Spice Tandoori, a restaurant we've been frequenting for years, constantly exceeds our expectations ,offering an exceptional dining Experience. The visually stunning meals are bursting with vibrant, exotic flavours. An evening at Spice Tandoori provides a unique opportunity to savour the authentic tastes and aromas of Indian cuisine without leaving Elgin. For all Indian food enthusiasts, Spice Tandoori is a must visit destination.

I sat in for lunch yesterday and I was really disappointed I ordered a lamb Karahi and ther was 4 bits of lamb in a small dish at £10 and the Nan bread was like a popadom it broke up SHAME used to be good a few years ago but I will NOT be back I’m afraid 👎

Not been for a while but was confident they would cater for my food intolerances as they have in the past. I'd ordered a vegetable korma to be made with coconut milk & no dairy. I was very specific on this. However, going by how I reacted a short time later it obviously had dairy in it. Won't be back. Husband had chicken tikka masala & he wasn't right either, though not as bad as myself. Care should be taken for those of us with intolerances or allergies. Sadly this was not the case.

Me and My friend went in for a curry takeaway since it was around their closing time but ended up having an amazing full course dinner. The service and food, both exceptional. Coming from the Southern part of India, I guarantee for their authentic Kerala cuisine which I never found anywhere in Glasgow. The manager Joseph made us feel home away from home and we wont forget Deepesh, for his excellent service. Can’t wait to visit and will definitely recommend more people. ❤️

Genuinely the worst Indian food I've EVER had and had 1000s of meals from various restaurants across the world. Everything tastes the same, the vase sauce they used tastes burnt. The chicken tikka isn't cooked a tandoori. It's just boiled chicken there terrible base gravy. The prawns puri was shocking. The staff are pleasant enough but by god the food I would feed to a rat. Truly shocking.

Despite being turned away in the first point of contact (we just turned up, no booking); a quick re-visit of the restaurant’s ‘situation’ by the manager found us a seat. The surroundings were impressive, the ambiance pleasant, the menu alluring. It’s been a few months, so pardon me if I don’t remember exactly what we had to eat, suffice to say that the ‘Railway Curry’ was particularly outstanding. It was all top-notch. Enough to have me on the phone to my two brothers (who both live in Edinburgh) to recommend. Both my partner and I love our Indian food. This was of the highest quality.

The veggie pakora was delicious as was the chicken pathia, the garlic naan and the rice. However, we had a dish of chicken tikka and a chicken tikka masala and they were not impressive at all. The sauce was extremely sweet, almost like a sweet and sour and there was no spice to it. Bland and sweet. So, 5 stars for everything except the tikkas, they were a 2 at best. Really nice people and service though.
