The place has changed hands recently and yet closing down due to COVID. There are different staff who are lovely, and you can tell they are trying to build their customer base again. I really enjoy the friendly atmosphere and the fact that it is a great Indian restaurant in an area that needs it. The food is delicious, especially their Rogan Josh. So tasty! Would highly recommend and will be heading back there soon.

First impression is welcoming however this is let down by food that is lacking in flavour. Pilau rice was heated up in the microwave and receiving it 10 minutes after our mains were served. Unimpressed . We also witnessed a workman standing on the food prep area and reaching up into the ceiling to do repairs. Unhygienic to say the least. First time I've tried this restaurant and it will be last. We weren't the only ones in the restaurant that didn't enjoy our meal on that night. Would have been better buying a pot noodle and saving our money

Honest pros and cons review: Firstly I want to say it was an overall great experience with friendly staff and amazing food. Please don’t let the following criticism keep you from trying the food. Now for the drawbacks: the plates, glasses, and silverware were, to put it frankly, dirty. Not the they didn’t wash it dirty, but more the dishwasher they used missed a spot here and there. The waiter and manager were quick to get new dinner ware, however, the issue persisted as there was grease residue even on the replacements and food particles stuck on some of the replacements. I’m a frequent Waffle House goer so some grease won’t stop me from trying the food and let me tell you, it was awesome. We ordered mango lassis, mango chicken tikka, butter chicken, and chicken tiki masala along with some regular and garlic naan. The food was amazing, the mango chicken tikka especially. The staff was very friendly, including the manager who was constantly going to all the tables to ensure our dining experience was the best it could be. After speaking with him he explained they just opened back up today (9/25/2024 or 25/9/2024) after being closed for two weeks and needed until Friday (9/27/2024 or 27/9/2024) to have WiFi set back up. I am very inclined to say the cleanliness issue will be resolved soon.

We had the chicken tikka and chicken 65 starters, followed by the chicken tikka dosa and lamb punjabi The food and service was excellent, we just turned up and were lucky we picked a great time to come. We arrived at 6.45pm and by 8.30pm it was full mobbed. Great place and highly recommend!

I have never left a restaurant review before tonight. This was a last minute booking. Fairly average food and generally disappointing. The good reviews here are very surprising! As others have said the chicken was overcooked and dried out, both within the pakora and in the chicken tikka masala. The menu on the website says they serve naan. They don’t. All the menus in the restaurant have it crossed out. False advertising ? Anyone else ever been for a curry in the UK where they don’t serve naan? When we asked the waitress why she explained they didn’t have room for the correct equipment which I assume is a tandoor. So I asked how it was possible to cook the tikka part of the dish we had just eaten without a tandoor and she said it can be done on the pan ie like I do at home with a jar of curry sauce from Lidl. Except mine tastes better. All a bit of a pity as we were looking forward to this. Lots of “merchandising” in the entrance hall but it seems like a case of style over substance. The vegetable pakora and the coriander relish was good but all the other food was not great quality. So many better options in Glasgow and this place is letting the side down. Avoid

We've visited quite a few times now always using itison vouchers. Food is decent and service is generally really good. We always come away talking about the same member of staff. She never smiles, looks really unhappy about working there and makes you feel like it's your privilege they're allowing you to eat in there. I'm guessing she's the owners daughter or something because she clearly lacks hospitality skills. It doesn't put us off going, in fact we've turned her into a source of our amusement.

Loved the look of the restaurant and was impressed with the decor as different from other restaurants in the surrounding area. Has a small outdoor area and a mezzanine floor. First impressions were very good. However, hugely disappointed with the food. We were recommended to choose 3 dishes and realised when presented with the mains that the portions are very small. The chicken was overcooked and dry. A rice dish also very dry. So sadly won't go back.
