Visited on a Sunday recently. Dont let the door fool you: the experience starts in the carpark because the aroma of the homemade pizza sauce et all will greet you before the amazing staff. Had the table booked because I'm not an idiot and we found our booth spaceous and bright. I'll try be concise: this was the most satisfying meal I've had this year so far. I opted for a chilli honey flatbreak and the burrata and friend (and son) went for two pizzas (one no cheese) and we barely spoke. The flavours, size and presentation all en pointe (yes i spelt it correctly) . Their decaf coffee is fantastic and their supplying of New Kid coffee is taken very seriously, as my tastebuds can attest to. The place is full of heart, the kindest lady on the floor is the owner & the man at the oven is her visionary husband. Chefs working hard; look up and smile at you. Read that line again! Unheard of. I dont know where the name Scarpello originates, but it has arrived in Derry with a reputation for excellence, flavour & consistent high standard. The only thing better than this meal was the consequential nap I took afterwards. Thanks Scarpello. See ye soon x

Stopped for supper. Got a steak burger with fried onions and ketchup. Tasty and sweet. Nice large thin meat patty. I had also a single battered sausage which is cut in two before frying. A good free scoop of chips garnish. Very tasty and recommended. Fair prices. Clean and friendly owner and staff.

Booked with friends for a special occasion this month, already regretting it. Website is next to impenetrable. A number of our party have called on several occasions and it's impossible to speak to a person. Not worth the hassle and stress.

Cortes baratos de carnes que se nos presentan como costillas (tontería de Deane para comprometer la calidad y piensa que el cliente no conoce mejor) Personal grosero y frío (eso es de esperar cuando conozcas al gerente) ¡no es un líder, eso es seguro! El gerente más arrogante y grosero que hemos encontrado en cualquier restaurante (él ha estado allí un tiempo, así que te dice que Deane & Co. no están invertidos en sus clientes, sus comentarios o buena comida sobre el personal agresivo! Imagínate ir a pagar por comer a un restaurante y ser humillado por un hombre arrogante y estábamos pagando la cuenta y dejamos propina (más nos engañan) Gerente empezando a discutir con nosotros cuando dimos su opinión sobre la calidad de algunos de los filetes que nos sirvieron entre muchos otros hipos durante nuestro servicio de cena Los lados eran promedio. Promedio de vino y sobre precio. En general nos quedamos sin el lugar aliviados de no tener que ser sometidos nunca más a ese abuso

This is a fantastic venue to hold an event, the staff are fantastic and could not be more helpful and attentive, the food and service is flawless. This should be your first choice in 5he Cookstown area!

The best little port on a cold wet day. We visited Ballintoy on a typically dreary day and the cafe was so cosy warm and welcoming. Staff are wonderful, coffee was fabulous and the cakes were out of this world. Some great views too. Highly recommend!

Unexpected place to find a cafe/restaurant opened until 8pm. Good basic menu with a wide variety. Not expensive and a 3 course menu offered for £15 until 7pm. The chef came to the tables to check customers were happy with their meals.

Excellent service from booking to the event. Everyone was very helpful. The food was delicious, not one member of our party of 23 had any complaints. Would definitely recommend and will be back

Disappointing The batter on our fish dishes was not cooked, white and slimy on the inside. Message from chef was that batter mix was too thick and needed to be thinner. For crying out loud, a chef should know that before sending food out to customers.

One of my 'go to' places for years and we were very underwhelmed. It'susually packed (especially on a Saturday night) and has a great vibe but there was no atmosphere. The menu wasn't great and the food was bland overall. Waiting staff mixed up drinks orders (there were only 3 of us) and one of the main courses. We won't be rushing back.

Mighty burger with the tastiet garlic cubes ever.
