Superb cooking by the chef and wonderful prompt service with a smile. The flavours and tastes were intense, with an exceptional lamb saag and the keema nan was a small miracle in itself, light crisp and fruity. I was made very welcome in this family owned enterprise which has been going for about a year. It deserves to succeed, especially as Finnieston seems to have a fair share of Indian restaurants. I noted they offer corkage of you take your own wine etc, but the wine served was very good with a generous glass

Visited this restaurant for first time on Friday 14th July . We were there mid afternoon so a quiet time . Service was so friendly and welcoming. Food delicious. I ordered from the main menu, my partner from the set menu . We both thoroughly enjoyed the food and a nice bottle of wine to accompany it . Will certainly go back .

Superb Indian food, crispy and moist onion bajee, big depth of flavour in the Lamb Buna, snappy poppadoms, fragrant pilau rice and sweet Gulab jama with ice-cream. All first class

Lovely relaxed setting in finnieston area of Glasgow . The services was warm and friendly and efficient. We started with the mixed pakora which was delicious - fish pakora in particular was really nice. Our mains of lamb Desi and chicken byriana with a side of mushroom rice and plain Nan was super . Would highly recommend- been to a number of Indian restaurants in Glasgow and had not known about this one - worth a visit .

First impression is welcoming however this is let down by food that is lacking in flavour. Pilau rice was heated up in the microwave and receiving it 10 minutes after our mains were served. Unimpressed . We also witnessed a workman standing on the food prep area and reaching up into the ceiling to do repairs. Unhygienic to say the least. First time I've tried this restaurant and it will be last. We weren't the only ones in the restaurant that didn't enjoy our meal on that night. Would have been better buying a pot noodle and saving our money

The set-menu lunch special is excellent value for money and the food was delicious! Mushroom parkora to start and chicken chasni for main with pilau rice and naan bread = all fabulous! Portions were ample and there were no objections when we asked for a "doggy bag" Service was seamless and prompt.

Ordered the chicken curry in the menu. Came with just one piece of chicken in the entire curry.

I found this restaurant through instagram and I had to go and try the Pakora. I was not disappointed. The restaurant is a short bus ride from the centre of the city. I dined early in the evening and the restaurant was quite busy. I was quickly seated. The menu was already on the table. With a wide selection of pakora and other dishes from the frier. Some small plates and a good selection of Homestyle curries. In the end I plumped for the Haggis Pakora. Something I had never tried before and I certainly was not disappointed with my selection. It was delicious. I was tempted for a second plate. For my main dish I plumped for a Lamb bhoona and some Paratha. The meat was well cooked and full of flavour. It was well worth seeking out this restaurant. I will return again next time I visit Glasgow.
