Tartine Restaurant at The Distillers Arms

Bushmills, Moyle, 30-45£
04/03/2019: Great value early bird menu that has something to appeal to most palates. All meals well cooked and presented beautifully, glass of wine/small beer included too! Restaurant is buzzily busy and I would strongly recommend that you book in advance.
03/03/2019: If you are in the North Coast area, this restaurant needs to be on your to do list. Lots of local, fresh food, cooked and presented at the highest level. The menu is varied and influenced by the local area - lots of great seafood option. Great drinks menu too with plenty of unique Gins. Hands down the best meal I've had out in a long time. The steak was fantastic, cooked to perfection. Dessert was delicious and my cocktail perfect. Definitely will be back here.

The Side Door Bistro Restaurant

Hightown, Newtownabbey
02/02/2019: Having not visited The Side Door in a few years, we organised a meal here last night. Food was excellent, freshly cooked to order, and generous portion sizes. The place was busy, and a great buzz about it. Its byo too, and no corkage charge, so another added bonus. My girlfriends who hasn't eaten here before were really impressed, and we all plan to return again soon with our families. Special mention to Ryan, who kept us in banter the whole evening!
22/12/2018: Called in for lunch after a recommendation. Good decision it was too. Food freshly cooked (propper delicious freshly battered gougons, not the preprepared type!) good portions, quick service and friendly staff. Good value into the bargain. What's not to like?! Will be back!!

Morton's Fish & Chip Shop

Dalriada, Moyle
10/03/2019: This is the best take out, take away fried fish I have had. It can be crowded but don't be in a hurry and wait. Take your take away to the new facility to sit and eat it and enjoy Morton's memorabilia. You will be in the presence of many locals. They like Morton's as well!
27/02/2019: Have been to Morton's fish and chip shop a few times looking for a good gluten free cod and chips and today didn't disappoint really fresh cod in nice crispy batter it's a must when visiting ballycastle seafront the picture says it all

The Copper Kettle

Bushmills, Moyle
12/03/2019: Just had breakfast there with my husband and one year old and it was the best service we’ve had on our entire trip in Ireland. There was a blonde woman who may be the owner who served us who was wonderful and a petite young brunette lady who was an utter sweetheart and opened the door for me as I struggled to get through carrying my baby. Besides the stellar service, the food was to die for. I had the breakfast mini fry with a hot chocolate and a warmed scone with jam, butter, and cream. The scone was so good my husband who had a bite decided to have half. The prices were the best we’ve come across in Ireland. A++++ We WILL be coming back.
10/03/2019: I went in by myself and ordered the Full Kettle breakfast which is about £6.50. It was totally worth it! Everything was tasty and cooked perfectly. I really enjoyed the black pudding and bread selections. Just perfect! A lovely pot of Irish tea washed it down! I am so gutted I didn’t have space for the cabinet deserts and cakes that were on display. Sadly no photos of my food because I didn’t want to be that “tourist” taking snaps but managed a sneaky one of the pot of tea. The locals frequent it so you know it must be good!

The Bushmills Inn Restaurant

Bushmills, Moyle
14/03/2019: We had supper at the pub and breakfast this morning at the restaurant attached to the Inn! Besides all the cool items clothing food cheeses and cereals, it was a wonderful selection I’ve had breakfast. I chose the Donnegal. Salmon & eggs delicious delicious!Plenty of other selections available and will try one of them tomorrow
13/03/2019: This restaurant came recommended by locals but to be honest not what we were looking for. It was like a library, you could hear a pin drop. I don’t like feeling like I can’t enjoy my conversation with my husband. We actually left without ordering and went to a nice restaurant in another town.

Mary McBride's Pub

Glendun, Moyle
22/01/2019: A good historic pub serving good hearty food (ridiculous portion sizes) and a friendly atmosphere. We stopped off on our road trip as our friends wanted to see the caves from game of thrones. Had lunch and realised one of the game of thrones doors was in the pub! A great location and I would imagine heaving in the summer!
01/12/2018: Just by chance...OMG..perfect chowder and yummy. Cushendun northwest Ireland on the scenic coastal route. A little gem north side of the bridge.

Roark's Kitchen

Kinbane, Moyle
21/01/2019: Visited Ballintoy Harbour and found this little coffee shop - just in time for tea!
15/01/2019: After your walk along beach please stop and enjoy the local taste of home made food especially the stew.. The Apple pie is my favourite. Can be very busy at times so be polite and patient.

Barnish Cafe

Glenshesk, Moyle
04/02/2019: Many times I have driven by this place and I wish I had stopped. A hidden gem it certainly is. Freshly cooked food, home made desserts, home baking - and all at a reasonable price. Its a long time since I had good wholesome food. Most cafes nowadays serve frozen food pinged in a microwave or traybakes from a freezer and scones from a packet. You will not get that here.
12/11/2018: A lovely old style café, very friendly staff, lovely choice of hot food and cake's. Well worth a visit when your passing

Carrick-A-Rede Bar and Grill

Kinbane, Moyle, <20£
19/10/2018: We were driving through on our way to the Rope Bridge but first needed lunch. We saw tour buses unloading at the place across the street, so that quickly lost our interest. We opted to stop at this place based on reviews. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like family. We visited this area in off-season, we were the only ones in the building when we first arrived, and the staff (especially our lovely waitress) sat and chatted with us about our visit and where we were headed. The food was also AMAZING. I had the Shepard's Pie and my husband the lamb shank. Such a fantastic meal, one of the best of our trip. We would highly recommend this restaurant!
27/09/2018: 有中文餐牌的愛爾蘭酒吧餐廳,歷史建築外放置特式老婆婆坐在搖椅的銅像。餐廳景觀開揚,價格合理、食物質素也不錯。

Galgorm Resort & Spa

Galgorm, Ballymena
15/03/2019: Food was tasty as always 🤗2nd time here eating and it wasn't a disappointment. the cocktails are cheap and the good was included in our package 😁 I wouldn't go anywhere else when I stay in galgorm I love this restaurant
13/03/2019: Reasonable prices great food friendly staff pick up and drop off service to and from cabins loved every minute of it

Harbour Lights Cafe

Carnlough, Larne
03/02/2019: Myself Husband and son went here is morning for breakfast services was very good did not wait long for order to arrive and it was fantastic. Hugh serving set us up for the day . Also the view looking over the sea if just beautiful
02/01/2019: If you are looking for a great value fry that 'does what it says on the tin' this is the place if you are in the area. It's not fancy, there are no frills and not a smashed avocado in sight but the service was friendly and efficient and the food was tasty and hot. The waitress we had was great about adding and swapping items on the menu which isn't the case everywhere which was an added bonus. There are 3 sizes of fry which come with tea or coffee included or there are other options including cheese on toast! I had the large fry and it was excellent.

Castle Demesne, Ballymena
16/01/2019: So sad to hear Montgomery’s is closing 😟 This was a favourite for Saturday morning breakfast and weekday lunch. Service was 100% and food was excellent. Nice family run business.
11/01/2019: Usually love going here for afternoon coffee and cake. Not much selection anymore and half empty compared to other times. Let’s hope it picks up again.

55 Degrees North

Royal Portrush, Coleraine
14/03/2019: We went up to walk the strand at Portrush on 27 February, a beautiful sunny day and my birthday. After our walk we had wanted to go to a dog friendly restaurant and Tilly's was closed so we chose 55 Degrees North as we could sit outside under cover. We all just went for light bites but the servings were huge, one would easily have done between two. I had fajitas which came with masses of chips. First time here and while the food wasn't haute cuisine, it was tasty, filling plentiful and reasonably priced and service was great too.
09/03/2019: Friendly helpful staff, good choice menu, good service, food was tasty. No complaints from us. A very enjoyable experience. We will be back

Mal's Bar and Restaurant

Ballymaguigan, Magherafelt
30/06/2017: Was a great place seems the owner decided to end the business and now it's for let as a commercial site. This business is sorely missed by all who frequented it both locals and visitors.
14/11/2016: Basically a cafe trying to be a restaurant with cheap detailing.. food not to the best standards compared to others near it..

The Corner House

Draperstown, Magherafelt
11/01/2017: We were passing through and stopped here for a bite. Food delicious, staff very friendly, lovely atmosphere and 3 courses for £10! Definitely returning here for such great hospitality and have recommended to friends!
06/11/2016: We ate here one afternoon in July; there was no-one else in the restaurant. We had bacon and cabbage dinner and a chilli goujon lunch. The food was tasty and well presented. The service was attentive and good.
