Lovely breakfast. Plates are nice and warm so your food will never be cold just watch you don’t burn your fingers! Coffee was lovely as well. Highly recommended.

I had breakfast in this restaurant on multiple ocaisions while on vacation in Newry for 3 weeks. The food is very good and the staff is very friendly and cheerful. They also gave me good information on things to see in the area while I was there. They treated me very kindly and the service was prompt and they were helpful with explaining what the menu items were. Lovely people working there and a fine establishment.

Ate breakfast at Gather and Brew on a regular basis for three weeks. Always had wonderful food. Very family oriented, and the serving staff was more than welcoming at all times.

The food itself was nice. I have to say, the forwardness and frankly semi rude behaviour of waiting crew, with a poorly written menu made this a one and done experience

We fell upon this little gem last year whilst driving from south to north of Ireland and had the most wonderful breakfast. This week we visited again…. twice !!! It’s as delicious as we remember. The food is fresh and tasty. Portions are generous. Service is awesome and the staff are the most welcoming and attentive. What a great little business. Highly recommended and thank you to the team here. You must try. Conveniently located just off the motorway. Thank you

Been here frequent times and service is always impeccable and fast. Food is always fantastic. You can tell the kitchen staff have excellent experience as it’s flavoursome and well presented food Tried breakfasts, lunches and just coffee/traybakes over my several visits and never had a bad feed.

While staying locally over the May bank holiday , came upon this gem of a coffee shop / restaurant. From the moment we entered we were welcomed in a real friendly way . Staff on both visits were exceptional . Quality of food and presentation was top quality . The menu will suit all tastes . I recommend a visit if your anywhere close by , it’s very close to the Newry exit off the M1 .

Popped in for a quick lunch, food fine, waitress fine, however listening to the manager scream at staff was beyond uncomfortable, won't be back because of that.

What has happened to Diamonds? Been going here when on holiday pretty much for 40 years. Always been brilliant. Good homemade style food at reasonable prices. But just been back in 2025 and so disappointed. Prices have soared. Our favourite chicken baguette with chips is now getting on for £20. About twice what it was not all that long ago. (Am I the only person left who thinks £5 for a small portion of chips is just far too much?) Upstairs was also far too hot. Uncomfortably so. Staff were great as they always are. But while I can't quite believe it, Diamonds might be off the menu for us now.
