It was a surprise to see it downstairs and quiet. The food was excellent and the service very attentive. We were helped getting a taxi which we appreciated very much

Delicious authentic Indian food. They gave us a complimentary soup to start with which was delicious. Definitely one of the most authentic Indian restaurants we've been to and we try out alot. Staff were attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back.

I love Indian food from a basic balti house to a high end fusion bonanza. With that context, this was the BEST Indian food I have had in a long time! The flavours were sublime, with a focus on light, but well layered spicing to create a complexity of flavours. There were items on the menu I had never tried before and they did not disappoint. The lamb melted in the mouth & it was abundant. Oh & the complimentary vegetable soup was divine & I want that recipe!!! On top of all that, the staff were simply lovely & the pricing was very reasonable. I highly recommend this place & I’m gutted I was only visiting Glasgow overnight. Please come & open a restaurant in Leicester…

Great food and great service 5 ⭐ worth a visit if along this end of Sauchiehall St . We had the pre theatre deal and it was great value

Honest pros and cons review: Firstly I want to say it was an overall great experience with friendly staff and amazing food. Please don’t let the following criticism keep you from trying the food. Now for the drawbacks: the plates, glasses, and silverware were, to put it frankly, dirty. Not the they didn’t wash it dirty, but more the dishwasher they used missed a spot here and there. The waiter and manager were quick to get new dinner ware, however, the issue persisted as there was grease residue even on the replacements and food particles stuck on some of the replacements. I’m a frequent Waffle House goer so some grease won’t stop me from trying the food and let me tell you, it was awesome. We ordered mango lassis, mango chicken tikka, butter chicken, and chicken tiki masala along with some regular and garlic naan. The food was amazing, the mango chicken tikka especially. The staff was very friendly, including the manager who was constantly going to all the tables to ensure our dining experience was the best it could be. After speaking with him he explained they just opened back up today (9/25/2024 or 25/9/2024) after being closed for two weeks and needed until Friday (9/27/2024 or 27/9/2024) to have WiFi set back up. I am very inclined to say the cleanliness issue will be resolved soon.

Visited last night for the first time. Lovely restaurant with fantastic staff. Food was delicious and great portion sizes (Pre Theatre), fantastic value for money. My partner did find his dish a little sweet but that’s just personal taste. Pakora was lovely, everything was very fresh. We were even given a complimentary drink which was really unexpected but very much appreciated. We will definitely return.

The other day I see an advertisement for Glassy Central on Social media and it was advertising a three course lunch for £7.95 or an executive lunch for £8.95 so I headed up to the Restaurant today and can I just say it was fantastic value for money and I chose the executive menu and it did not disappoint I started off with Haggis Pakora and it’s not a massive portion but it was lush ,then I opted for the lamb curry which was £1.00 extra but it was delicious ,I never left a grain of rice ,then I had Vanilla ice cream washed down with a pint of Soda water and lime ,A total bill of £12.50 brilliant value ,and I’d just like to add that the staff were so wellcoming professional and well manered ,I will deffo be back in this great establishment .

First time here and was not disappointed, the food was amazing and so was the service , going back next week already so can’t wait 🥰

The staff were very welcoming and explained everything on the menu. Very great service, excellent food, big portion but not too big! So good!
