The best restaurants serving Irish food in Northern Ireland

This place has a real buzz with clients from around the world visiting Bushmills Distillery and the Giant's Causeway. Staff try super hard and deliver a brilliant experience. Food ideal and good value. Walking distance of the Design Centre in the old Courthouse across the Diamond with the largest art gallery in NI also in the village.

I decided to pick this restaurant as a break between our trip from Dublin to Letterkenny. What I did not take into account is that the restaurant is what seemed like the middle of nowhere! I wish them however the very best as it really is a lovely comfortable restaurant. You are made feel at home and it certainly is a relaxing place. My wife had the Chicken & Chorizo Rigatoni which she could not finish and I had the Cheeky Burger which I just about finished! Both took a little bit to arrive but be patient. The food is excellent. I would advise anybody to stay nearby and experience the restaurant for a few hours. It is only a pity that they do not have accommodation upstairs! That is certainly what we will be doing next time. The service was excellent and attentive and we left happy afterwards ready for our onwards trip!

Great food and service in lovely restaurant . It’s definitely worth popping in if you are in the area you won’t be disappointed. We generally by pass it on route to Donegal but it’s now on our list of places to stop !

Excellent service and friendly and the food was excellent 5 stars as i am chef and a food critic myself and poached eggs with avocado on sourdough with bacon was so delicious and amazing. LordDillion

Very nice bar at the Flagstaff. Waiter was very nice. Good 2 course meal. Steak well cooked and trifle delicious. Nice for a coffee afterwards too. Good location. Decent price. Nice place to eat.

Real country cafe, huge portions, pretty sure the lady taking our order was also making coffee and cooking so good on her for doing everything at once!

Me gusta este lugar y he estado bastantes veces ahora. El personal es muy amable y el café es agradable. Pedí los huevos con chorizo, que era muy sabroso, pero me hubiera encantado aún más si hubiera habido un poco más de chorizo en lugar de los pequeños cubos mezclados. El ambiente es genial y los baños estaban limpios.

Sunday lunch at Becketts was a real treat. The food was excellent served by very friendy and welcoming staff. One of the best lunches weve had in ages. Beef and Yorkshire pudding was melt in the mouth. Vegetables cooked to perfection. My apple crumble was sensational. The 2nd time weve eaten in the Hotel it wont be the last. Give Becketts a try if you like real quality cooking served to perfection. Thank you to all the staff who helped my husband have a great birthday treat.

Excellent food, great staff, lovely ambience. A seriously good restaurant and value for money . Went for my birthday and it surpassed our expectations, an excellent restaurant.

El mejor desayuno que he comido en Belfast o en cualquier parte del Reino Unido. Buena comida fresca. Bien presentado. Gran personal. Ocupado también. Asientos al aire libre para esos días en los que no llueve. El precio es razonable. Nada de quejas. Bien hecho Hatch.

The barman Chris pours the best pint of Guinness about , no complaints here . He is very courteous and takes his craft seriously 10/10 will be back

We live locally and can honestly say we always get great food! The staff and atmosphere is always warm and welcoming.

Wonderful little gem .. had a beautiful lunch with the grandkids ..was served by a lovely blonde woman with glasses.. and hairband ...so friendly...The service was great ..the food was great ...and we ll will be back and recommending to our friends and family. ..
