The tapas menu has lots of delicious dishes to choose from. We were also served complimentary soup which was delicious. Everything was amazing, would highly recommend.

Honest pros and cons review: Firstly I want to say it was an overall great experience with friendly staff and amazing food. Please don’t let the following criticism keep you from trying the food. Now for the drawbacks: the plates, glasses, and silverware were, to put it frankly, dirty. Not the they didn’t wash it dirty, but more the dishwasher they used missed a spot here and there. The waiter and manager were quick to get new dinner ware, however, the issue persisted as there was grease residue even on the replacements and food particles stuck on some of the replacements. I’m a frequent Waffle House goer so some grease won’t stop me from trying the food and let me tell you, it was awesome. We ordered mango lassis, mango chicken tikka, butter chicken, and chicken tiki masala along with some regular and garlic naan. The food was amazing, the mango chicken tikka especially. The staff was very friendly, including the manager who was constantly going to all the tables to ensure our dining experience was the best it could be. After speaking with him he explained they just opened back up today (9/25/2024 or 25/9/2024) after being closed for two weeks and needed until Friday (9/27/2024 or 27/9/2024) to have WiFi set back up. I am very inclined to say the cleanliness issue will be resolved soon.

Increíble pequeño restaurante de gestión familiar, el servicio fue rápido y amable con ellos comprobando que nuestra comida era buena durante cada curso. Teníamos la pakora mixta y todas estaban deliciosas, yo comí un pollo tikka masala mientras que mi pareja tomó un cordero rogan josh que disfrutamos los dos. Las porciones están bien dimensionadas y buena relación calidad-precio. Tengo la sensación de que volveremos antes de salir de la ciudad.

Delicious food and great value for money will defo be back

Managed to get a table easily at Sunday tea time and got really quick and friendly service from Saamiya. Nice and cosy inside and the food was delicious. I especially recommend trying the Marsala tots and the cauliflower pakora - we ended up ordering seconds as it was all so tasty. Also managed to get parked easily close by.

Sorry it’s taken so long to post this review as I thought I had but hadn’t! If you want a delicious meal with great service and ambience the you must go here!! 3 of us booked on a Wednesday afternoon at 2.30 and we were running a wee bit late but that was not a problem . The two young lads that served us were great, advising us on some things to help us choose. We had 3 pints of Kingfisher ( as you do) then poppadoms and chutneys which were fantastic. Starters were 1 x prawn and 2 x chicken dishes, ( we all had a taste of everything) absolutely delish and the accompanying sauces were great. Mains, 1 x Goan prawn dish, 1 x Monkfish dish and 1 x chicken dish with rice, nan etc. again, fantastic! We all agreed that it was probably the best Indian meal we had ever had. We even got to meet the chef/ owner who was lovely. We tried to book for last week but they were on holiday, but we will be back soon!!

We were recommended this restaurant by a guest at our hotel, and with good reason. The room is warm, colourful and comfortable, the staff very welcoming and the food is delicious. My daughter and I shared 2 house speciality curries with vegetables - both incredibly tasty - a fantastic garlic and coriander naan and rice. This was plenty of food for two. The omnivores in our group went for a couple of chicken curries which they loved and the peshwari naan was amazing. Great food topped off with friendly service and a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Hidden Gem off an India restaurant. Staying at the double tree across the road, came for the pre theatre menu, £14.99, you can add items on for an extra pice. Food was lovely, hot and tasty. We will defiantly return 😊

Took my Dad here last night for a meal after a concert and it was outstanding! Made to feel VERY welcome right from the off and the food was so damn good! Loads of it, piping hot and very very tasty! Definitely be back, thanks so much guys! 🤩

Shanaz waa el único restaurante en Escocia que era el "Mejor" Sr. Latif estaría tan molesto por la forma en que "SU" orgullo y alegría se está llevando a cabo ahora, recalentado los currys de pakora no como solían ser, y el personal no se preocupa por los clientes, lamentablemente después de casi 50 años nuestros días de cena en Shanaz ha terminado!

The food was absolutely fantastic, very tasty, the service was spot on, couldn't ask for anymore. The staff were very friendly, helpful & an absolute credit to the business.
