Curry Cottage Glasgow in Glasgow City

In Glasgow for the night and found Curry Cottage near to our hotel. Just what we needed. Food and service were excellent. Highly recommended. Recommend the haggis pakora starter!

First time here and loved it! The haggis pakora was a surprising hit! Highly recommend the chicken tikka achari also and the onion bhajis! Will definitely come back

I have been to Currys Cottage on many occasions and the food is first class. The prices are very reasonable. If anyone is watching their pennies it's also BYOB. The lady who serves the food works her apron off as does the one chef. Give it a try as you won't be disappointed 🙂

I am visiting Glasgow from the US. Curry Cottage had phenomenal food and accommodated our 16 person party with less than a days notice. Atmosphere is perfect whether for a small party or large gathering.

Got the potato and aubergine curry, was lightly spicy without being overwhelming. Very delicious.

Nice place just down from my hotel on Hill Street in Glasgow. Had the lunch special of curry and rice. Very tasty and generous portion.

We have decided to pop in before theatre based on reviews. Service was very slow waited 50 min for food but most important food was with no flavour. Definitely not curry. Very salty and no spices. Out of the meal Naan was alright. Very disappointed

Wonderful eating experience and yummy food

One the best garlic naans I've had.

Visited Curry Cottage and the Lamb Karahi was the immediate stand out. Tender and very well balanced. The Chilli Chicken and selections of Naann and dips were simply amazing. I've tried various places in Glasgow and Curry Cottage is the new favourite. The staff were very friendly and everything was priced very fairly. Favourite place of 2025 so far.

Delightful Indian restaurant. 30 seats. We are rookies at Indian cuisine but everything was delicious. I had lamb tikka masala and the wife had chicken curry. Pleasantly spicy. The garlic naan was delicious. Service was great but our inexperience with the dishes encountered a slight language barrier. Definitely someplace I would eat again. I spent more than I needed to so don’t let the respond to what I paid keep you from going. I wanted to try several things.

Very lovely, attentive staff! I got the paneer butter masala and it was lovely. The vegetarian options were varied. My friends loved their dishes and the garlic naan was so nice that my friend said that was the nicest they have had! We’ve come up from England to Glasgow and we wanted a curry tonight, this place has not disappointed.

Really enjoyed the "chips" (cannot remember what they are called) especially with the mango chutney. The lamb masala with mint was flavourful with a perfect level of spice.

A small and friendly restaurant. My vegetable pakora was fresh and full of veg. Garlic chicken was sumptuous and served with on of the nicest parottas I have tasted. Thoroughly recommended.

My first time here and found it after searching nearby restaurants from the Hilton Doubletree. The positive posts on Tripadvisor were right. This is a bit of a hidden gem. I had the special. Chana Chicken Karachi. This was clearly freshly made, rich with flavour and plentiful. I love a curry and this was superb. Washed down with a draught Kingfisher. Next time I’m in Glasgow I will be back. The restaurant is relatively small, but the lady that served me was attentive and happy to make reservations. As it was a Wednesday before 8 I can’t really comment on the atmosphere but my experience was a good one, and one I will repeat.

Great place. We were looking for an Indian restraunt ( and not a disguised indian one ) in glasgow city and found this place to be having some vegetarian options as well and went there. Cozy place, very well arranged, nice welcoming couple and the food was very good. Almost 80% authentic indian food. Mr Negi was very patient in service and all in all a must try restraunt in glasgow.
