It's been great experience with dumpukht lahori resturant we went after searching for nice food after having the food and service I must recommend this place for number of reasons service great food was absolutely what I was looking typical traditional pakistani food style and great taste The guy on the table service and order Ali was very nice and Hamble so as the Chef Mr shah was amazing cooking skills and was super amazed with the use of fresh food herbs and over all experience They were both very keen to give good service I spoke with chef and really appreciated for his food cooking skills as I was happy so as my other friend who never been in such a place I must give.them 5 star rating based on the experience as this was my first time to this place and would recommend to other to atlest try once and you will have great experience and taste. And prices are very reasonable for such a nice taste i must say.i was very happy for tongive any amout of tips for the service and food I got Best wishes.

We had craving for good food at Glasgow and then we found a dum pukht where we find delicious food in variety and It was great experience.

Must visit. The food was super delicious, we went to Glasgow from London for the first time, we saw few reviews and decided to visit this place for dinner, food was excellent, fresh cooked food, with a great service.

Not recommended. Food was not good. Very spicy and have no taste. Biryani literally was very spicy with zero taste, looks like they just mixed the spicy chicken gravy with colored boiled rice. Chicken karahi was also spicy and have so much black pepper in it. The restaurant was all empty. Will not go again.

The Payee were rich, tender, and packed with flavour, cooked to perfection. The Halwa Puri combo was equally delicious: crispy puris, flavourful chana, and perfectly sweet Suji halwa. Everything was fresh, well-balanced, and full of that authentic desi taste. Highly recommend for a fulfilling and nostalgic breakfast. Will definitely be coming back!

We went in tonight got lamb chops and chicken skewers and a rice cost 20 quid asked for a bread says no left u didn’t order so can’t give I well I want to order he says no sorry ha okay thanks big table was in of Asians etc and Pakistani like they where more concerned about those tbh we had 3 lamb chops and one skewer with lettuce and cucumber honestly 😂😅 man and rice was £20 u couldnt make it up should have ordered the mixed grill at least get bread so bad man I wont be back and just treat all costumers the same Dosnt matter about religion just shocking And hope they realize end of cheers 👍

Pasé de camino a casa después de un largo día, a la media hora de cerrar y honestamente esperaba que me rechazaran debido a la hora de la noche. Me recibieron con calidez, hermosa música meditativa y un espíritu de generosidad. Les dije la comida que me gustaba, anticipando un menú restringido, pero me quedé impresionado con su entusiasmo por cocinarla fresca para mí – incluso me pidieron mi preferencia por las especias – y a diferencia de otros lugares cuya noción de "suave" está ardiendo caliente, la comida estaba completamente en su punto con mi tolerancia a las especias. Pedí palak paneer y dos rotis y no podía creer la calidad de la comida. Sabía INCREÍBLE y probablemente fue uno de los mejores platos palak paneer que he probado. Esta experiencia superó con creces mis expectativas para una comida nocturna tan cerca de la hora de cierre. Me encanta este lugar y sin duda volveré! ¡Gracias de nuevo chicos!

Very good food and a nice atmosphere. Unique naans and a glass of mango lassi actually a small jug. Generally big portions. Medium spicy was a bit too spicy for me so pay attention to your preferences. We ate for 42 do for two, but it was more of a three people size supper.

I went here without any expectations, turned out to be a good decision, so had to go here another evening when I was in Glasgow Had Magaz fry ( have not seen it in anay desi restaurant in uk in last 6 years) and Lahori fish with garlic naan and raita. Everything was absolutely brilliant! On the second evening had daal fry with roti ( proper desi style) with irn Bru Wanted to try Deggi chargha but unfortunately it was not available Got the biryani and mixed grill and will take it back with me Absolutely wonderful experience Ali was very polite and had a smile on his face while serving Wish I could try more things from the menu

Amazing experience Ali & team provided a very warm welcome and we stayed their for almost 2 hours just for the reason the way they have provided the services. Very lovely authentic restaurant. Came here for my kid’s birthday with family and the food and service was amazing. Lamb mutton karahi was very tender and juicy. Chicken seekh kebab were very nice and fresh. Food was served fresh to order. Also got some naan breads and some chapatis, naan bread was very fluffy. Tarka daal had a very authentic tandoori taste. They also had some nice authentic desserts we did infact get some gulab jaman and gajar halwa. Would definitely recommend this place, for family and it is very affordable

I recently tried dumpukht with my friend, and I must say it was amazing. The chicken Karahi was incredibly spicy, and I absolutely loved the clean environment and friendly staff.

I was visiting Glasgow for work and this place did not fail to impress. The lamb curry was one of the best i have had in a long time. I was served by Ali who gave top notch customer service.

If you are a true desi food lover, this is a restaurant you must try. The staff is super friendly in helping with almost everything. They go out of their way to make you feel special.Everything was served within a decent timeframe. Love the atmospheric ambience. 10/10 food must try.

We went with family on new year's night, from Edinburgh to Glasgow. The atmosphere was purely that of Pakistan's remote area, including the seating and cutlery. The songs were Pakistani old punjabi songs. It was bad. We ordered karahi, tikka, fish, naan etc. Food had even Pakistani salad plates, which actually made us feel like we're sitting in a small town. The quantity was less, but still the taste was good and enjoyable. Not like fancy restaurants, but like standard GT road restaurants. Then came the bill, which was RIDICULOUS. It was £180. They even charged us for the iceberg onion salad plates. £8 for a small glass (200ml) of lassi. The bill was badly hand-written on a small piece of paper (as I said, pure Pakistani style) Everything in the restaurant seemed unusual given it's in Glasgow. I had forgiven everything if the bill wasn't that ridiculous. We were then 90% confident that it's just a set up for money laundering. We ruined our new year's night. I wish I could go back in time to save that much money.

Poorly maintained. Overcharging a lot and not even giving a proper computerised receipt. No proof of any VAT or anything.

Probably the best lamb Karahi I had in UK, seating needs a bit improvement but their good food compensate for that.

Dumpukht Lahori is a gem for authentic Pakistani cuisine! The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a great dining experience. We tried the **Nahari, Dhaal Tadka, and Lamb Karahi**, and all were exceptional. The Nahari was rich and flavorful, the Dhaal Tadka comforting, and the Lamb Karahi absolutely delicious. The staff were attentive, and the food was served fresh and hot. Highly recommended.

We had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. We ordered chicken biryani, roti, and chicken karahi—all of which were bursting with incredible flavours.
