Real country cafe, huge portions, pretty sure the lady taking our order was also making coffee and cooking so good on her for doing everything at once!

Brilliant coffee stop for cyclists, friendly staff always freshly made home baking on offer. Cosy homely surroundings with a warm welcome and well priced food. Highly recommended by me as a cyclist friendly coffee stop.

Lovely wee place decorated with antique teapots, so there's always something to look at. Food is delicious and cheap, the fry will definitely get you going in the morning!

Updated review: Lost 1 star for previous cancelled orders twice in a week with no explanation. However today we placed a successful order and all I can say is the food is amazing with great and fast delivery. Will definitely visit the restaurant in person when I can. the frys and light lunch options are top quality.

Called in today. Was the only customer around lunchtime so should have known better. Menus were sheets of crumpled paper with several stains on. Ordered a wrap which on the menu had chips which I did not want still got charged for them. Not wanting mayo was offered sweet chilli sauce which was fine. Rather to dear for what it was at £7.10

This will be a brief review as we drove by on a Sunday morning on a trip that had been planned quickly and this was on our route to somewhere else. This place is in a very small village on the Main Street. It's a place we would normally never be in on a Sunday. As we drove by, we saw from an on - street blackboard that they offered a Sunday roast dinner for £4.95 - this is a price that you could hardly make it for. Long story short we pulled up and bought one; turkey and ham. The dish had really generous slices of the two meats as well as carrots, parsnips and Brussels sprouts. All the food was tasty and its remarkable they can offer this value on quality. We think gravy was offered but found when we got home there was no potato, which was a surprise as it's a dinner staple in these parts. It was still quite early on in the day we did throw the lady server a bit asking fir lunch at that early time and maybe the spuds just weren't ready but that aside the portions, quality and genuine value for money that was offered was excellent.

We have passed this place on numerous occasions and finally called in to check it out. Very pleased we did as we found the atmosphere inside to be cosy, inviting and friendly with a good choice of reasonably priced food and drinks available. We will definitely add it to our places to call in and.will visit again soon.

Cody Ryans is well worth the stop enroute through Gilford. So good is the food that it is worth travelling to Gilford. Don't go if you want fancy, trendy marketing - Do Go if you want good honest down to earth Irish food. Portions are very generous - the steak sandwich is a veritable feast & the puddings to die for. This family run restaurant has a relaxed intimate ambience. Good luck to all involved.

Having failed to eat in another quite well known establishment just down the road (far too long a wait) this place was a very welcome pit stop for my family. There was a very friendly lady from Preston serving us, a delicious curry slice (!) and other light lunch food. Nothing sophisticated but very welcome nonetheless! Recommended.

Wow, what an exceptional place for dinner. Delicious food, amazing friendly service and a comfortable warm and tastefully decorated setting. All of the staff we interacted with were lovely but in particular Katie was fantastic. Great service blended with Irish charm and wit. The food was freshly cooked, served in a timely manner and mouthwatering. This place is a must stop for anyone visiting Camlough or the surrounding areas.

Good location, nice ambience, decent staff that wants to be helpful, but lacking in knowledge about food. Obviously they use decent ingredients, but lack of skills or poor execution lets them down. I didn't ask for ice in my drink, I got ice. I didn't ask for sugar in my coffee, it was sweet. The menu said "poached egg", but egg was definitely not poached and hollandaise did not have a texture or taste of the hollandaise sauce. To top it off it came to nearly £25 for a brunch, one dish and two drinks, if the quality was good I wouldn't even mention price. However when you pay that sort of money for something that you didn't entirely enjoy, it feels like a rip off. Plenty of awards on walls, but when I asked a simple question about one of ingredients, they couldn't even tell me where it comes from, makes you wonder if they have any awareness if the products they are using.
