The haddock wasn't meaty not like back home up west Yorkshire got loads of chips and curry sauce was to strong for me

Lovely fish and chips - good quality and very consistent.

the owner has two shops both veryhigh quality food for each shop doesn't have the exact same menu they have slight changes like you can't get scallops in one but you can get southern fried chicken in the other the fish bar is the best of the 2 fresh food great service and fast .....

Wow the food tasted really nice then an added bonus was portion size massive You can tell when a local chippy is good when there queuing out the door, chippy was busy but not a problem orders taken efficiently & food served to an excellent standard well done to the staff & owner ££££££

I come here quite often and it normally doesn’t disappoint. But I came today about an hour ago and when I got home I found some of the chips were way undercooked. The battered sausage was a bit soggy but I’m putting that down to the journey back home. Overall a bit disappointing because normally this place is amazing

Thank you for having a gluten free menu for fish and chips !! Tried and tested and had no bad reaction, plus the batter is sooo good. Potentially better than the normal one, my partner said. Had to rate 5 stars - mainly for the first order and experience, huge portions and cooked perfectly. The 2nd time was only a bit disappointing as the fish portion was a lot smaller than expected yet still quite expensive (gluten free) . Their chips are perfect though and now I know next time to get the normal size fish order..not small, cause it's SMALL

First time buying food here, but it won't be the last.... Fish and chips for two and a small curry sauce. Chips excellent, fish excellent ( but a little smaller than the price suggested ) curry sauce nice but very very sweet... Overall 9.5 out of 10

Stopped there on the way to Shropshire, fast service and staff was helpful. Portions were massive too. A+

We called in here by chance for a quick lunch when we broke our journey from Tenby to Wolverhampton. We were served quickly. My wife ordered cod and chips and I had the chicken pie and chips. It was raining so we scuttled back to our car in the car park just across the road, our tummies rumbling from the delicious smells from our hot lunch. My chicken pie was piping hot and the chips were scrummy. But it was the cod and chips that really blew us away. The cod was the best we had tasted anywhere. Beautifully cooked, very tasty and covered in lovely golden crunchy batter. Please do try out this fish and chip shop when your are in town, I think you will be in for a treat!

Been coming here for a few years, food is always great however today I had one of the rudest and downright unpleasant member of staff ever, to the point where I had to say to my husband take over and pay because I was so angry, when trying to take my order she was shouting at me and quite aggressive, a lovely lad took over but nothing was said about her calling and shouting about me in the back. Very unpleasant and upsetting experience, I manage 2 teams of 15 staff, I would never let my staff speak to customers like that but obviously accepted in your premises as soon as I left she was straight back.

Second take away from here this week while on holiday, was not disappointed... well until I dropped my kebab on the floor and the dog helped himself... chips are amazing n chicken kebab I'd delicious 👌 It's a must visit chippy, thanx guys.

Having gluten free fish and chips when out and about is always a treat. Good service, tasty fish, value for money... and gluten free vinegar. Other GF options also available. (Thurs, Fri & Sat evenings).

I'm going to be fair. It was a lovely meal, however the chips were rather soggy, and dry on the throat. The kebab wasn't bad but the onions! The onions! They were too spicy! 😂

We called in and ordered 4 x fish and chips, 2 sausages and 2 curry sauce. I explained that we were staying about 5 miles away and could they double wrap them to keep them warm, which they did Everything was cooked fresh and ready in about 8 minutes We thoroughly enjoyed our piping hot tea when we got back to our chalet Would highly recommend this place

Asked got gluten free chips for a Celiac. All went well until utensils for normal chips were used, questioned it. Got told no they are still gluteen free. (Contaminated with gluten) Please be careful.

Really nice chips, such a busy chipshop that they are usually lovely and fresh, the price is about right for the area and the staff are nice and friendly. One of the great things about this chipshop is that there is ample parking across the road making it easier to just pull up and queue, or pickup if you have phoned an order through.

Always good fresh tasty food and the staff are lovely, prices are reasonable and the portions are ample, the opening times are good but can be busy at peak times but definetly worth the wait

Stopped off randomly on the way past. Chips reminded me of my childhood chippy! The large chips should come with a warning though, there's enough there to feed four people 🤣

Service was quick. We ordered cod and chips, which were delicious - not greasy, good portions, and we were able to eat on one of the picnic tables outside. There is a car park opposite. Would recommend.

Stopped here on the way home from a trip to Scotland. It was around 7pm and had at least 2 hours still to drive. Staff were friendly and polite. Ordered Fish and chips X3. Got to say it was really fresh and the chips were the best I've had in years. Prices were very competitive. If I pass through again I will definitely stop. 100% recommend.

I always go for a burger box as you get burger chips and a drunk with this deal and its not to expensive the shop itself is always beautifully kept clean well done to them I'd recommend this chippy

Having visited this establishment on many previous occasions, we were disappointed that this time the fish was dry and the batter overcooked. It seemed that the fish had been twice cooked.

Only 15 minute wait for gf fish as they make the batter fresh. Very clean & friendly with good parking. We ordered for 8 people, generous portions and quick service. Food was delicious. Highly recommend for gf options.

This fish restaurant opens at 11.30 which is convenient. The batter was lovely and crispy and the fish was white. The chips were also good.

Just ordered 2 cod, jumbo in batter, large chips, small chips, peas, and gravy for 3 of us. Cod was amazing and the batter was perfectly crispy and the portion size of everything was really good.
