The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Extremely overpriced, non licensed restaurant. Food tasted ok. When I mentioned how expensive and small the mixed grill was the manager laughed and said deliveries are very expensive and I needed to take in the whole package. The whole package had me sliding around in the toilets who knows what was on the floor and taking my own drinks in with me. Why are deliveries so expensive do they not have chickens and lambs in Cornwall.

Disappointed tonight. Ordered king prawns hariali....small prawns, sauce totally different to usual harialis...usually green made with plenty of spinach, cream and garlic. This was a brown flavourless sauce. Chicken Jalfrezy also not great very bland. Garlic rice quite greasy.

My friend and I went for Dinner relatively late in the evening after work. We were hungry and thought to give Indian Express a try and it definitely did not disappoint. It was busy and I immediately understood why after trying the food. The perfect balance of Flavour, spice and consistencies. Not to mention the staff who were also so welcoming and friendly. Will 100% return and recommend to my friends and family.

Made a wrong order by mistake and the restaurant were happy to help resolve my issue. Great customer service

Ate here last night as with other reviews I was extremely disappointed. This place used to be good but last night staff didn't know what they were doing and the girls miserable not sure if they are new. Won't be back in a hurry

I have ordered from this takeaway several times over the past year or so and have never had a bad curry. Food has been good every time. If I have one negative thing to say will be that the Onion Bhajis are more often than not over cooked and quite oily in my opinion but still edible and tasty😃

Ordered a takeaway via uber eats and honestly its the worst food I have ever had. ohh well at least the bins been feed 🫣 Chicken Tikka under cooked and raw, with no flavour at all. (looked like plain chicken) Chicken Chat tasted like it was mixed using water and vinegar for flavour. Lamp chops burnt to a crisp and tougher than old toe nails. Popadoms are the only thing that could be eaten but even the pickle tray was flavourless and watery Poor very poor

Candlelight atmosphere. Service was ok. The menu is short but extensive. Every dish was well prepared, flavourful and tasty. Wine glasses should perhaps be updated and the spicy dishes pointed out on the menu.

Awful uncooked curry but rude, unhelpful owner. Avoid at all cost!!!

The chicken stir-fry was packed with flavor! The chicken was tender and juicy, and the vegetables were cooked just right, adding a nice crunch. The sauce had the perfect balance of savory and spicy, giving the dish a delicious kick. As for the egg fried rice, it was absolutely scrumptious! The rice was fluffy and had a nice hint of smokiness from being stir-fried. The eggs were perfectly scrambled and mixed in, adding a creamy texture to the rice. Overall, the medium spicy chicken stir-fry and egg fried rice combo was a delightful combination of flavors and textures. I would definitely recommend trying it if you're a fan of Asian cuisine! 9.2/10

Just back from yet another excellent meal. We always try to eat here when we’re in the area. We know that the food, atmosphere and staff will be unfailingly fantastic and tonight didn’t disappoint. We each had the set meal for one and thoroughly enjoyed everything we had. Great value at £24.95 each and more food than we could eat, all served by super attentive staff. Wish we could get here more often.

Ordered food to be delivered, It took them over a week since we ordered from them to deliver to an elderly relative, they said it would be delivered today on the 08/11/24, when we phoned the day before, the woman said she was 100% sure it would be delivered, only to find out that they never actually sent it, when we phoned again the guy on the phone was really rude about it when we asked for a refund he just hung up the phone on us, would never order from them again, they are absolute scammers, will also be taking this up with paypal to get our money back.
