Dafarn Newydd, Village Stores, Takeaway & Petrol Station in Powys

Great wee shop and petrol station. We filled up with £20.00 OF diesel, the maximum allowed. It has outside seating. Great wee shop with the obvious needs covered. We made a donation to the food bank as well. A few welsh language magazines were for sale. Postcards and newspapers. Very friendly place and obviously a mainstay of the community.

What a lovely little place. We visited the local area for the weekend and as we did research before we left we knew we wanted to go take a visit here. They have a convinence store as well as a takeaway and fuel pump. We had food from the take away everyday that we were there from breakfast baps, breakfast trays to burgers and fish and chips. All made to order so lovely and hot and to save you waiting around you can sit outside and take in the view, weather permitting or they are kind enough to bring the food to your car. The Johnson family are very friendly, welcoming and just genuinely lovely people which in itself made us want to return. Thank you

Have called by several times for a super breakfast bap & tray, just so freshly cooked and big home cooked factor added. Lovely warm welcome by the lady at the ship, very kind and will cater for everyone in our camping group. Thank you for adding another memory to our camping weekend 😊😊😊
