Dumpukht in Glasgow City

I recently visited Dumpukht Lahori to satisfy my craving for authentic Lahori flavors, and the experience was fantastic. I tried their Vegetable Pakora, Chicken Pakora, and Fish Pakora. Each bite was a burst of flavor—the vegetable pakoras were crispy, the chicken pakoras juicy, and the fish pakoras perfectly spiced. While enjoying this delicious food, I remembered I needed to send money back home. Thankfully, with Remit Choice, I was able to complete the transaction effortlessly right from my phone. The convenience of handling something so important while indulging in such tasty snacks made my visit even better. Great food, great vibes, and an easy way to stay connected with loved ones. Lamb karahi is tasty dellicious!

Coming from London and finding a homely restaurant is a blessing. The food was amazing and the service was very family like. Loved the extra kick of spice as you don't get that often when you are eating out. Negative: The portion was too big for one person. There should be choice of smaller portions as its difficult to finish for one person. The table could do with cleaning.

After a long journey from Bolton, tired, hungry , we found this gem of a spot to eat! we absolutely lovely food! Cooked with perfection mastered by chef aqeel shah and served by Ali. Lovely chaps! Thoroughly enjoyed Lahori channey! A must try! I added extra spice to mine with a kick of green chillies, they looked after us well! A must try!

Loved the biriyani which was served hot, perfect for a wholesome meal in cold and rainy weather. However I felt the portion size could have been more.

Great authentic food at reasonable price. Great flavours and freshly cooked. Not fussed for the traditional music but okay for a wee while. Menu not that big but great selection for everyone. I'd rather sacrifice choice for flavor. Would recommend and definitely be back when in town again.

Had a lahori chicken karahi and it was amazing. Cooked fresh and served with butter nan. Never had this soft and tender meat well marinated and cooked to perfection even while living in Karachi or Lahore. Weldone and keep it going well. A must visit again when in glasgow

Really enjoyed being over there. The food was amaxinf at this small and cozy place. The staff was attentive and professional with quick service. There is ample on street parking. We had the chicken karahi which was out of this world! Jave heard about their steamed - Daighi chicken....but sadly that was sold out. Really happy with them and excellent food.

We arrived after closing time but they still let us sit in and the food is 10/10 highly recommended thanks once again and will be back……

Food quality was not good and portions was very small and they charged too much over charged

Came from london , read the reviews (paid probably) food was okayish but what was jaw dropping was the bill . Probably 3 pounds for 3 baby spoons of yogurt and 3 pound for 1 simple naan. Place is really dirty with white sofas turned black.

Gran servicio y buen servicio. Éramos tres cenando, compartimos el especial de chefs de cordero, el pollo biryani, y un plato de lentejas, además de una parrilla mixta y tres naans de ajo. Todos los platos tenían sabores increíbles y estaban muy bien cocinados. Sin duda volveré para probar más de los platos que se ofrecen. También había un montón de platos vegetarianos interesantes que voy a probar.

We came here after a very long drive and we were expecting excellent service and some very good food as per the reviews. However, we were met with an arrogant lady who rolled her eyes when we tried to order. We then sat down in a decrepit building where there was no hygiene standard and spiders were dangling from the roof. We received the food, and the barbecue platter tasted like I was eating a tyre, it was purely repulsive. The karahai was okay, but the daal was horrendous. The only good thing that could come out of this experience was the fresh naan, and it billed to a very high sum which was very outrageous. The music also was very loud, and we requested to turn it off and was told that they didn't have any control over it. Simply ridiculous. I warn you all, please do not come here if you want to sit in a place that has spiders and the walls and ceiling falling off.

Freshly made food but quality of mutton is questionable. The serving lady looks overburdened. They must pay attention to cleaning and interior. I witnessed left over salad iceberg was put again in the stock. Late night open is a plus but plz do the corrections immediately. Price quality of roti/naan is mismatched.

Wonderful Lahori cuisine that is always a delight to experience. Really strong vegetarian options - the Chana and Dahl are always exceptional. The lamb Karahi is a triamph and personal highlight. This place is a rugged jewel. I totally recommend it!

If you are looking for something delicious, this is a great place to visit, The food was extremely well seasoned and had a good level of spiciness, meat was cooked on the bone and falling apart tender. For four people we ordered one meat, two veg, a biryani and three breads, it was the perfect amount of food and came to just under 70 quid (with drinks.) can't imagine better value for money in this part of town. 10/10, will be coming back next time I'm visiting Glasgow (and I might make it more regularly now that I know this restaurant.
