Great traditional Italian food well worth eating there.

A very cosy and welcoming restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful. The menu is good and there is plenty of choice. I also like the choice of specials. I have eaten here many, many times over the years and cannot recommend it enough. It is a clean and tidy restaurant.

Disappointing Experience – Won’t Be Returning We had high hopes for this Italian restaurant, but unfortunately, the entire experience was a letdown from start to finish. The service was poor, with the waitress coming across as rude and uninterested, which set the tone for the rest of the evening. The food did nothing to redeem the atmosphere. The garlic mushroom starter was clearly microwaved—cold around the edges and lacking any real flavour. The garlic bread was limp and soggy, and the arancini were mushy and unpleasant in texture. Both spaghetti bolognese dishes we ordered appeared to have been microwaved as well, lacking freshness and served at inconsistent temperatures. The Pollo Dianna was another disappointment: the vegetables were clearly microwaved, watery and borderline raw, and the sauce had developed an unappetizing skin. The chicken itself was tough and dry. The only redeeming item was the chips, which were actually cooked decently—though they were served cold, which unfortunately ruined even that small positive. Altogether, it was a very poor experience, and we won’t be coming back. There are far better places around for Italian food that actually care about quality and service.

Very busy when we went, but reasonable priced italian meal

So glad we discovered this beautiful place during our business trip! The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was fabulous. The service was outstanding—friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable throughout. We can be tricky customers—one vegetarian, one pescatarian—so it’s not always easy to find a place that satisfies us both, but this one exceeded our expectations. I’m already looking forward to returning on a private visit next time. Fine dining, great music—a true 5-star experience. Thank you

Couldn't be bothered making the tea tonight so nipped to Grants. Me and the hubby only wanted a pizza each. Ken had the Funghi and I had the unpronounceable one beginning with Q lol. Basically its got pepperoni and peppers but it delicious. We don’t call in as much as we used to do, Amy is still always smiling and friendly and the locals at the bar always nod and say hello. The pizzas are delicious, I also tried there Rhubarb cider, loved it

I called last minute to order two large trays of baked ziti for 60 hungry lacrosse players coming down from Maryland for a game. The owner was absolutely amazing—not only did he accept the last-minute order, but he also personally delivered the food to CNU right after the game! The Stevenson University Men’s Lacrosse team loved the baked ziti and garlic knots. I can’t thank the owner enough for his incredible service and delicious food. The boys were thrilled, and everything was gone in minutes. Highly recommend them!!

Great pizza but it’s such a shame that you have to pay £2.50 extra for vegan cheese. It feels very unfair to be punishing both people who can’t help not eating dairy and those who choose not to for ethical reasons.
