This restaurant has such a lovely garden with seating in full sun or shade. I had a delicious small plate capanata and my husband rated the American pizza “very solid” - a huge compliment from him

I had dinner here with a friend last week & was so impressed I felt compelled to write a review. We found the staff to be friendly and attentive (even though they were busy). The restaurant was atmospheric and the food was delicious. Beautiful pizzas on their signature charcoal base. I'll be back for sure!

The (fairly) newly expanded beer garden is a beautiful spot for evening dining and we had a delicious pizza and a thoroughly enjoyable visit. The staff are friendly and service is swift and efficient, their pizzas are a local tourist attraction, thank you 😊

We visited Piazza Della Cucina last night for my Mum's birthday. As a group of 13 (with ages ranging from 10 to 80) pleasing everybody is no mean feat, but the friendly staff pulled this off effortlessly. Tasty and authentic Pizza and Pasta washed down with excellent house red. Desserts delighted children and adults alike.. and they made a fuss of my Mum on her birthday. This is our new favourite restaurant in the area!

My first visit to this restaurant with my sister who has eaten here before. The service was delightful and it was warm and cosy. We were greeted with complimentary Prosecco as it was Mother’s Day. The home made tagliatelle followed by chocolate brownie was absolutely delicious. I live a little way away but I will make sure it becomes my local eaterie. A lovely evening.

I visited Piazza yesterday evening with my partner to give him a rest from cooking. Upon arriving we were greeted very welcomingly and shown to our table. We were given menus and our drinks arrived immediately. We ordered straight away as we both knew what we were having and as always the food was delicious. I had bolognese and the portion size was just right and my partner also had pasta and we shared some garlic bread which was huge but very tasty. All social distancing rules were in place and there was plenty of hand sanitiser everywhere and the staff were all wearing masks. We had a wonderful meal, which was made even better with the promotion which is in place Tuesday to Thursday giving 50% of food if you purchase a drink from the bar. I have visited many times and have always been happy to pay full price as the food is always amazing but getting the discount is such a good gesture from the restaurant in these times where everyone is struggling.

The carbonara had too much sauce. I'm not sure what ingredients are used to make it but, there was more sauce than anything else, small portion of pasta and even less bacon/pancetta. There appeared to be a big dollop of creme fraiche on the top of the pasta, which made it taste bland, even with added black pepper and Parmesan. Usually this is great, but today wasn't good

Bizarre customer service experience. We were met by a curt waitress who informed us we had to pay up front due to the eat out to help out discount. Stupidly, I included a tip on my payment. Orders were taken on a handheld device. Drinks arrived, ok so far. 1 hour 20mins no sign of the starters, the olives must have been flown in. Apparently, the WiFi was not working and the order had not reached the kitchen. Strange as drinks went through ok. Start again, using old school pen and paper. 3 out of 4 starters arrived, then eventually the mains. Throughout, the blonde waitress showed a remarkable lack of interest. Food was ok.

This is the third Sunday lunch we’ve had here in the past 6 months and for the third time the food has been so tasty. We love the Caponata (Aubergine Sicilian stew) and the pizza’s are to die for. I especially love the organic vegetable charcoal pizza base. Olga who has served us each time is brilliant, very hospitable and excellent with our children. Thank you and we look forward to future visits.

This is a little gem of a restaurant tucked away in a corner of south east London near Hither Green station. The food is reasonably priced - and delicious - and the service impeccable. The ambience is just right. We were served by both a young man, who was polite and attentive, and Mimmo, who seemed to be both friendly maitre d' and chef,. Mimmo proudly told us about the high quality ingredients the restaurant uses, and the way the kitchen employs a traditional Neapolitan, slow fermentation process for their pizza dough. This means they can use less yeast (potentially making the pizza easier to digest). In any case, the pizzas and pasta and salads all went down a treat. He also joked with us about how his daughter, a pâtissière, insists he make all the choux pastry for the desserts from scratch, even though it means it coming in two hours early. (Our table duly wolfed down the chocolate desserts, which were pronounced wonderful.) He also offered tips on pasta and on the best flours for making pizza to a keen cook among us and was generally helpful and informative without being pushy. We all left saying we want to go back soon.

Busy, popular restaurant with great range of choices and particularly amazing breads. Had three courses, including meat and cheese platters for starters, which were lovely. Specials board a little difficult to read (light in way/behind me) - would be nice to have a printed version. Excellent mains, but disappointing tiramisu as sponge fingers were quite dry, which made them chewy - could have done with a Tia Maria poured over them. Overall a great, tasty meal with lovely staff giving a very warm welcome. Bit of a draughty as the front door is opened frequently for customers, and especially delivery bikes picking up collections, but no way round this really. Will be very happy to return again.

First time I've ever been to this charming little park...on a beautiful sunny morning I spotted this cafe & thought fabulous I'll have a coffee. As I entered I was putting my mask on and one of the strings broke the mask was still covering my face as I was holding it. To my SHOCK I look up & this man behind the counter (the owner I think) which was at least 2 metres away wearing a mask himself starts to SHOUT AT ME!! The way in which this man spoke to me was actually shocking I've been reading some of the other reviews an this seems to be a reoccurring theme. In this time when so many businesses are struggling we as consumers have a choice were we spend our money and many of us choose to try and support local businesses...this one WONT get my support..this man is a RUDE & is going the right way about ruining his own business
