Curry Heights in Fife

I have ordered three times from them and I guess this is the best time to write a review for Curry Heights in Inverkeithing. The food is delicious, portions are great and prices are reasonable. What impressed me is the consistency, three in a row and all time food was spot on!

This was the worst curry we've ever had. Sorry. Chewy chicken and sickly sweet sauce. That's not how a jalfrezi should taste. Not one whole fresh chilli in it. Garlic naan was just a naan with some garlic paste smeared onto it. Chicken pakora had no hint of flavour. Nothing like what we expected from the amazing reviews. Who writes them ?

While on vacation, we decided to have a takeaway curry one night & Curry Heights did not disappoint. They took a risk on our order because of the unusual phone number & them getting prank orders, which is so sad. Our order was ready when we arrived for pick up & they were very friendly & courteous. The food was spectacular & enjoyed by all of us. There was enough food for at least 8 people & there were only 4 of us.

We’ve been getting deliveries for a while now, and the quality is surprisingly good. Delicious food, quick delivery, bonus treats sometimes. Really happy with we have good local Indian. Recommend it👍🏻

Best Indian food in North Queensferry area!! Biryani had lage portion of lamb and was made of fine basmati. Their lamb chops were drooling tender. They sent papadom with order without any extra charge.

Used to be a delivery driver in 2019 now I come here for a takeaway now and again the best chiken korma grate guys

I felt so happy to get my excellent meal (rice with prowns). The owner kindly helped me to connect to internet. We had small nice chat with him and his wife while I was waiting for my order… my review of food - excellent! Can’t wait to come back again into this oasis and order other Indian meals ! After trying loads of Indian takeaways in the Rosyth/Inverkeithing area, we tried Curry Heights for the first time, and all i can say is WOW. What a great little place. The food is absolutely incredible and the people running it are lovely. best in the area by far, definitely need to give it a go!

Tried this curry house for the first time tonight on my sons recommendation and so glad I did, we got a very warm reception when we entered the premises which is always a good start, we ordered on line and it was ready for the time we stipulated on the order, ordered the set meal for one which was definitely plentiful, in fact couldn’t finish all of it and had to freeze some of it . Had the veg pakora and the chicken tikka masala with basmati rice , and poppooms , very tasty and would definitely recommend this curry house and we will be back .

I recently ordered from Curry Heights in Edinburgh and I was blown away by the quality of the food. From the Chicken Biriyani to the Naga Curry to the Mixed Kebab (St), every item was full of flavor and absolutely delicious. It's an amazing Indian restaurant. I live nearby, I often come here to have lunch with friends. I like everything here very much. It's tasty and not expensive. Good service. I recommend this place if you're in the area.

We ordered for 30 people on Boxing Day. Staff so helpful in arranging order in advance. Food was delicious and excellent value. Great mix of meat and vegetable curry options.

Loveliest people you could ever hope to meet run this takeaway. Great chat and last time we went they stayed open later than advertised to accommodate our order. Great value, lovely naan bread and very decent curries, especially for the price. Recommended to anyone.

Just had a takeaway. Had the Lamb chops and onion Bhaji to start. Plus popadoms of course. We had butter chicken and garlic chilli chicken as Mains. Garlic naan with pilar rice. The whole meal was outstanding. I highly recommend the lamb chops. Can’t wait for my next visit. Thank you so much for an amazing experience.

Best food I’ve had in a long time

The gentleman that owns this shop is always so friendly. I was given a mango smoothie kind of drink when purchasing a meal once. The last delivery I had was exceptional.

Ordered and received food within 15 minutes of walking in the door. Nice and hot, full of flavour, and not greasy at all. My Uncle got the chicken Tikka Masala which was really nice and coconutty, and I got a vegetable bhuna, which was very flavourful. Onion bhajis were a perfect consistency. Ordered on the strength of the reviews, expecting something special. Sadly it's a pretty standard "meat and sauce" Indian takeaway, relying too much on salt and food colouring rather than rich, flavoursome curry recipes. Had the lamb Rogan Josh and chicken jalfrezi - both meats had that less-than-fresh rubbery texture. Peshwari naan was good though.

Came here for a takeaway as was staying in the area for the night. Was very impressed with the quality of the food. The Garlic Naan bread is massive and it is very tasty! Also the staff are very police and courteous. Will return if i'm in the area again

Ordered a takeaway from here, first point was the warm reception when picking up. Staff were nice and cheerful. Back to food, got a mix box of starters which were excellent quality and very tasty. Main course was a lamb biryani, which again had good quality meat. The sauce was OK, and next time may try something slightly different. Overall great experience and will go back.

The food here is phenomenal. Some of the best Indian food I’ve eaten. The pricing is very reasonable. You get a lot for what you pay for. The staff are very friendly. I highly recommend eating here.

First class service good food can recommend

I had to order last minute for 15 very hungry adult. After 1.5 hours we received our delicious food piping hot delivered to our doorstep. These are rice, naan, 15 portions tandoori chicken , lamb jalfrezi and butter chicken. You have made us all very happy customers . Thank you. Will buy again.

Can’t recommend curry heights enough. Not only is their food fantastic and great sized portions, but their service is outstanding. We will not go anywhere else now!!

Great care and kindness given with ensuring order was correct and ready at time of collection. (Meal for 4) Packaged very professionally and food stayed hot on journey home. Meals were delicious but sadly just a little too sweet for my personal taste. I'm sure I could request less sweet next time as service outstanding! I would recommend.

Ordered through Uber Eats and received an email 45 mins later confirming that the order was cancelled. I spoke to Curry Heights and was told that because they couldn't find my address (even though it's in the confirmation email) they decided to cancel the order, and also admitted that they don't have time to contact the customer so they just cancel the order... but they were happy with advising me to reorder it (and paying twice) for the order. Scam.

Best curry place in the whole of Fife. Staff are extremely friendly and cater to your dietary needs, just ask. If you want to experience genuine authentic Indian cuisine then look no further than Curry Heights, you definitely won't be disappointed.

Arrived in Delgaty Bay this evening. Stop over on way home from Skye. Picked this restaurant for a takeaway as close to us, within delivery radius and most importantly, good reviews of their food on TA. So pleased with our food. Had 2 vege dishes, chilli garlic prawn dish, naan and rice. Arrived on time. Piping hot, really good sized portions, compared to Birmingham. Dishes were all so tasty. So pleased! Really good high quality Indian food and great service. Recommend.

The lamb is always so tender, the Goan fish curry is delicate but full of flavour and the classic Bhuna is rich with warm spice and a real depth of flavour.....oh...and don’t get me started on their tandoori mixed grill and wonderful Indian breads 😋 You can tell these guys take pride in their food with every bite. Not like the usual Indian takeaway using the same bland base sauce. Their gravy’s and sauces are all different and all really flavoursome...not just hot. We are lucky to have the guys at Curry Heights on our doorstep and I hope they remain around here for a very long time. 🍛😋👌🏻

Made a large order on Christmas Eve, it was ready within 20 mins and every dish was magnificent. We had different chicken, lamb and veggie meals all well prepared and so delicious.

In the area for a few days, this take away curry house was just a couple of doors away. Haggis & lamb pakora to start, large portion! Unusual & tasty. Lamb jalfrezi for main, loads of meat & lovely sauce. I tried the chilli & honey chips instead of rice which were okay, but a bit too much honey perhaps? Rest of party enjoyed their meals too. Healthy portions & good value, £35 for 3 of us is excellent value.

We tried this place and we had a Munchy box and it was the worst box I’ve ever had. There were 2 bits of tikka,2 bhajis,2 seek kebab half pieces,tiny amounts of what I think was Pakora and to fill the remaining gap in the box they filled it with chewy chips and only charged me £12 for it!! My wife had a Dhansak and said it was ok so only reason I’m giving 2 stars. Very expensive place to eat.

Was looking for an Indian and saw the reviews for this place on Just Eat and Tripadvisor and seemed seemed positive. We ordered 2 different chicken curry’s and both of them had the most disgusting chicken I’ve ever had. Overly cooked so far it was ridiculous. The sauce was nice which is the only reason this prevented a 1 star review. The Naan was also not very good, too thick and lacking in any peshwari flavour. Overall really disappointing!!!

Have now had a few take aways / deliveries from this restaurant and can honestly say the food is really tasty. Really quality food at a good price and portion size ideal for us. Love the chicken pakoras and onion baji as starters. Delivery has always been before stated time as well with lovely delivery people.

We had no idea that this absolute gem of a takeaway had opened. We only chose to order as they were open before others, I'm so glad we did! First order was a chicken Tikka masala, rice, chicken pakora and naan. It was exceptional! I'd definitely recommend Curry Heights to anyone that asks, it's now top of our Curry takeaway options. We'll be ordering again very soon (tonight)!

Friendly accommodating staff. Comparable price with other Indian takeaways. Nice curry lamb dish though the lamb a little dry. Curry sauce tasted ok but lacking a bit of depth and balance. Better elsewhere in price range but still a safe option for a decent bog...

Decided to give this new takeaway and try and were not disappointed. Very traditional tasting dishes, fab dip selection, kids loved korma, lovely rice, tasty nan tikka masala but too spicy for the little people. Great friendly service, well cooked food and speedy service.

Well I myself loved the food as did a lot of the customers in the pub who were given the chance to try some of the things from the menu. Two nights in a row I have eaten from here and it has been beautiful.
