One of 1001 "oldest Irish pubs", still has a great atmosphere, delicious food, and nice staff. Highly recommended place to visit.

I haven't been in here in years .what a surprise we got what a make over food was lovely and a very good choice for gluten free options . Will definitely be back .

Fantastic Rare old pub and Restaurant.

First time having food in Grace Neill's and it was worth it. Everything was lovely. Service was very good and staff were very friendly and pleasant. Great range of food and also daily offers as well. Good range of desserts and cocktails. Will definitely be back again to try more of the menu.

A very livley atmosphere,and busy service,the food here is excellent,I made the mistake of not asking the chef to cook my food the way I like it, as a result it was slightly over cooked next time I'll ask.but on the whole the meal was excellent and service on a Saturday night was great.looking forward to dinning there again.

Took my mother for her 70th birthday, and I had heard great things about this place getting a revamp. Maybe what we experienced was not the norm, but it was shocking. Poor service, bland food, and a cramped restaurant you couldn't hear yourself think, never mind, speak to the rest of your table. Was introduced to our "waitress" only to never see her again after our drinks order. Starters arrived with bits missing, maybe they ran out, maybe they forgot them, I'll never know, cause the food was left. Tried to get several peoples attention as one of the starters was a sharing platter for 2, only there was no plate to share with! Mains came much later and again bits missing, no explanation, nothing. We were brought a dessert menu, but no one ever came to take the order... people appeared to be going on break, servers getting their coats on and walking past clicking lighters, or getting their dinner. I walked up to the counter to pay the bill, and I'm guessing she could see from my face I was extremely unhappy, as not a "hope everything was all right," just the receipt. She was far too busy being chatty with the 2 young male servers with her. I'm sure they're normally better than they were that night, but the food was tasteless. It looked good, but there were no seasonings, bland, dry. With 3 other really good restaurants in spitting distance of this place, I'll pass next time and head to one of those.

Would give it 5 but it's so expensive!!

Very decent bar but it maybe does not really quite live up to the high praise reviews it gets in my opinion. Still very well worth a visit if in Donaghadee.

We was staying locally in Groomsport and Dylan who we rented off recommended we eat at Grace Neills. The food was amazing. Best meal we had this visit to Ireland

Booked a table for 4 on Wednesday night after Christmas. Very busy, had a delicious meal served by friendly and helpful staff. My husband is still talking about the lamb shank.

I have been here for a quiet drink and also for a family meal. The service is excellent. They are great with children. Good value for money.

Didn't eat. Cosy pint with old and new friends. Front bar (the old bit) is just as cute as a bar could be. If you're a tourist it's well worth a visit. If you're a local you already know.

Soup was terrible stopped at that didn't order any more. I am a local and that was very disappointing

Visited today for my Dads birthday meal. First time here & very impressed! Absolutely faultless from start to finish. Went yesterday...for the first time. Mum dad and 2 babies....the staff were unbelievable...so helpful and friendly. The food was out of this world...I'm a harsh critic....but this deserved 10/10. Best meal we have had in a long time. Top notch

This used to be a great bar and restaurant but that was a very long time ago. I had dodged it for almost as long. My extended family had been enjoying dining in another local bar but wanted a change over the Christmas period. I did warn them! We encountered no covid check on entry. Service was simply poor. Food was so bad most of it went back. They love their deep fat fryer! I rarely comment on toilets but they really were grim. Panels hanging off walls etc. Zero evidence of cleaning checks. Just what you want during a pandemic. The good news is my clan will not be dragging me back again. The bar deserves new management.

We went for a Sunday dinner with our toddler son, we all got the roast beef,mash,veg,Yorkshire pud, roasting and gravy. It was delicious can't fault it, even our son couldn't get the beef in quick enough and said it was yummy awesome. Goid portions, just enough not too much, delicious. Quick smiley, friendly efficient staff. Along with a bottle of white wine 2adults one child came to £53.00. pretty decent price with a guy singing in the background, definitely will be back again. Awesome as son put it.

Food was delicious, staff friendly however a few of the staff were wearing masks inappropriately while talking to customers at the table and the gentleman who came round asking was everything ok not wearing one other than that an enjoyable experience

Had a wonderful meal today here, the fish pie was outstanding, full of fish, and lots of fresh vegetables to accompany the dish. My husband had the roast beef, again excellent. Will definitely be back soon 😊.

This is a difficult time to write a review. For this restaurant, the food was excellent. Good presentation and excellent quality. Staff were very nice. The younger staff could do with more training and appeared slightly unconfident in their job. That’s to be expected at...

My wife ordered a sirloin but was given a ribeye, waitress still insisted it was a sirloin when clearly it wasn't.We weren't charged but hasn't made me want to be in any hurry back again.

Spends lots of time in this pub with a restaurant attached at the rear which does excellent food .Also has live music.People are friendly and welcome guests and the bar has a good selection of beers a spirits .Probably my favourite bar in Belfast

Great food and service but couples tables are terrible. I asked to move because the couples tables are shoved into a small area at the side and staff bump into you as they go to and from the kitchen. Bins and dirty dishes coming past do not make for a nice experience. Ditch those tables and put couples in a nice space like everyone else seems to get. Couples treated like second class versus 4+ person tables. Would be 5 stars if not for this.

Certainly old (1611) which is almost a quarter past four. Not the warmest of welcome but a lovely pint of Guinness.

Very disappointed, called in for the first time with company, sat for at least 10 minutes before they brought over a menu, then when he did didnt take our drink order,sat in a further 20 mins waiting for staff to come and take orders, worst ever service, wasnt even busy, ended up walking out.

Went for lunch with family, bar at front was full of history and out back a warm fire. All enjoyed the meals and the Guinness was great. Good service and well priced. Well worth a visit.

Awesome pub , great food & staff , a little piece of history too

First time I have been to this Bar/Restaurant, apparently the oldest pub in Ireland. It was my birthday and my partner took me out for the afternoon and it was terrific. My partner had a lovely salad while i had a steak and both were delicious and while we were eating were entertained by a young girl singing easy listening songs and playing the guitar. This will be the first of many visits. Trust me.

Christmas Lunch was fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed the venue and food. Highly recommended
