Suarez makes the best kebabs - not just in Caernarfon, not just in North Wales, but probably in the whole world. The bread is the best bit - home made and cooked in front of you - and far better value than anywhere else. A must visit.
Been a few times with friends, it is the true heart of the town, has atmosphere, good vibes, love and joy here. Rumour has it, this is where seratonin originated from xo honestly were obsessed tbh x
I've been dragging my friend on a burger tour of Cardiff for a few months now. We've gone to some of the most recommended spots in town. I can honestly say, without exaggeration or hyperbole, that this was not only the best burger I've ever eaten, but one of the best meals I've had in my life - and that includes my grandmother's cooking.
I knew the reviews were good. I knew that the restaurant owners owned the butcher's and the farm too, so I was prepared to enjoy myself. I was genuinely unprepared for just how good the food tasted. I could use phrases like "melt-in-the-mouth", "bursting with flavour", or "perfectly balanced", but I wouldn't be doing it justice. You have to experience it for yourself.
The only burger I've had that came close was a lamb burger served on the farm where the animal had been slaughtered that morning. The freshness and quality of the ingredients here, from the homemade buns to the inspired toppings to the tender, juicy meat itself, are immediately apparent. I was both completely satisfied and could not get enough.
I'm going to be dragging my friends and family here every chance I get - this place must stay open, it is a genuine Cardiff institution and Welsh national treasure. Again, I'm not exaggerating.
P.S. I made a TripAdvisor account so I could post this
Lovely, quality ingredients - Popeth Cymraeg (everything Welsh). Excellent service. More of a 'cafe' feeling than a pub now, there's also local gifts to peruse and purchase. A lovely experience.
Great wee shop and petrol station. We filled up with £20.00 OF diesel, the maximum allowed. It has outside seating. Great wee shop with the obvious needs covered. We made a donation to the food bank as well. A few welsh language magazines were for sale. Postcards and newspapers. Very friendly place and obviously a mainstay of the community.
We had the best noodles we’ve had for a long time. Copious amounts of fresh ingredients in a massive portion excellently cooked. We’ve both lived in Asia and this is the real thing. Judging by the number of orders received while we were there everyone agrees. Very pleasant owner. They do excellent cooked breakfasts too at very fair prices.
Drive in to Nantlle and you smell that fabulous roaster smell…follow your nose to Poblado….unsure?….have a coffee before you buy one of their packs (whole bean or ground )
I’m no expert but, I know what I like….and I like their product a lot…well worth a 75 mile trip!!😜👍
Went looking for a local brew before turning in for the night and found this gem. They offer their own brew in a space fitting a local pub and brewery.
Great selection of amazing cakes as well as food and drinks, all at a reasonable price. Lovely 80's style decor and a warm welcome. Definitely a hidden treasure in Cwmbran town centre.
