One of the best lamb curries i have ever had. Decor is a bit dated but the staff and owner very nice and friendly. The food is was perfect 👌 I will definitely go back to this restaurant and highly recommend a visit if you prefer good food to fancy surroundings.

I travel often and always make time to explore Pakistani restaurants wherever I go and this one seriously impressed me. The reviews were promising, but the food far exceeded expectations. The chef, originally from Lahore, clearly knows what he’s doing. His training and experience are evident in every bite. You wouldn’t guess it from the understated decor, but the moment you taste the chicken karahi, you’ll know you’re in the hands of someone who truly understands flavor. It’s like a direct flight to Lahore - no boarding pass needed! It’s rare to find food outside Pakistan that not only matches but sometimes even outshines what you’d get back in Pakistan. This place gets it right!

We were three friends who visited this restaurant, and the experience was very disappointing. The food quality was poor — the BBQ was badly burned, and the quantity in both the chicken karhai and the family sharing platter was very limited. The hygiene was also an issue; our table was not clean. There was only one person managing everything, from taking orders to serving food, which led to a long wait of over an hour before we received our order. Overall, it was a frustrating experience. Definitely not recommended.

We have a lot of good authentic karahi places in london. So while here in Glasgow i was a bit skeptical. However I tried this place out and got to say it’s pretty decent. Authentic Pakistani karahi. So good I’ve come back a 2nd time in 3 days.

I ordered a dish called Lahori Fish and received battered nuggets. Tried calling the restaurant and no response. This is absolutely unacceptable and outrageous. £12 for 5 battered nuggets. Absolutely disgraceful.

I recently visited Dampukht Lahori and had an amazing experience! I ordered the lamb karahi, and it was absolutely delicious — rich in flavor, perfectly cooked, and full of authentic taste. The spices were just right, and the meat was incredibly tender. On top of the great food, the service was phenomenal. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. Highly recommended for anyone craving quality Pakistani uisine!

Considering all the other food places I tried in Glasgow I wasn't expecting much but was blown away by the tasty authentic Lahori food! Very fresh and aromatic and waiter was very polite. Strongly recommend otherwise you'll be missing out.

Visited for the first time with my partner today. The service was so friendly and polite; we were made to feel really welcome. The food was delicious and authentic. In particular the lamb karahi (Peshwari style) was absolutely excellent - I would go back just for that on its own! The other dishes pictured are Lahori fish, til (sesame) naan, and garlic naan.

Being Pakistani, I’m always on the lookout for that proper, authentic karahi taste – and honestly, this place did not disappoint. The flavours were on point, just like back home. Easily one of the best karahis I’ve had in Glasgow. Definitely recommend it if you’re craving real desi food!

Unreal cooking here, it’s as if you’re being cooked for in a family kitchen. Such heart and wholesome, home cooking. The Lamb Lahori Karahi is full of flavour, deep umami thorough out and layers of taste that hit you at different points. The lamb is tender and comes off of the done without trying. You have to get a freshly made garlic naan (or 3) to go with it and mop up all the Kahari. You can get the spice level to whatever you want, and getting spicier doesn’t mean a loss in flavour in the slightest. Some places add heat for the sake of it, whereas here it just enriches the already rich taste. Well worth a visit!

The type of place where you’re going for real genuine food! We luckily happened to stumble across the restaurant on Google Maps when passing by the area as it was open till later than other desi places nearby. From the pictures their dishes also seemed authentic too and I’m so glad we went! Having toured and camped across the highlands for the past week, we were absolutely craving some authentic desi food. Thankfully, we got what we wanted! I would recommend their Lahori lamb kharai, the mango lassi’s are nice but beware the individual jugs are massive and their rotis / naans are cooked perfectly and not burnt. Having had a look into the kitchen when paying and across other tables, all their dishes seem to be tasty and individually cooked rather than a generic sauce being mixed across a range of dishes. Their hospitality was very nice too especially considering how close to their closing time we arrived.

It's been great experience with dumpukht lahori resturant we went after searching for nice food after having the food and service I must recommend this place for number of reasons service great food was absolutely what I was looking typical traditional pakistani food style and great taste The guy on the table service and order Ali was very nice and Hamble so as the Chef Mr shah was amazing cooking skills and was super amazed with the use of fresh food herbs and over all experience They were both very keen to give good service I spoke with chef and really appreciated for his food cooking skills as I was happy so as my other friend who never been in such a place I must give.them 5 star rating based on the experience as this was my first time to this place and would recommend to other to atlest try once and you will have great experience and taste. And prices are very reasonable for such a nice taste i must say.i was very happy for tongive any amout of tips for the service and food I got Best wishes.

One of the best sinfully divine dishes I ever had genuinely it’s was so delicious ,I can’t hold my hands off eating it ,I just cherished each and every single bite of it…

The Payee were rich, tender, and packed with flavour, cooked to perfection. The Halwa Puri combo was equally delicious: crispy puris, flavourful chana, and perfectly sweet Suji halwa. Everything was fresh, well-balanced, and full of that authentic desi taste. Highly recommend for a fulfilling and nostalgic breakfast. Will definitely be coming back!

Not recommended. Food was not good. Very spicy and have no taste. Biryani literally was very spicy with zero taste, looks like they just mixed the spicy chicken gravy with colored boiled rice. Chicken karahi was also spicy and have so much black pepper in it. The restaurant was all empty. Will not go again.

We went in tonight got lamb chops and chicken skewers and a rice cost 20 quid asked for a bread says no left u didn’t order so can’t give I well I want to order he says no sorry ha okay thanks big table was in of Asians etc and Pakistani like they where more concerned about those tbh we had 3 lamb chops and one skewer with lettuce and cucumber honestly 😂😅 man and rice was £20 u couldnt make it up should have ordered the mixed grill at least get bread so bad man I wont be back and just treat all costumers the same Dosnt matter about religion just shocking And hope they realize end of cheers 👍

Me recibieron con calidez, hermosa música meditativa y un espíritu de generosidad. Les dije la comida que me gustaba, anticipando un menú restringido, pero me quedé impresionado con su entusiasmo por cocinarla fresca para mí – incluso me pidieron mi preferencia por las especias – y a diferencia de otros lugares cuya noción de "suave" está ardiendo caliente, la comida estaba completamente en su punto con mi tolerancia a las especias. Pedí palak paneer y dos rotis y no podía creer la calidad de la comida. Sabía INCREÍBLE y probablemente fue uno de los mejores platos palak paneer que he probado. Esta experiencia superó con creces mis expectativas para una comida nocturna tan cerca de la hora de cierre. Me encanta este lugar y sin duda volveré! ¡Gracias de nuevo chicos!

Very good food and a nice atmosphere. Unique naans and a glass of mango lassi actually a small jug. Generally big portions. Medium spicy was a bit too spicy for me so pay attention to your preferences. We ate for 42 do for two, but it was more of a three people size supper.

I went here without any expectations, turned out to be a good decision, so had to go here another evening when I was in Glasgow Had Magaz fry ( have not seen it in anay desi restaurant in uk in last 6 years) and Lahori fish with garlic naan and raita. Everything was absolutely brilliant! On the second evening had daal fry with roti ( proper desi style) with irn Bru Wanted to try Deggi chargha but unfortunately it was not available Got the biryani and mixed grill and will take it back with me Absolutely wonderful experience Ali was very polite and had a smile on his face while serving Wish I could try more things from the menu

Very lovely authentic restaurant. Came here for my kid’s birthday with family and the food and service was amazing. Lamb mutton karahi was very tender and juicy. Chicken seekh kebab were very nice and fresh. Food was served fresh to order. Also got some naan breads and some chapatis, naan bread was very fluffy. Tarka daal had a very authentic tandoori taste. They also had some nice authentic desserts we did infact get some gulab jaman and gajar halwa. Would definitely recommend this place, for family and it is very affordable
