Has Enzas tiramisu for desert and it was perfect. Highly recommend and would definitely return.

When I walked in, no one greeted me. In fact I was ignored until I spoke to a hurried waitress who scurried by me. No Italian was spoken. As a student of Italian, I had expected a ciao or a buonasera greeting but nothing! Even though we had booked in advance, we still had to wait 45 minutes to be taken to our table.I ordered the venison and was told it was it had to be served rare, otherwise to cook it any further would spoil the taste. I had never tried venison before, so was interested to try it. When it arrived, it had been sliced up and not all the pieces were rare, the over-cooked slices were tasteless and I was not impressed.The sweets were pricey at £6 and I was expecting home-made tiramisu for that price, but I felt that it was a piece cut from a pre-bought gateau with very little flavour. My friend ordered white chocolate mousse and it arrived with a green liquid floating on the top which had not been mentioned on the menu. On asking the waitress what this was, we got a shrug and a "I dont know, I only serve it". It turned out to be creme de menthe which was disliked by my friend who would not have ordered it if she had known. When we received the bill, we had been overcharged by £9 for bar drinks which we had already paid for.On leaving, we were not offered our change which was poor customer service and practice, needless to say, we did not leave a tip, nor will we rush here again.Only the good company of my friends made the evening worthwhile.

We loved the menu and feel we must go back to try other options on the menu. Starter of pigeon breast was fabulous and main of lamb was beautiful. Dessert of crepe suzette is an old favourite we were pleased to have once again. Friendly, helpful and welcoming, it was a perfect choice for a lovely meal.

Been several times and have never been disappointed. Lovely warm welcome, relaxed bar area to select from the menu and order and you are taken to your table when your food is ready. Friendly attentive service without being overpowering. Food is always freshly cooked and plentiful - but leave some room for a desert as these are all home-made too. Some good mid-week offerings are available for anyone on a budget along with the fixed 3 course menu with wine available Tues to Fri.

This quirky restaurant feels out of place in Shepshed but it's worth a visit. Nice atmosphere and cosy feel. Whilst there are a number of Italian dishes I'd not say this is a typical Italian more continental. That said all the dishes we had (there was 7 of us) were good to excellent and you definitely won't go hungry. I had the pigeon breast starter followed by duck in orange sauce - both were good albeit lacked a little seasoning. Lasagna looked massive and excellent as did the lamb cutlets. Vegetables which came separately were also very good. Service was ok but not overly friendly and the bill won't break the bank

Really annoys me to see the Livios manger in coop buying the reduced to clear items to serve in his restaurant !! Trust me, I visit nightly but see Mr Livio buying out of date goods like strawberries !! I span from a big Italian family that own The Pear Tree in Woodhouse, that's where to take your money !!

My fiancee and I went here having heard good things about the food and we were not disappointed. The welcome and quality of service was excellent and you couldn't feel further away from Shepshed. Do not be fooled by the exterior, once inside you'll be very happy with your Shepshed dining experience!

This is the 2nd time I have been to Livio's as I have family very close by. The service is attentive, helpful and knowledgeable. The wine suggested (poor man's Amaroni!) was perfect with lots of berry flavourThis time we had the set menu and the food was the ideal amount, cooked beautifully and with a tasty sauceI am looking forward to my next visit already

Very good food, mixture of Italian & English food. The menu is not cheap, however Monday to Friday they have a set menu that is very good value for your money. I have never had a bad meal here, it is somewhere that I go for special occasions.

Went to livio's for the first time last night for our wedding anniversary, OMG what an amazing place , the food what delicious , the atmosphere was calm and relaxing , the owner was the nicest man you could wish to meet , we will deffinatly be going back .

Could not rate this restaurant highly enough, from the excellent service to the excellent food and with a decor full of character with the walls covered in really interesting pictures. If you are looking for somewhere for a special celebration look no further.

lovely food, pleasant surroundings (don't be misled by outside) and friendly service. Tasty food and generous portions of lasagne. Two starters and mains, one dessert to share, four drinks, two coffees, total with tip £60.Just needs more clientele, but this is best food for price in the surrounding area.Tasty scallops starter, generous garlic mushrooms, and sufficient for us to leave vegetables and still have small Sunday breakfast !Will return soon to savour crepe suzette prepared at table like the old days!

Our last visit was for Mothering Sunday and the food and service were both excellent. Although this was our most recent visit, we have been dining at Livio's Italian Restaurant for more than ten years for dinner and Sunday lunch and in that time it has never failed. The food is always good and not stinting in quantity and the atmosphere is great. However, the truly outstanding feature is that Livio and Enza never fail to make everyone welcome and accommodate their wishes. Nothing is ever too much trouble.

First time I have eaten here for many many years. I can honestly say the food was delicious, I had lasagne and it was the best ive ever eaten. The staff were very friendly, atmosphere was relaxed and it was lovely and warm. Its a little pricey but worth it. Would definitely visit again for a special occasion.

Had a fabulous meal at this little gem of an Italian restaurant, tucked away in Shepshed, Leicestershire.Enza and her husband, (Proprietors), were brilliant hosts, and their attentive service was excellent.Definitely check them out. We will be going back in the very near future. Well done guys.

We hired Livio's to celebrate my father's 90th birthday and as expected it proved to be a great choice. Having eaten there on a number of previous occasions we knew the food would be great. Quality,quantity, wine list and service second to none in the area. The owners and staff pulled out all the stops to ensure everyone of the 60 guests fully enjoyed the night. A big thank you from all the family to Livio, Enza and all the excellent staff. A night we will always remember.

The food was excellent, hot, tasty and plentiful.We weren't rushed, even though it was almost full and a Saturday night.The restaurant has a small frontage on Hall Street, which is a quiet little dead end street where several roads meet and can be easily missed but it's has a lovely atmosphere.

Tasty homemade-style Italian food, although don't expect pizza. The food is nothing fancy - it has a homemade feel about it. Antipasti starters were tasty but no cooking involved. The duck and sea bass were enjoyed. Cannelloni was a little bit acidic and could have benefitted with a little more cooking to mellow the flavour but still tasty. Vegetables were very ordinary but the courgette and aubergine were not nice at all. Dessert menu not that inspiring but that didn't stop us! Service OK but just the owners looking after a full restaurant so you do need a little patience. The noise of what sounded like steam emanating from the bar area for most of the evening was very annoying.

My wife and I had dinner here on Saturday 20th Sept. In the area from Kent for the week-end, we had no idea where to dine and several places we telephoned were full. Livio's had a table and we gave it a go. I have to say that Shepshed isn't a town that inspires and as we drove closer to the restaurant I began to have serious reservations. But no fear. This is a most welcoming place - parquet flooring, linen table clothes and Victorian décor, the restaurant felt like a private dining experience. The walls are covered in unusual and interesting prints, it's a quirky experience, but most pleasing. The staff were very accommodation and the food was really good. I had a superb lamb shank and my wife, an excellent medium cooked steak. I would certainly return and I would recommend this to friends. Another nice touch - "if we haven't given you enough vegetables, just ask for more". I like that. Deserts were simple, but fresh. A good choice. We were there the same evening as the Baby Shower Party!

We held my daughters baby shower here tonight and can not thank Livios enough. We were made to feel like family not customers and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was delicious and the courses very generous, staff excellent - we never felt rushed or a nuisance, thank you for a wonderful night. My daughter and I will remember it always.

Whilst not a local visited the restaurant for the first time and will be visiting again in the near future. Tasty well presented food that was a pleasure to eat. Lovely atmosphere complimented by attentive hosts who made our family welcome and could not be faulted, Thank you.

We visited this restaurant on Saturday evening. It has a cosy intimate homely feel, whilst Livio is a good host. The atmosphere was brilliant and so was the food. Would recommend it, expensive but lovely all the same.

Lovely place me and my partner have been here quite lot. As living in sheppy quite possibly the best food you could get or even ask for!! Great atmosphere with friendly staff food is gorgeous but not the cheapest but you get what you pay for witch is top quality food...

This was the second time we had visited Livio's and again we were not disappointed. The atmosphere is unbeatable, it so relaxed - really makes you feel at home and your table is yours for the evening so you never feel rushed. The food is fantastic, with so many great items on the menu we can't wait to go back and try more of it. Hats off to the owners, we'll be back soon.

This was our first visit to this authentic family run Italian restaurant and it could not be faulted. The food was home made proper Italian dishes with a few pasta dishes but no Pizza but wonderful in every way; thoroughly recommended. We will be back again soon. Eccellente.

Warm, friendly and personal- with great food, Livios is a little gem. Great for an intimate meal for two or a larger family occasion.

We found this place on an internet search, and booked a table for 2. A nice bar with a small seating area, on entry. We were shown to our table within about 10 minutes of ordering drinks. Basically a house, opened up, with every available inch of wall space crammed with an eclectic range of prints and paintings. We had a lovely meal from a relatively small ( but flexible) menu. The owner and his wife were friendly and efficient, and able to advise on portion sizes and dish choice. We will return.

Our first visit here and will not be our last, we would consider this the best Italian in Loughborough. Absolutely wowed by the food and even more by the outstanding service. Will definitely be visiting regularly and recommending to friends and family. Lots of special touches making it very traditional and homely with a relaxed atmosphere. Recently had the pleasure of trying this restaurant for the first time. I have to say, first impressions made me cautious as it's a little old fashioned inside, but I was wrong.The service was faultless and though we had a large party, the staff worked hard to make sure everyone was attended to. The set menu is excellent value for money with more wine than you knew what to do with.The food itself it really lovely, authentic, served hot and plentiful portions. There were plenty of nice touch's such as bringing out more bread (and not charging for this like some restaurants would) and taking a drinks order in the bar area first, which was pleasant.The only drawback was lack of parking nearby and location, both easily overcome!Would recommend and definitely revisit!

We have been a few times but this meal was by far the best. Relaxing drink in the bar area whilst looking at the menu, shown to the table by friendly welcoming staff. Food hot and tasty, nothing too much trouble. Finished with coffee and chocolates, not rushed at all. Thoroughly enjoyable evening, will definitely return :-)

Always a fantastic atmosphere and great food. Two menus available, a la carte and set menu (Monday to Thursday) both excellent value. A great selection of wines is always available. If you are looking for a friendly place to dine out I would highly recommend Livio's.

Heard about this restaurant from friends who like it. Me wife mother in law and friend went here on the off chance on a Friday to see if we could get a table as our usual superb Numero Due in Castle Donington was fully booked. Got a table starters -meatballs I had which were quite nice (and lots of it) though the tomato sauce was a bit bland, mussels again a bit bland as was the crab salad adequate but not lovely. Mains-venison wasn't actually cooked pink but OK none the less, the sauce was a reddish brown bland concoction, grilled sea bass was without any kind of sauce and just swimming in olive oil whilst we like olive oil it was overpowering and almost used like a sauce the same for the salmon wrapped in parma ham. Service good very friendly owner who I had a chat with about the pictures in the restaurant and the world in general which makes me feel a bit down about this review but it is a food review not one on who owns it. For what we got it was expensive for less cost one gets superb food at Numero Due in Castle Donington (which I've also reviewed on Tripadvisor) on a scale if Numero Due is 10/10 Livios is 4/10 the food is basically bland and expensive. We will not return to Livios and will go for our usual every time as we are spoilt on the Italian food front by Numero Due-sorry a hard act to follow.

If you want a real authentic Italian meal and atmosphere you need to dine here.The restaurant is decorated with traditional Italian style and the dim lit lights and music provide a real relaxed feel. Nothing is too much to ask, the staff will go above and beyond to try and provide what you request. The food is fantastic, with lots of variety and generous portions. There is a lovely bar area with a variety of drinks... The owner even gave us some different shots to try free of charge. Lovely people and a great night out- you can sit late into the night with a bottle of wine and never feel rushed- you must visit!

Having lived in Shepshed for 2 years, this is the first time we have been to Livios & wish we had gone previously. It was a friends birthday and we were not disapointed. A nice selection of dishes on the menu, with something for everyone. The food was superb and the hospitality great. Really liked the atmosphere of the restaurant and would definitely go back. Have already recommended to other friends and told them what a nice time we had & how great the food was.

Just been to livios. Once again amazing reception and service. I took my 9 month old who started getting cranky, so whilst I had my main Enza the owner took him for me! Food was lovely! Such friendly service. Cannot be beaten. This restaurant is a gem!

My friends and I visited Livios last night, 2 of whom had not been before. Again we all had a fantastic three course meal and wine for £23.95 each with an excellent choice on the menu. You are always made to feel welcome, great atmosphere and excellent food where nothing is too much trouble. I highly recommend you give this restaurant a visit and try some home cooked food.

Having heard some great reviews about this local Italian Restuarant my wife and children booked a table to celebrate her birthday. We were not to be disappointed. A proper family run resturant, the service was excellent and very attentive considering especially we visited on a busy Saturday evening. Really there was nothing to fault and we will definately be going back again.

First time at Livio's, will definitely go back. This time it was the Valentine's menu - very reasonably priced (£26.95 including a welcome Prosecco) compared with other restaurants in the area. Good quality food, nicely presented, gentle and friendly service - far from the bustle and arrogance in some places.

From the time you walk through the door until you leave you feel that the whole time was for you alone. You get a great typical Italian welcome from Livio himself and in no time at all you feel perfectly at ease and you feel right away that nothing will be too much bother. When tou are seated at your table then the choice of menu and the standard of the food presented is just superb. Livio's taglitelle starter is just so good and the sauce so very subtle. I had the finest piece of venison that I have ever had and believe me I have had a lot of venison and as for the sweets just sublime. I have yold livio on many an occassion that he only married Enza his lovely wife because of her Tiramisu which is truly wonderful though not for the calorie concious . This is the best restarant in |Shepshed by a mile and the best Italian cuisine in the County.

The atmosphere is excellent, the quality of the food is superb and the price is very reasonable. I would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to anyone, it has a very personal touch with Livio and Enza making you feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble. You can sit by the bar before or after your meal and have excellent conversations with Livio and Enza and the other diners.

Been to Livios many times. Weekday menu is great value for money. The owners are lovely. When I was pregnant I really craved garlic mushrooms, even though they weren't on the menu they made them for me! I couldn't finish my main (had to have the amazing tiramusu) so they boxed it up so I could take it home! When I gave birth I came with my son, he got a little fed up so whilst I ate the owner took him off me and looked after him! What more could you ask for!!

Been to Livio's Italian Restaurant several times now and will never tire of the place. Great home cooked food, good selection of wines and excellent deserts especially Enza's Tiramisu!The atmosphere is homely and transforms you into a sixties film set. If you are into films - stay behind and have a conversation with Livio into the small hours of the morning. He is a fanatic on anything celluloid!

I am not sure wether "Bonesarsenal" went to the same Livio's as we did on Sunday, there are many others in the country with the same name. Nine of us had a great sunday lunch, ages from 12 to 89 was catered for, the service was excellent, the quality of the food could not be faltered the chefs did a brilliant job. I booked Livio's Shepshed to hold my Golden wedding aniverisery and found it to be the best restaurant I have ever been to. The atmosphere was great the quality of the food was unbelievable and the price was most reasonable. I would have no hesitation in recommending this establishment to anyone, it has a very personal touch with Livio doing crepe suzette's at the table, nothing is too much trouble, any special diatry requirements are catered for. I am from the local area and have been to Livio's several times. The food is most certainly not expensive, mid-week menus are well-priced and given the portion-sizes of every dish, spending around £30 for a freshly-made 3-course meal doesn't seem that expensive to me. "Bonesarsenal", perhaps a 2 for £6 Wetherspoon's meal will be a better option for you next time?The food is all made to order, a-la-carte and very fresh. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, they accommodate any dietary requirements you have and are always very kind and friendly, every time I go the owner remembers me and really treats me like a valued customer. All desserts are homemade, the tiramisu is delicious :-) The atmosphere is warm and the service welcoming.What more could you ask for at that price?

Always a warm welcome, if you want something better than pub food and don't mind playing a little more this is the place, whether it be a Sunday lunch, weekend night out or a special occasion.

You will always get a welcome at Livios. The food is consistently good but not amazing but it will never disappoint. Much better than most of the local pubs so definitely worth a visit. They will go that extra mile to please.

I have been to Livio's on several occasions and have always found the food and service superb. I cannot recommend this restaurant enought the homemade Tiramisu is amazing, the staff are very personable and friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. One not to be missed.

I have now eaten in Livios 3 times in the past year and its always been "nice" but nothing amazing!First time was for my boyfriends birthday and the atomoshpere was amazing! we were greated by a lovely smiley happy chap who showed us to our seats chatted about the menu and even asked if it was a special occasion! I didnt mind paying above the odds on this occasion as the service more than made up for the lack of quality food. (they even sang to him happy birthday!!!)Second and third time I left feeling rather disapointed, the food was at best mediocore and very average! the panacotta was over set and more jelly like than creamy they ran out of most the desserts!! I wont be in a rush to return as would rather waste my money on quality food

This was the best italian meal i have had in a long time, the service was great, the food was great, the atmosphere was great and i really enjoyed myself. More for special occasions but really reasonable for the price. Cant wait to go again,
