Decent Pizza, nice char on the crust, sauce could do with a bit more depth but the crust had a really good taste and it held together well. Will definitely be back to try the hot honey pizza.

Such a lovely atmosphere with great staff. Our waitress was called Lydia and she was very helpful, as I was unsure of the selections of toppings on pizza and she helped a lot.

Always a bit hit and miss, we came for the lunchtime pizzerino but unfortunately they couldn’t do this gluten free, so I ended up having to pay for a whole pizza and £2 extra on top for it being gluten free. I was working so didn’t want to spend a fortune so went for margarita, I ended up paying £12 for a really bland pizza. I have had nice pizzas before but the £2 extra for gluten free base is a bit steep.

Lovely staff, very helpful. The food was served quickly, and was delicious. The pizza crust was just right. Only small thing I'd say is that ths hot honey pizza was more sweet than spicy - would have preferred a little heat but overall great. Will definitely be back again.

Fabulous food. We are in love with this wonderful restaurant.The pizzas are the best we have had in the UK. We live in Harleston Norfolk but are moving to Herefordshire soon. And this restaurant will be our number one place to enjoy pizzas.

At least they gave me some money off for what was not the nicest lasagne. No bechamel sauce and drowned in tomato. No butter for the bread (go figure) A thoroughly unpleasant experience. The only saving grace is the Henry Weston's Vintage. You'll be glad to hear that I won't darken your door step again.

There are very few restaurants in Hereford that are worth going out of your way for - Leaven is absolutely one of them. This is English pizza done great - sourdough crust, good ingredients, and quirks of the menu that you really should explore (dip a roast potato in their hot garlic butter. You're welcome.)

Best pizza restaraunt in Hereford. The new premises on Broad street is spacious and comfortable. The food was excellent. Went at lunchtime and got a table for the afternoon pizza deal. Was just the right amount of food for moderate appetite and all clearly made fresh from quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. Didn’t hit the budget too hard either. Top stuff.

Fantastic evening last night celebrating a birthday. Food was delicious, portions generous and such good value for money. Staff were lovely and attentive. The restaurant is so clean and the atmosphere was great. As a group of 10 everything was brought out very quickly (preordered) and no delays on waiting for anyone else's orders so we all ate at the same time. Thankyou so much for a lovely evening, we will definitely be back and we'd definitely recommend to all!

We visited with our autistic children and the staff was so amazing with them, modifying the menu choices to make sure our children loved their food. And they did! And got even more excited when they found out that the dogs are welcome to come in. This place is heaven! Thank you so much!

Arrived mainly for the whole point my good friend krystain works as a chef, grabbed myself a pint but honestly the smell I couldn’t help myself to get some food, I won’t say what I ordered to not misdirect the experience for others but personally loved the food and the the atmosphere was amazing definitely be dining here not just for my mate but the quality of the food simple menu and nothing too complicated

Easily one of the best pizza spots in Hereford! Food is always delicious, and the service is always incredibly friendly and relaxed; really nice atmosphere for an evening sit down meal with friends. Shout out to Olivia who served my friend and I the other night and made us laugh quite a bit! Excellent server :)

We ate here recently mid-week and enjoyed it so much we came back at the weekend, on Sunday afternoon. The food was fantastic, we all had pizzas first time round, second visit we had the lasagne. Everything was heavenly and the service was impeccable. It was very quiet on both occasions but we didn’t actually mind that! My only niggle would be the soap in the ladies. The dispenser was empty but a bottle had been provided. It was quite watery on the first occasion so I was surprised to find the same bottle which had been further diluted on the second visit and was barely soap. Not ideal, especially if staff use these loos. But honestly this is such a small thing and the only negative, everything else was faultless. We will definitely return.

Just popped in on the gf chance they would have gluten-free pizza or pasta and they did yehhh. I’m always dubious of any dough that a gluten free but this was the best pizza base I have had anywhere and the roast potatoes were little nuggets of heaven. Highly recommend giving it a go if you’re gluten free I’m sure you won’t be dissappnted..

A really nice place for good food and excellent service. Very clean. We went in for a late lunch and were given a choice of tables as they weren't busy. The service was very quick and friendly. There were various dishes available, including pizzas and salads. There were unusual dishes that I'd not seen anywhere else. My son and I chose a fennel sausage and kale pizza between us, and we had a couple of sides. We each had a soft drink and a dessert as well. It came to a total of £46, which was well worth it. Accessibility - level access and plenty of space to move around. Main toilets are down some steps, but there is an accessible toilet in the main area.

Great food and drinks at a reasonable price and friendly, accomodating staff. We liked the contemporary decor in the place too - really cool atmosphere. The pizzas are a really good size for the price and better value for quality food, especially compared to chain restaurant offerings.

We had a wonderful meal at Leaven for a group of ten celebrating a 50th birthday. The pizzas were very good and the service was excellent. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had a good time.

Went to Leaven Pizza as a group of four, nice to see gluten free option for pizza - though seeing the portion size of GF vs normal pizza was a bit sad! I’m told normal pizza is nice, but average compared to other places. The gluten free was nice, but again I’ve tasted nicer. I had the hot honey and unfortunately couldn’t taste the chilli/honey at all. Service was good but the waitress did spill Coca Cola on one of the guests and no subsidy for this.

We wanted to support a local, independent restaurant for our office Christmas party, so we went to Leaven. Wonderful food, amazing staff, and a great night all round!! We were a party of 15, but the front of house staff coped brilliantly with all of our orders, drinks, and the rest of the tables they were looking after. Cannot recommend highly enough! A lovely restaurant centrally located and very kid friendly. Staff were friendly and we were very looked after (as there were no other patrons) at 5pm. 😀 Pizza came quickly, but could have been in slightly longer as the crust was still a little doughy (to our preference). Next time might ask for it specifically. Have a nice gin selection too.

Stop press! I went for a quick lunch and didn't have pizza. Instead I had an incredible venison ragu on fresh pasta. Perfectly cooked pasta and a Ragu that had clearly been simmering for hours it had such depth of flavour. Delicious! I have been for pizza before and can recommend the fennel sausage as being particularly delicious.
