We had a fantastic roast beef dinner here, with Yorkies and will definitely be back. Wonderful service in a privileged setting

Second visit to this restaurant this summer, and will be back again, hopefully. First time I visited I had the Roast Hake which was as good a dish as any top restaurant I’ve been to…and way less expensive! My second visit tonight I had the Louisiana Chicken which was so good and again, the chef’s on top of his game. We were a table of six, and the staff were great, welcoming and the food came to the table all together. As a BYOB they need to charge a higher corkage. Meals are way too cheap, and a 10% increase in menu prices would not be out of line.

Absolutely incredible! We both got the sirloin of beef roast dinner and my word, it was one of the best roast dinners I’ve ever had (which isn’t something I’d say lightly). The beef was so tender, the mash was creamy, the veg was perfectly seasoned and the gravy was divine. The rest of the menu looked amazing as well. We will definitely be back to try some of the other things on there.

Friendly service. Lots of choice. Iced fingers are great. Sausage rolls are massive and tasty. Mini cinnamon loaves are amazing. My go to bakery in Ards.

I just don’t get the whole belfast cafe/brunch persona with having to fire rich unnecessary toppings onto simple dishes, unfortunately neighbourhood fits right into this category. Sometimes keeping things simple goes a long way. First of all I’d like to say the coffee in here was one of, if not the best, and for how busy the staff were they were very accommodating! However having your eggs freezing isn’t always a great start to your day off right.

id never heard of the cuisine "chip" before, but it was scrumptious and my bestie Dominique had a blast. she had a "full Irish mixed grill" with "a pint of milk". couldn't have asked for more moisture and taste in my food. the presentation was sensational and out of this world. the waiter who served me enlightened me with the fact that his dog had previously passed away. what a connecting moment. as my dog, Bruno, is very much alive and well. But, i did have an upsetting dream where he died once. my boyfriend, luigi, had a little accident in the bathroom (the spicy chicken was to blame) and the staff were extremely helpful in cleaning it up.

Called into monas with a absolute banging hangover, seriously was close to death. Order a full soda and tin of Fanta lemon, a lovely girl called Carrieanne served us, absolute Dimond. Fanta lemon was out right away, freezing, she popped it and poured it out, she had a real pep in her step, soda came out, absolutely perfect, presentation was fantastic, soda bread was like a fluffy cloud. The brown sauce was the crap stuff but Carrieanne got us hp on the fly , def be back

First time visit for us but daughter and husband had been here before and thought we would like it, and we did. It’s a small venue so would assume that booking a table would be essential. The restaurant does small plates of food as well as a few larger choices. We went for the small plates and had about 5/6 between the four of us. Great variety of tastes amongst the dishes which included a whole plaice, chicken skewers, green beans (so good we had an extra portion) smashed and fried new potatoes. It’s a little noisy but a good atmosphere, our waitress was friendly and chatty and knowledgeable. They apparently have a steak night once a week which we might do on the next visit to NI.

I visited the cafe carnfunnock and had some really tasty food and a coffee. Was really impressed by the standard of coffee and service by Niamh, very friendly and made a top class cappacino. Will be back very soon.

Excellent cafe/restaurant it’s a wee hidden gem of a place, food is so nice and a great range of gluten free food including tacos and lovely deserts. Staff are so nice and I will definitely visit again soon.

We had lovely lunch today at Tony’s in Dundrum. Food was very tasty, freshly cooked and well presented. Service was first class and it was very welcoming and cold on a dreary day. The open fire is very homely and appreciated . Thoroughly recommend a visit.
