Ordered takeaway last month on Eurovision Saturday night at 7.30 pm Knew Depa was undergoing building works over last 12 months as I walk past twice a day We had continued ordering takeaways while building works were ongoing and they were delivered from Depas 2nd takeaway restaurant a mile away. Eurovision night I could hear the phone diverting. It was answered and I placed my order. I was told it would be delivered in 45 minutes At 8.30 pm I rang again and was told it was on its way At 9.00 pm I rang and cancelled the order as it was now 90 minutes and no food was here - we had gone beyond hunger My partner needed to be up at 5.30 Sunday so went to bed Meal was delivered 10 minutes later - cold and unwanted by gent who said he was the owner - not someone I recognise or had ever seen before in Depa Just wanted to warn other users that Depa is now closed Don't know which restaurant is now filling their orders but service is defo not to same standard Can't comment on replacement restaurant food as we didn't eat any Also felt cheated that new restaurant didn't ID itself answering Depas diverted call If they were busy, then they should have said so I could then decide whether to place order and wait or go elsewhere, To say 45 mins and then take 100 mins is not fair to customers

Este siempre ha sido mi favorito, pero India a juzgar por mi última orden ellos tienen un nuevo jefe o bajo nueva dirección. De cualquier manera la comida en esta ocasión era pobre y en general parecía diferente. La carne era incomible y samosas de esta experiencia que sin duda no será pedir de nuevo Depa Indiana.

Comida deliciosa. Probamos 4 comidas diferentes y todos ellos eran excelentes. Mejores de la ciudad. Además, el gerente era muy amable y muy buen servicio. Volveré de nuevo cuando la próxima vez será en Croydon para CrystalPalace fútbol.

Food was good and delivered right on time. For a vegetarian like me, it was great to have such an unusual and varied choice. My only slight complaint is my aubergine dish NV was a bit greasy.

my hubby took me here when we first met this was our first date and since had takeaways this serves the best curries around we love their food here turns up on time and comes nice n hot n you get such lovely service from them to we would deffo like to go back there 👍😊

Probably one of the best tandoori chicken I had.... very good, hot quality food.

I have not had a problem the last times I have ordered. But this time our Bombay potatoes, they were off and had a rancid smell..

Really lovely food, highlights - bhajis crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, perfect mushroom rice, Shatkora and Madras curries fresh and rich, lovely spicing. All food great. Delivery fast and friendly, perfect takeaway :-)

It was good food overall. Madras curry was extra spicy as i asked. One issue- ordered chicken tikka starrter and well, only got a small portion pf chicken. For £3 something i should have got a bit more. Delivery time was ok as well. Took then 15mins more than noted.

The chicken was watery & the food just needed a bit more spice as was bland. Delivery was 4 mins over stated time

The Chicken Phall was lovely and spicy and the Lamb Korai was very tasty. Lamb samosa was great. Really enjoyed and will be ordering again soon.

Ordered food late at night... Delivered in good time, however paid for 2 cokes and did not receive these!!! Tried to call the restaurant but answer machine said closed... Also emailed Just Eat to state problem and no one has got back to me!! Not very happy that I've lost money and didn't receive exactly what I ordered!!

I'm sorry to say that, it will be the first and last meal... Had ordered a Rojan gosh that tasted like a lamb with tomato sauce, no spice and very blunt (unusual for an Indian Cuisine) the peshwari naan doesn't take of any coconut or almond, tasted more like a plain bread. I can't beleuve I wasted my money for such a bad meal. So disappointed that night as means hubby are craving for some Indian meal.. I also asked for a mint sauce and chutney but nothing on the bag.... Please people, don't waste your money!!

Food was very good and the Service too. Friendly, nice Staff. But inside the the Restaurant it was freezy and not for long sitting und talking with friends. Just 4-stars for the food and staff.

The food took over an hour, obviously it was no longer hot anymore. I had to call to find out what happened when the gentleman on the line said he didn't receive my order from Just eat. Then he said he found it and isn't sure who took the order. Then he started asking me which road I'm In, and where exactly am I. I mean come on you have gps and google maps too what is the point of me giving my address if im going to have to explain which roads I live nearby to. He explained that there was a delay- ok fair enough but a courtesy call to advise me would be nice. The food was good- cold but good, however the service just put me off!

Ordered at 6:20pm and received the delivery at 8:10pm. Food was slightly warm and foil trays only half full. Very disappointed. No refund given as it was paid for via just eat.

Delivery driver didn't have my flat number written down so was banging around all the flats shouting, and causing a disturbance to the block. When I finally got his attention and he came to my flat he tried to explain their had been an accident and that's why I had to wait.... I was so annoyed by this point I took my food and shut the door. I then had to microwave all the food as it was stone cold....... Not even a little warm... Bhuna had no sauce, okra and paneer was nice but all cold. Will never order from here again....

I tried another Indian takeaway a few months ago in the area and it was terrible. I don't think I shall deviate again; Depi Indiana is always great. The food is fresh and always delivered by a friendly driver and always on time. I have learnt my lesson!

I hadn't visited Depa for about 6 months. Popped in for a takeaway. The food was absolutely delicious - they made my chicken dansak extra spicy as requested. The naan breads were soft and aromatic. The onion bhaji's were crispy on the outside and moist inside - just as they should be. This little restaurant puts some of the better known establishments in Croydon to shame. Well done again.

Food was lovely, definitely will order again! One of the best Indians I have been to. Only thing I would say is that if someone orders 2 chips, they should be in seperate bags rather than one as it was for me and a friend who left after delivery

Me and me Nan have been coming here for years took my boyfriend there last night to grab an Indian.... Only collection but could not have been given a better customer service anywhere else so friendly and welcoming taking care of us why we waited for the food which was spot on.... Amazing food amazing service.... This restaurant has been around for ever and they don't advertise.... There not interested in quantity... They are interested in quality customers coming back and being satisfied... Thank you so much depa Indiana :) we will be back
