6 of us had 3 courses from the bistro menu and all agreed it was faultless. Can highly recommend cheese soup, beef and vincenzo mess.

Visited here for the 2nd time on a blustery afternoon and blown away with the quantity and quantity of the food at this restaurant. The black pudding with peppercorn sauce was delicious and the peppercorns popped in your mouth with an explosion of subtle spice that lingered. The chicken risotto was a taste sensation and because it was Christmas I had the sprout and Chestnut carbonara. Wow. I am a meat lover but this was just amazing and so brilliantly different and well thought out. One of the best afternoons and Barbara was a joy to speak too. First class and massive compliments to the chef.....cannot wait to return!!

We came here on 2nd December and I think we were the first bottomless brunch through the door. Absolutely amazing from start to finish - Sevrin was exceptional and we didn’t have an empty glass. The food, as always, was absolutely amazing and portions weee huge. Thank you for a lovely day x

Another amazing meal at Vincenzos this evening x we had Italian sausage with mash and onion gravy and haddock and chips followed by white chocolate cheese cake with rasps and cream and 2 Peroni's - all were amazing x I've been eating at Vincenzos (our local restaurant) since they opened many years ago and the quality of the food, fantastic staff and warm welcome are FAB and all at very reasonable prices which cater for all budgets. Would deffo recommend a visit and can't wait to return, many thanks Vincenzos for another lovely visit x

Vincenzo's is a real gem. Tucked away, just off Chillingham Road, always friendly and always serving excellent food. Mostly Italian, not just pizzas and Pasta, but also excellent meat and fish dishes, plus, of course, desserts.

I’ve been coming here for over 20 years, and we love it!! All the usual pizza/pasta favourites, but they also do a smashing range of 2 and 3 course bistro dishes featuring favourites like fish n chips and sausage and mash. Very reasonably priced. Not on the main road, but easy to find, next to Trewhitt road community centre - definitely worth a visit if you’re in Heaton…

Visited today for the first time, we’ll definately return as the food was delicious. Initially came because we’d seen their weekly specials advertised which included mozzarella in caruzzo, which hardly anywhere serves, we weren’t disappointed! OH had steak in au poive sauce, which he was very happy with, good quality steak and a good sauce, I had the lasagne, one of the nicest lasagnes I’ve had in years, just disappointed that I couldn’t finish it all. Lovely wine and excellent service, highly recommend and will be back to try more of the menu 😁

Had an absolutely beautiful lunch from the Bistro Menu. Everything was extremely tasty and fresh. It’s a long time since I visited here as I moved away from the area and to be honest, it’s the best meal that I have had in a long while. Excellent value, I honestly don’t know how they can provide this standard of food for the money that they charge. Lovely staff too.

Small Italian with a nice layout and ambience. Staff very friendly and a wide range of options on the menu, for vegetarians too which is a great perk! Portion sizes good and food alright - could’ve done with a bit more sauce (in calzone and on pasta) rather than a mash-up of vegetables with minimal sauce. Service was a bit slow for not being the busiest either. Glad to have been.

Visited tonight. Great menus to choose from, including themed Halloween . Chose from the Vincenzo special. I had duck salad to start which was fab. The duck was nicely shredded with hazelnuts on a bed of mixed leaves with a lovely balsamic glaze. For my main course I chose the rolled chicken breast which was stuffed with a very tasty goats cheese wrapped in Parma ham and served on a lovely Napoli sauce. The vegetables were piping hot. All absolutely delicious. I defy anyone to get a better meal at such excellent prices. Thank you for a super meal.

We went here a couple of times as 'Pepe's' and also when it first changed to Vicenzos and to be honest, were completely underwhelmed.But reading the recent reviews and based on a recommendation we gave it another go - and totally glad we did.It was a completely different experience. We ordered a variety of dishes and they were all delicious.The battered brie was outstanding. All the other dishes were similarly good. I'll definitely be back.

El servicio fue excelente y nos hizo sentir tan seguros en estos tiempos de covid preocupantes. Este pequeño italiano local es un hallazgo increíble y nunca sabrías que estaba allí, ya que está fuera de lo común. El personal era encantador y muy servicial cuando preguntamos sobre opciones sin gluten. Aunque este restaurante parece anticuado (especialmente los baños), no debería ser juzgado por esto.La comida era excelente y el chef vino y nos preguntó cómo era la base sin gluten (una de las mejores que he probado). Was great before lockdown and is still top notch! I had the three course menu and it was cooked perfectly and delicious in every way. If you are in Newcastle this is where you need to eat, it’s the best Italian in Newcastle!

From the minute we walked through the door it was fantastic. The food was sublime, I had the pate and the chicken in peppercorn sauce. My husband had potato skins and a volcanic pizza. Perfection. We will most certainly be back. Thanks again The bill was less than £40 too , amazing ❤️

Este es un pequeño restaurante encantador fuera del centro de la ciudad pero aún muy accesible.He estado aquí 3 veces y no me ha decepcionado. La comida es buena y el servicio es excelente.Tienen una habitación en el piso de arriba que se puede reservar para fiestas más grandes de aproximadamente 20, lo que no solo le brinda la privacidad para disfrutar de su fiesta, sino que también mantiene el restaurante principal libre del ruido de un grupo más grande.Reservamos la habitación para el cumpleaños de mi hija y tuvimos una celebración maravillosa, el personal fue genial, excelente servicio al cliente. Went to the restaurant recently with my husband and my in laws. Service was spot on, attentive but not intrusive. Food came very quickly after we ordered. I had the pate to start and then the beef in a spicy tomato sauce both were delicious with very generous portions. Would definitely go again.

Took the family for a birthday treat. Food was reasonable but we had 3 people serving us who confused each other.I used dine club, which apparently made the bill more expensive. Saved me a decent tip and I will never go there again.

Visited Vincenzos on Saturday 21st September for dinner with my wife and daughter. We booked quite late on the day but Vincenzos were very helpful in accommodating us at short notice. The welcome was very friendly and the service through the the evening was excellent. The food, as on previous visits to this restaurant, was excellent and enjoyed by all of us. The value for money is first class. We will definitely be returning on our future visits to Newcastle.

We booked a table for a birthday celebration, being local to the area. We received a warm greeting and were seated quickly. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the time between ordering our food and it arriving was perfect. The food itself was amazing and the staff were really accommodating (they did half and half!), even getting involved in our nerdy Star Wars craic! We used our Meerkat code and between the 6 of us, each got 2 courses. In addition, we all had alcohol, and the value for money was absolutely outstanding. We are so pleased it's only on our doorstep as we will definitely be back! Thanks for a great night!

We visited on Tuesday night for the first time. We were welcomed by a lovely lady and young gentleman who explained the menu. We ordered garlic mushrooms and mussels for starters and steak and belly pork for main. The food was perfectly cooked and the service was exceptional the lady who served us was so friendly, nothing was a trouble to her and she even sat down for a chat at the end of the meal. Our first visit but definitely not the last.

Just ordered a takeaway from this amazing restaurant starter and main it was hot when I collected it and it was delicious both dishes, I’m so glad I discovered this place..had food with my daughter inside a couple of times and the takeaway was just as good amazing food great atmosphere when sitting in Thanku

Friendly and welcoming, the restaurant was buzzing on a Tuesday night. The food is excellent, a great choice and really good value. Nice bottle of red wine to top it off. We had a lovely evening and will be back soon. Worth going out of your way.

I live near to Vincenzo's and they have never ever let me down. I find it a cosy and friendly restaurant to eat at, and the food is always excellent and reasonably priced. This is definitely a happy place for me, and I have brought many friends and family members here over the years.

This is a restaurant that I keep going back to as the staff and food are both excellent. The menu choices are really good and the staff are always happy to point out the daily specials.

Excellent food and very friendly, we arrived with no booking on a busy Monday evening, but we were seated in minutes.

I am very fond of this restaurant due to its simplicity and food but I was very disappointed on my last visit as my pork belly was inedible. The manager was very gracious and no big fuss made but I feel the owners need to know that something went really wrong that night. I am not put off going next time in town.

What a joy and delight. Visited Vincenzo’s on Friday(21/06/2019) with a touch of trepidation, not my usual sort of place within minutes my mind was changed. It all started with a happy friendly greeting and got better every second. The staff were happy and helpful they gave us complete satisfaction without any hesitation. Sammy and Helen were a attentive but unobtrusive. The food is fabulous served on warmed plates straight from the kitchen. There was a wide selection on the menu, it was clean and relaxing if a little warm at first (air conditioner kicked in fairly quickly).

Un grupo de 12 adultos disfrutó de comidas calientes de calidad con un servicio amable y eficiente. Una persona tuvo que irse temprano pero fue acomodada con sopa servida muy rápidamente. Otro servicio fue más pausado pero perfectamente aceptable. Todos los platos principales se sirvieron juntos y todos se disfrutaron a fondo. El bar / servicio de bebidas también era excelente. Estoy informado por un miembro del grupo que este lugar es también muy familiar. También hay un comedor en la planta superior. El estacionamiento no fue un problema, con estacionamiento ilimitado en la calle alrededor del lugar.

Nos unimos a un grupo de alrededor de 20 personas para celebrar el 80 cumpleaños de un amigo cercano de la familia en Vincenzos en Newcastle. La ubicación de la esquina en una zona residencial fue una sorpresa total, por lo que los recién llegados no deberían pensar, como nosotros, que su navegador por satélite ha fallado. !

Tomó madre para el almuerzo del día de la madre. Establecer el menú en el lugar donde puede elegir 2 o 3 cursos. El menú nos dio una muy buena elección y atendieron por completo a mi madre, ya que les habíamos informado que era alérgica a los hongos y esto no fue un problema.

It had been some time since our last meal here and we booked a table for 7.00pm on a busy Friday night. We had to wait a few minutes for a table to be cleared as the restaurant was very busy. Once seated we were quickly served by two nice waitresses. We had a glass of house red wine and for starters we ordered Calamari with garlic and white wine sauce, and a chestnut salad. For mains we both ordered the Salmon and asparagus penne with a cream sauce. This was very pleasant but could have done with just a little more sauce. Other than that we both enjoyed our two courses. We will certainly return and are happy to recommend this family run restaurant to others eating out in Newcastle.

I had my 80th Birthday Party there on Saturday March the 23rd. My son Richy organised it for me and its was amazing.

We attended a surprise 40th get together upstairs in Vincenzo's . Parked with ease outside of the restaurant. Greeted by 2 approachable males. They showed us upstairs. Offer of drinks was prompt. Plenty of choice on the menu, different price ranges, veggie, vegan and gluten free options. Everyone in our party was accommodated. Food was delish, fresh and well served. Price was also reasonable. Card can also be used. Thank you I'd definitely recommend and visit again.

A truly lovely Italian with fantastic staff who make sure that you are happy and comfy. There is never too long a wait for food no matter how busy it is. The most lovely food, I have never had a bad meal, you can come over and over and because they have specials you can try different things each time. I especially love the cheesecake and panacotta of the week, it is often hard to choose between them!! The prices are very reasonable with a set menu and a happy hour.

This is a local place. Very pleasant staff. The food is nice, although not always fresh, a lot of it is frozen and microwaved, but still has great taste and flavour.

I had the pleasure of dining at Vincenzo’s this past weekend for my anniversary with my better half.

Fui a este restaurante con mi esposo y mi hijo, mi hijo reservó ya que vive cerca. Desde el momento en que llegamos supe que estábamos en un lugar especial, el lugar estaba lleno de gente. A pesar de esto, nos enseñaron nuestra mesa y pedimos bebidas mientras mirábamos el menú.

Ubicado en y entre las terrazas de Heaton, este pequeño bistró italiano vale la pena buscarlo. !

Primera vez aquí y como era sábado reservamos. Pedimos 7. 30 pm y les dijo que podían hacerlo antes o después, así que reservaron para las 7 pm. ¡Comemos mucho! Así que siempre estoy seguro de que puedo calificar los lugares de manera justa y honesta. No parecía demasiado ocupado mientras estábamos allí. Tenía jamón de Parma y mozzarella para mi primer plato, era bastante normal. Opté por una pizza y, para empezar, faltaban los pimientos. No me molesté en ser honesto y realmente no me gustó devolverlo para esperar otra vez. Mi principal problema era que realmente no era una pizza muy buena. Pepperoni y chile básicamente y el chile que significa hojuelas de chile. Ambos comentamos que sabemos de dónde podemos mejorar mucho. La masa de pizza era pesada bajo la cobertura y simplemente no es agradable. Noté que la comida tampoco parecía estar tan caliente aquí cuando la traían a la mesa.

Un secreto oculto en Heaton: si no has estado, te has perdido una gema. Hemos estado varias veces y hemos disfrutado de deliciosas comidas cada vez. Hicieron un especial para nosotros que era increíble. Nada dramático solo buena comida con solo un pequeño giro. El propietario y el personal muy servicial, nada demasiado problema. Decoración y diseño a la perfección. Precios tan razonables también. Aparcamiento cercano. El único problema es que vivimos a varios cientos de millas de distancia.

Otra gran comida en nuestro restaurante local. Ternera estofada con una encantadora selección de verduras recién cocinadas, como papas salteadas, nabos, judías verdes y zanahorias con bastón, seguido de lío eton y regado con peroni embotellado y oveja negra. A pesar de probar otros lugares para comer en la ciudad y en Heaton, siempre regresamos, ya que Vincenzos es muy acogedor y nunca nos decepciona con comida de gran calidad a un buen precio con un servicio excelente. Been coming here for a couple of years now on and off and it’s fair to say it has become one of my favourite places to eat - if you want the usual pizza and pasta they do that very well but they also have a really good choice of other dishes as well - baked goats cheese and breadcrumb chicken are my current favourites. What a lovely little gem this is, the food is amazing, the restaurant beautiful and the staff are excellent. We had the best waitress you could ask for she even helped us with our little baby who was a bit noisy! Now that’s service! Visited here for dinner with my wife on a Saturday night. The staff were very friendly and efficient, The Itallian meal was very tasty and the quality of the cooking was good. I would recommend the Chicken with creamy wine sauce.

We had the pleasure of eating here on Wednesday. The guys both went for the potato skin starter however as they complain whenever I cook fish at home so rarely do it now I indulged in the fish dishes here. The fresh lobster ravioli with king prawn and dill, limoncello cream sauce was delicious (so good that had I been at home I would have licked the plate!) I had the sea bass with mussels as a main and again it was delicious. The young man said that his pizza was the best that he'd had in Newcastle and my other half's steak was cooked to perfection. Vincenzo's is a lovely, cosy family run restaurant and I would highly recommend it. Looking forward to our next visit.

Decided to try this little Cafe style Italian again. Really friendly lovely food really quaint night out. Recommended for anyone wanting a lovely tea in a small friendly Italian. We had a selection of pasta dishes all very enjoyable. Try it.

this restraunt is amazing, the food, and staff are amazing. The thing that I choose the most within the restaurant, is either the calzone, or the penne aribeetta. The staff are kind, freindly, and welcoming. i would defo go back !!!

I love this place. The food is amazing and the staff are so friendly and nice. We are not local so only came across this restaurant by a Groupon deal and have returned another 3 times since and each time it is perfect. The food is fresh, unpretentious and so tasty...just wish it was nearer to where we live!

For a recent visit to Newcastle I checked out somewhere to eat ourvevening meal. Quite a distance from the city center this family run restaurant was busy but had a great atmosphere. It was obvious that there is lots a return business with new patrons and regulars made to feel very welcome. The food was good and reasonably priced. Groupon vouchers accepted and sold on site and additions can be made for individuals or, for the more romantic to share with a coupke of spoons.

Service was really attentive and chatty adding to the comfortable atmosphere- really nice food with loads of choice (especially for vegetarians), really good pricing, and good portion sizes

Called in very early in the evening, for a meal with some family, nice little place, very friendly staff and great food, had a calabria sliced beef dish with rice, slightly spicy but very nice, my wife had risotto, which she said was lovely.

My family,16 of us were here on Saturday night for my dads surprise 60th and ive got to say the service and food were excellent! We had the whole of upstairs just for us which made it extra special.We will definitely be back especially to have the steak which was the best i've tasted and just melted in the mouth.

Came on a groupon deal which perhaps was a bit restrictive especially round the starters. However Great food and service. No complaints and would come again.

Popped in on Good Friday with a friend, and had a delicious and very reasonably priced meal. Both food and wine were top notch and the staff were super friendly, even when we ended up being the last ones in there as we were so comfortable and deep in conversation we lost track of time! Thoroughly recommended by us!
