Honest pros and cons review: Firstly I want to say it was an overall great experience with friendly staff and amazing food. Please don’t let the following criticism keep you from trying the food. Now for the drawbacks: the plates, glasses, and silverware were, to put it frankly, dirty. Not the they didn’t wash it dirty, but more the dishwasher they used missed a spot here and there. The waiter and manager were quick to get new dinner ware, however, the issue persisted as there was grease residue even on the replacements and food particles stuck on some of the replacements. I’m a frequent Waffle House goer so some grease won’t stop me from trying the food and let me tell you, it was awesome. We ordered mango lassis, mango chicken tikka, butter chicken, and chicken tiki masala along with some regular and garlic naan. The food was amazing, the mango chicken tikka especially. The staff was very friendly, including the manager who was constantly going to all the tables to ensure our dining experience was the best it could be. After speaking with him he explained they just opened back up today (9/25/2024 or 25/9/2024) after being closed for two weeks and needed until Friday (9/27/2024 or 27/9/2024) to have WiFi set back up. I am very inclined to say the cleanliness issue will be resolved soon.

The place has changed hands recently and yet closing down due to COVID. There are different staff who are lovely, and you can tell they are trying to build their customer base again. I really enjoy the friendly atmosphere and the fact that it is a great Indian restaurant in an area that needs it. The food is delicious, especially their Rogan Josh. So tasty! Would highly recommend and will be heading back there soon.

My Husband &I had an amazing meal here last night (Friday 7/6/24) we had previously looked at the reviews and these were so correct. We both had amazing starters & main courses, all so authentic, the service was so good asking our every needs & explaining everything we had ordered. I would highly recommend this restaurant and looking forward to booking our next meal.

I recently visited Dumpukht Lahori to satisfy my craving for authentic Lahori flavors, and the experience was fantastic. I tried their Vegetable Pakora, Chicken Pakora, and Fish Pakora. Each bite was a burst of flavor—the vegetable pakoras were crispy, the chicken pakoras juicy, and the fish pakoras perfectly spiced. While enjoying this delicious food, I remembered I needed to send money back home. Thankfully, with Remit Choice, I was able to complete the transaction effortlessly right from my phone. The convenience of handling something so important while indulging in such tasty snacks made my visit even better. Great food, great vibes, and an easy way to stay connected with loved ones. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, the food is surprisingly poor. It's the worst (sit-in) Indian meal I've had in Glasgow. Was really hoping for a nice meal because it's well rated for the most part. So yeah... The starter (bhajis) and mains (korma) were brought out together which wasn't helpful - I felt I was being rushed - but even then the onion bhajis were so oily and greasy I couldn't have finished them even if I was given time. So that wasn't ideal. And I was really surprised by how poor the ceylonese korma was - it was like cream had been mixed with curry powder and heated slightly. No flavours, no thickness, no freshness at all. Not good. Since they didn't have any herbal teas (mint teas, etc.) - no worries, it happens during busy periods, fair enough! - I asked for a lemon slice in hot water. I was still charged 2.95 for it, which wasn't cool. But the manager was very courteous and took the hot water and bhajis off the bill, to be fair to him. So hoping for another good Indian meal, but that didn't happen. Not great at all.

Korma was the worst I've ever tasted. Bizarre thick consistency of the sauce slightly spicy chicken pieces hard.in the end went in the bin. Rice was nice enough. Peshwari nan was raw could not eat, with dried coconut and fruit thrown across the box Staff pleasant enough working away in silence

Had a wonderful meal tonight. Table service was prompt and friendly. My starter ( mixed pakora) was superb. Main meal was a chicken Jipurai ......cooked to perfection. The final bill, not as heavy as my belly when I was finished. Great food, great atmosphere đź‘Ś definitely be back.
