Absolutely amazing food and service - our booking was cancelled and the staff were able to accommodate us and make the experience amazing - Rayna was an the best host and all the staff were so helpful with us with recommendations for the local area as we aren’t from here. 10/10! Sophie was also the best!

Visited for the first time with friends last Saturday. Well, the food and the service were both excellent. The welcome and service were so friendly and the food was above expectations. House Rose delicious! Starter amazing. Main course was great and the dessert was great too. Can’t wait to return.

We frequented Otto over the Easter weekend and would certainly recommend it for others. We had pizza one evening which was good, albeit on the thinner side of our preference it was certainly enjoyable. One slight note, maybe the order wasn't taken correctly, but out side dip never arrived. (We didn't raise an issue as it didn't seem worth it, plus we had started eating etc). Breakfast(s) were really good too, which was welcomed as our original self-catering plan was cancelled at the last minute. The food and service both ticked the box, no issues there. Our only comment on the negative front would be the abundance of dogs at breakfast service, seemingly present at most tables, and in some cases, sitting on the dining seats. We appreciate it's a personal preference on that front...

Recomiendo.

Easy to find, on the main road, with a small car park behind, there is street parking nearby. The menu is as you would expect in a good Italian restaurant. The service was smooth and efficient, albeit slightly muted from the young staff. N.B. The toilets are up several steps so not easily accessible to everyone. There were four of us. 3 of us had starters, all 4 of us had mains and a drink or two. The food was nicely presented and very tasty, and was exactly as we expected from an Italian restaurant. Everyone enjoyed their food. The bar stocks the usual drinks, priced as expected ( gin £7.50, pint of peroni £5.70 etc) with a couple of alcohol free options available. All sides (fries, salsa, vegetables etc.) are extra to the mains. The bill came to £122 so not the cheapest out there, big eaters and drinkers could spend a lot more. However, there is an early bird menu during the week that looked to offer good value. Overall it was a very enjoyable visit and we would eat there again.

I walk past Maurizio's often but haven't eaten there for many years. On an impromptu night out we enjoyed an excellent dinner. The food was authentic and the veal delicious, with fresh vegetable and huge portions. Several people took home the remains of their food, especially pizza. It would be nice to have a bigger choice of house wine by the glass. The restaurant looks very pretty with a tree in the middle, but the unfinished woodwork would benefit from a coat of paint. When full or with a large group it was noisy as there are no soft furnishings to absorb the sound. It is very popular at the weekends so you need to book. A good local dinner.

Lovely service and atmosphere. Very reasonable prices. Great portion sizes. Food packed with flavour, only niggle is the iceberg lettuce (rocket & water cress shoots would have tipped this to a 5*) and no aioli with the corvette flowers, but lovely flavours running through all dishes.

authentic Italian restaurant with lots of charm & traditional vibes. The early bird 2 course menu is excellent value for money at £13.50 pp with all the classic dishes on. We opted for the regular menu, i had the calamari fritters & sea bass with mushroom ravioli ( was lobster on menu but they had run out). The fish was cooked to perfection & the ravioli was amazing in the red pepper sauce. My partner had panzenolle ( probably spelt that wrong but it was pieces of pizza dough with a garlic mayo dip ) & steak diane. He said the steak was one of the best he had, very tender. The restaurant was full, which apparently it is mostly, good atmosphere & lots of attentive staff. very good👍
