The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Italian food

Took the family (12 people) to celebrate a birthday. Staff were brilliant and friendly and the food was great. Would recommend to anyone to visit and try fresh, tasty food. Thank you for making this birthday special.

Mrs P's Luxury Ice Cream and Coffee House is a hidden gem. We've called in on numerous occasions with our 4 your old grandson on the way back from The Little Lancashire Village in Rawtenstall. The approach to the shop is a little steep but there's a large free car park at the top of the hill that usually has spaces available. Mr's P's has a great selection of ice cream and sometimes has "guest" flavours available. On our most recent visit they were doing a Halloween themed flavour containing treacle, it was delicious. Our grandson usually takes ages to pick as there's so much choice! Seating is available if you want a coffee with your ice cream.

After a chilly walk in the park and a fun hike, our family found the perfect place to relax and enjoy a warm meal. The hosts were incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome. The kids started their day with the most amazing hot chocolate—rich, creamy, and sweet, just perfect for warming them up. Meanwhile, we enjoyed delicious cappuccinos to kickstart the day. For lunch, the smoked ham soup with vegetables was a real standout—hearty, flavorful, and comforting after the cold weather. The kids also loved their sandwiches—fresh, tasty, and just the right size to fill them up. And of course, we couldn’t leave without trying the red velvet cake. It was soft, sweet, and absolutely delightful—a perfect end to our meal. This place offered everything we needed: delicious food, a warm atmosphere, and the friendliest hosts. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area!

Great tasting wood fired Pizza! Relaxed atmosphere, reasonable price. Daniele the manager has excellent customer service skills and will do everything to make sure the customer is 100% happy. Our favourite pizza place.

Fantastic restaurant, perfect ambience. Lovely welcoming staff , could not be more helpful. The food was absolutely outstanding and will be returning very soon .

Tuvimos una cena maravillosa aquí. Nuestra intención era comer el menú pero fueron tentados por las ofertas y a la carta que no subieran los precios.

Ordered a takeaway this week for my daughter’s birthday and was not disappointed. The servings were so big each dish came in two containers and the food was hot and fresh as always. I am a regular to this restaurant and always have a positive experience whether it be with family or friends. Would highly recommend as it’s a lovely atmosphere and the staff are always accommodating and so friendly.

This is a really nice cafe. IMO the best coffee in Surbiton and with a nice seating area - which I guess not many people know about. The pastries are easily the best in Surbiton. Bit of a gem.

Un lugar bastante peculiar, con algunos platos interesantes y un delicatessen bien surtido, aunque no podía hablar con el personal en italiano porque los que me atendían no eran italianos. Sorprendentemente, por el tipo de lugar que es, además, también tiene algunos de los mejores vinos italianos que se ofrecen (sobre todo un Sassicaia de 2010 ! ) pero estos se mantienen vergonzosamente, como se muestra en la foto adjunta. Realmente imperdonable. Nemmeno immaginabile!

Wide menu and lots to choose from. Pizzas, pasta and selection of meat dishes. Friendly proprietor. We always have attentive service. Regular visitors

Excellent pizzas, even accommodating my dislike of cheese. Little pricy, but will pay for quality. Only downside is that we returned to collect, after ordering in person, at time specified only to wait 5-10 minutes. No queue as we were there at opening time, so 1st customers.

Sigo volviendo a este lugar. Tiene muchas promesas. La comida es buena y el menú combina los clásicos con un puñado de platos un poco más experimentales. Esta vez tuvimos los panes, aceitunas, bruschetta, plato mixto, burrata, calabaza y queso de cabra, algunas ensaladas y cosas y dos platos de pasta y ragu. Uno de los cuales era el clásico canelón 'alla nonna'. Para mí, los canelones estaban un poco húmedos y demasiado cocidos. El plato mixto de carnes y quesos realmente golpeó el punto, entre otras cosas porque no retuvo la cantidad! En general, grandes sabores, un servicio bueno, amable y servicial y una carta de vinos interesante y bastante decente, aunque un toque caro. La vergüenza era que para cuando entramos en el swing, éramos casi la única gente allí. Muy bien, era una noche de mitad de semana a mediados de noviembre. Sin embargo, el lugar está pensado como un típico italiano de barrio y, por alguna razón, no parecía atraer a los lugareños.

Lovely ambience in hotel - bit bemused to see someone waiting on tables so casually dressed in shorts -starter was tasty and well presented - mackerel pate - could have done with one more slice of bread - good selection of vegetables well cooked with main but beef was a n]bit tough - cheese and biscuits were good - wine by the glass was expensive

Why did this place take an on line booking, confirm it,, AND NOT Tell us you were CLOSED!!!! Angry. Cost us a taxi fare and a ruined evening
