We visit every time in Wales and enjoy the food. We do take out but dinning room is nice. We will be back when in town again.

Ordered a delivery which was missing a main item. Also delivered a wrong order which I couldn't eat. Called the restaurant and they delivered the missing item but did not deliver the correct meal which they said they would. This is the second time our order as been incorrect. Honestly, it's not rocket science to get a simple order right. As long has they get their money it's ok by the looks of it!

Haven’t eaten here since before Covid and that ended up in the bin. A friend said they recently had a lovely meal here so gave them the benefit of the doubt Should have trusted my judgement and gone elsewhere. Chips looked and tasted refried in dirty/old oil, pilau rice passable The wife’s passanda was roasted chicken reheated in the sauce my madras was edible but nothing special Live and learn

I’ve tried other takeaways and always gone back to Bombay Spice but after tonight I would think twice. Waited 2hrs and 5 minutes for food in which time my husband who is disabled had gone to bed. Food when delivered was absolutely stone cold. Hot food is supposed to be kept hot only 20 minutes and then destroyed. The driver apologised and said they were really busy and obviously it was not his fault. Absolutely fuming, £23 down the drain. Will never order in which

We ordered from this place thinking to try somewhere different, it was awful. My partner had a tikki masala, he said it was like tasting really sweet tea. I asked for lamb in my dish and I got chicken my dish was meant to be spicy, i got a similar dish to a korma. Also we ordered a garlic naan we got normal. Wouldn't waste your money with this place.

Used to be great here. It has now gone over to a dreadful buffet. Went for a celebration and it was not good at all. So sad. However, Three Elephants just down the road is phenomenal. Same owners as the amazing Hattis in Newport and Three Moghuls. Avoid this place and go to one of those instead.

I have been coming to the New Viceroy for years and have never had a bad meal. Also I cannot believe the comments that were made about the manager on a previous review. He has kept the restaurant going post covid when many others closed. He is approachable and makes sure that you have an enjoyable experience. Tonight I had another tasty hot meal even though he had a large number of people celebrating. Please if you want to taste a truly authentic Indian the New Viceroy is the place to go.
