The best friendly couple Pratap negi and his wife Kavita most amazing host , the food was served with so much warmth and affection that the taste of the food was doubled. No doubt the food taste was as what I wanted just perfect toy taste buds Often said the best food is the food which no only makes your taste buds tantalize but also makes you crave for more and this is what exactly my experience was Flavour aroma ambiance hospitality just marvelous Keep serving us the same taste again and again

The food came out in a very good time, piping hot, and cooked to perfection. My girlfriend had the butter chicken with garlic naan and I had the lamb bhoona with peshwari naan and a shared pilao rice. The butter chicken was amazing and personally the lamb bhoona was out of this world. Lovely Indian beers on tap. Fair to say the only comment I have is that they need to have rentable wheelbarrows to get home in, as I needed one after that dish 🤩

Table for 2 we had chicken pakora for starters I had to look for the chicken amongst the batter ,we had not finished our starter and they were placing our main course on the table everything was rushed ,there were 2 other customers in , we then ordered chicken korma with rice the rice was very bland and the korma was that salty that I could not eat it ,the guy never asked what was wrong with it when he came to take the plates away ,we had cup of tea .glass of kola nan bread all £2.95 .each would not go back or recommend .it was a voucher from itison that my grandaughter had paid for really disappointed that she had to pay for such a terrible meal .

Enjoyed an excellent dinner here tonight. Service was quick and attentive but not overwhelming. Food came quickly after we ordered. The chicken tikka masala was fantastic, as was the lamb biryani, and we could have devoured another garlic naan (and another, and another). Generous portions of chicken and lamb for a fair price. A compact but spacious layout with lovely decorations and photos. When in Glasgow again, will happily return 👍

We had been given a voucher for Christmas and enjoyed two delicious starters and mains from a set menu with rice and roti. We will revisit for their main menu! Highly recommended.

First vist to the Curry Cottage and we weren't disappointed. The food was amazing. We had the chicken pakora for starters and then the Chicken Jalfrezi and Lamb Bhoona with rice and plain nan, can highly recommend flavour and taste delicious. So if your coming to Glasgow and looking for a tasty traditional curry go to the Curry Cottage for a wonderful meal, service and attentive staff A+++++

Stumbled upon this place by chance and so glad we did. The food (Butter Chicken curry and Chicken Korma, Pilau rice and Peshwari Naan) was incredible. So tasty and fresh. Staff were lovely and very hospitable. Prices were great for a city centre location too. Will definitely be back!

£5 Itison deal, place was empty with one guy serving and the same guy cooking. Reheated or overcooked pakora. £8 Chicken curry with rice - chicken was to chewy, hardly any sauce and too much rice. 4 small bits of garlic nan £4.50. 4 cans of coke £11.50. Ended up costing us £25. Sorry, but below average in every way, we won't be visiting again. The wee curry shop around the corner is far superior and it was packed with diners.

I visited on for dinner with my mum, we had a voucher - but there were still plenty vegetarian options included, and the full menu has a wide variety too The mango lassi’s and Masala Chai were all home made and delish! Would recommend

Hidden Gem off an India restaurant. Staying at the double tree across the road, came for the pre theatre menu, £14.99, you can add items on for an extra pice. Food was lovely, hot and tasty. We will defiantly return 😊

We ended up at the restaurant in search of good chai and the experience was perfect. Food, music, and service .. everything was on point. As vegetarians we ordered samosa, chilli paneer, kadhai paneer, rotis and chai. The food was really good.. .. the taste is worth it! Thank you Pratap ji.. you took such good care of us.. so grateful!

Had a really nice early evening meal here. The food was lovely and the wine tasted like good quality. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly. Just round the corner from Travelodge, Hill Street, very convenient.

Great Indian food and very friendly hosts. Pickles and starters very flavoursome. Curries and Biriani were fab with very tender meat. The lamb okra could have being going with a bit more sauce (I'm sure this would have been provided if we asked).

A lovely little curry house hidden behind Sauchiehall street. We came for the set menu and really enjoyed all of it. Curries and starters were great and we'd definitely recommend the aubergine fritters and the roti which were outstanding! Someone else had the mixed grill and I'd readily come back for that or any of the unique and interesting looking dishes on the specials board. It was quiet but well worth a visit if you're in this part of the city looking for dinner.
