Gulshan in Fife

Feel bad writing this but this is by far the worst Indian we've had in a long time....The chicken was hard to chew didn't taste anything like a pathia or t masala,the only nice things was the nans,I asked for dishes nit to be spicy my son struggled to eat ! Didn't listen to my request felt food was rushed out door i asked if xtra mango etc in box yes yes yes.No no no it wasnt,even though they had an hour to cook it! The worst 40£ iv spent.The place was dead should of known. Sorry I don't rate,we feel ill wasn't nice

Have used Gulshan for years but after a special meal for 5 yesterday evening was ruined by rude waiting staff I will not be back. Bill come to circa £180 and at their request was to be paid cash. Paid the bill, was going to leave a tip separately only for the rude waiter to shout across the restaurant "only £5 tip" I have never been so insulted in a restaurant. Also, watch your drinks- charging for spirits and only filling glass with mixer. The food was excellent but sadly the waiter was rude and the atmosphere was cold and quite. I suppose there is a reason we were the only table in the whole Saturday night.

One of the best meals I have had in a long time, it went down very well. Was dissapointed it was late, as the order was prebooked to be delivered for a specific time and was notified twice it would be late.

I was really disappointed with the time it took to be delivered but the food more than made up for it. The food was hot,fresh and delicious and the extras were a nice touch.

Ordered food to be ready for 1915. Arrived at the store at 1915. Was told it would be 5 mins. Received a text message from Just Eat at 1925 to say my order was ready. Finally collected my order at 2000. 45 mins after it should have been.

The food was swimming in oil. There was so much oil that it had spilled out of the containers and saturated the bag.

The food was tasty, nicely cooked, only the lamb wasn’t tender enough.

Food was delivered on time but cold and the curry was extremely oily. Would not recommend unfortunately.

Great collection as always but they forgot the rice in my order not a major thing as pulled out a microwave pack but still disappointing

Really sad to leave this review, but so disappointed - last two orders have been delivered late, so won't be ordering again. One went to the wrong address and when courier discovered their error they attempted to rectify, however, it meant that we were completely out of the loop, waiting and waiting for our food. The latest was simply delivered late - despite an update through the app, it was a further 30 mins late on top of that - and was cold upon arrival.

the base curry to two very different meals was incredibly heavy with cloves to the point all three of us couldn't finish our takeaway. really disappointed in Gulshan as it genuinelywas our favourite Indian restaurant. Been a customer for 10 years and this is the worst we have all tasted. very hesitant to order from here again as it used to be an expensive treat.

was ment to be delivered at 5:15 then was delayed, food arrived 30min later and almost everything was cold very disappointing as they are normally a decent takeaway

This was a great experience in Inverkeithing. The food is simply wonderful: the smell, the taste, the presentation of the dishes, simply perfect. I've already gone back today and I'll definitely go back several more times. I recommend everyone who likes to try good food and new flavors to try the restaurant's menu. I guarantee you'll fall in love with it just like I did. 100 ⭐️ to you.

First time trying here. Tasty and very flavorful. Lamb was tender.

Never had a bad meal from these guys! Portions are fantastic and the yellow sauce is the best thing I have tasted!

1hr 40 minutes from time of ordering. Food look warm vegetable pakora over cooked and cold naan bread just about edible. Really disappointed would have to think twice before ordering again.

Curry was ok, but nothing like a chasni at all. Was a completely different curry than I have always had when ordering a chasni, different colour and far hotter. Nan bread was dry and not pleasant.

Do not order from this restaurant. Ordered my food at 6.30 and still not here at 9pm. Disgraceful! First estimate was 7.05 to 7.25, next estimate 8.40, total joke!

Luke warm food at best, papadums soft, missing salad, masala sauce watery and tasteless. They did swap out the dessert for more pakora as requested but seriously this is the worst food I have ever had from the Gulshan and I have serious doubts I will eat from here again. Delivery driver when questioned on lateness said they were busy and he was only driver. Maybe that’s why my food was only Luke warm 1hr 40min from order. Save yourself from this misery and go somewhere else. Awful. 🤬🤬

The food was not as described. Not a single green pepper or tomato, instead, three pieces of red pepper and masses of onions. Disappointing.

Prices went up but the quality came down - frozen veg from the packet and skimping on spices. The result is semi flavoured watery mess. Containers still leaking sauce so you only get half of it. 5* for bread, rice and pakora 👌

ordered at 6:45, arrived at 8, everything is absolutely freezing. it tastes like it would be good if it was hot, never mind even slightly warm. cold curry is very off-putting when pregnant

Well, this was a very pleasant surprise, absolutely outstanding quality food, so fresh and the chicken was cooked to perfection, as was the lamb, just cooked, very tasty on the outside, very tender and juicy on the inside. Tasted fresh, clean, restaurant quality, not at all what I expected. Would definitely order again if I were in this area.
