We had the chicken tikka and chicken 65 starters, followed by the chicken tikka dosa and lamb punjabi The food and service was excellent, we just turned up and were lucky we picked a great time to come. We arrived at 6.45pm and by 8.30pm it was full mobbed. Great place and highly recommend!

First visit on recommendation lovely warm restaurant and lovely staff on a busy Friday night . Menu choices different from other Indian restaurants I’ve eaten in but lovely choices on menu . I went for honey chilli cauliflower starter absolutely delicious then grill for 1 main course again very tasty but for me the curry sauce let it down it was a bit like tomato soup . The Naan breads were amazing light & crispy . The fish pakora my Husband had was also delicious as was the Garlic Chilli curry 😜 staff are attentive and prices are very reasonable I would definitely go again when in the area .

Regular attender at Himali and the food is always delicious, great service always very polite and professional. The restaurant is comfortable and there are plenty of choices the haggis pakora is tasty, the chicken tikka and madras curries are also a favourite. Surprisingly the restaurant is never crowded. Recommend Himali for a good meal and excellent value for money.

I liked the hospitality. Taste wise we liked the Indian food. They serve both veg and non veg. The parking space is sufficient. We were a group of 16 and we reached quite late at around half past ten and still they were eager to serve us.

ok so my gf recommended me this place she’s been before and she said that a couple dishes were good but the chicken wrap was poor. So screw it we went again. I’ve just been on holiday to india so was eating some really good chill paneer. I think the one here was expired because it was disgusting. It was rubbery (not texture but an actually rubber) and tough upon bite. This is a characteristic of an expired paneer. Anyway the veg dishes r decent and service was good. They also did not charge us for the paneer, which is appreciated. However, getting non-expire paneer would have been cool. Anyway, nice decorations.

I am not in the habit of doing this but felt beyond disappointed. The Sag had no flavour. It was like tasteless spinach soup with potatoes. The Rogan Josh had fluorescent red tasteless sauce as did the other dish. Chapati was fine. The delivery person was polite. When I phoned the manager I was offered a replacement for one dish or credit. I looked forward to real a Rogan Josh but sent it back because it tasted the same as the first neon red dish. £42.50 for one of the worst take aways I have ever had.
