Myra Restaurant in City of London, Westminster

Booked this for a friends birthday - service was very slow and no refill of water or ask if we wanted more drink. Main course was very average and extremely small portions for the price - my partner was left feeling very hungry after a very small portion of calves liver. The mixed grill was not very hot and the rice sticky - shame as it looked nice from reviews. An expensive meal for not a lot of food and was left feeling disappointed.

I stumbled across this restaurant when I was early to an event and needed somewhere to sit and have a drink whilst I waited for a friend. The manager was incredibly welcoming and friendly and let me sit with a glass of wine even though I hadn’t booked and wasn’t eating. I thought the food being served looked great. A wonderful atmosphere- can’t wait to come back here again for a meal!

This restaurant is such a hidden gem! I love it here, the food is always perfect. The Caesar salad with salmon was delicious, I have it every time. My friend had the chicken mushroom which was also delicious- she even wanted the recipe! All the sides and starters are great, I have been here so many times and will continue to come back as it never disappoints. The food really is the best. The ambience inside the restaurant is fabulous also, and our service by Burak was even better- he has served me every time and is very friendly and helpful. More people need to know about this fabulous restaurant.

Was really lovely food. Had a deal on pasta or pizza so was really reasonable and tasted delicious. I’d recommend to anyone passing for a quick meal in lovely atmosphere. The owner was lovely too.

I don't often leave reviews but this one is absolutely necessary. We picked this restaurant to meet some family whilst we were in London, the online reviews were good so it seemed like a safe bet...how wrong we were. Accepting the fact that dining in London is generally expensive compared to elsewhere, this seemed fairly priced (£18-£25) main course, however having now eaten here I wouldn't go back whatever the cost - even free food wouldn't tempt me! I have eaten in many, many restaurants and I can say hands down this was up there with the worst of them. The portion sizes were small, perhaps forgivable if the food were tasty but definitely not the case here. It was a small plate of awful food. I was under no illusions, and wasn't expecting fine dining but what was being served up was, in parts, barely edible. I could go into so much detail about seasoning, presentation, items missing, undercooked fries, lack of accompaniments etc but all I really need to say is that nobody, not one waiter, came over to ask how our food was...says it all really, they knew it was terrible. All in all a horrid experience, couldn't get out of there fast enough. We left hungry, and angry at what we'd been served. Needless to say would never return.

Ne pas se fier au bon commentaire tout est fade 30 minutes d’attente pour ça une pizza surgelée/réchauffer des frites très/trop salé et pas du tout croustillante, un accueil pas très agréable.

Not friendly at all. Waited ages to get served ( 3 people after us were served before us )No seasoning what so ever i reckon my shoe has more flavour than there food. I ordered Garlic bread , calamari and halloumi. Garlic bread was average , I got 4 pieces of calamari that was like eating rubber,no salt and the halloumi was the same , 3 pieces of hallumi . I then got a Burger and mushroom risotto , burger was over cooked and no seasoning , it was half the size of the bun the tomato was also a tiny tomato and i got one piece of lettuce , my cheese (plastic cheese) wasn’t melted and later on he saw it on my plate and gave a tiramisu on the house due to seeing my plastic slice of cheese still on the plate . The risotto was overcooked mush and had no seasoning ( my dogs food looks and tastes better) we had to ask for salt and almost used the entirety of the salt due to being so bland . Coke i ordered was the only thing keeping me going . We then ate the on the house tiramisu and it was average then to find out that it wasn’t even made in house . Asked for the bill twice . Cucina mediterranea tra il turco, il greco e l'italiano, detto così farebbe pensare, soprattutto a noi italiani, a uno di quei posti dove non si mangia bene e invece ci siamo trovati benissimo, la pasta era davvero buona e cotta adeguatamente (una carbonara e una al pomodoro). Buono anche l'hummus e i falafel. Prezzi corretti. Consigliato.

The staff were attentive and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The menu offered a great variety of Mediterranean food. We ordered the sea bass and chicken schnitzel which was well cooked, full of flavour and tasted amazing. The selection of dessert was great will plenty of choice to suit all.
