The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Sadly the food did not hit the mark. The tandoori meats were of poor quality and clearly not cooked in the marinade. The paneer was spongy and tasteless. Pori bread was probably the worst I’ve ever had. Hard tasteless and brittle. The only thing I did enjoy was the Chana masala which was still subpar. Won’t order again.

What a refreshing change to our usual curry place - I could taste the different flavours - this was utterly delicious. Definitely going back 🙂❤️

Fabulous food, service and price, a big part of Oswestrys' history and well worth the visit. The Vindaloo is splendid if your like your spice!

A fabulous Indian restaurant! We are big curry fans and make a lot of fresh curries ourselves so are always interested to see how 'individual' the dishes are. Warwick Spice prepare fresh and delicious curries - not the usual batch sauce at various strengths! I was particularly impressed with the Naga Chilli Salmon Tikka, all the flavour and heat of the naga but it didn't over whelm the salmon which was still moist and delicious. My husband had the Garlic Chicken Tikka and said it was one of the best he had had (he spends a lot of time in India so is a well seasoned curry eater). The atmosphere was welcoming and cheery - the decor bright and fun - the staff make it a thoroughly enjoyable experience, they were friendly, attentive and helpful. All in all 10 out of 10 for a great curry and a super night out!

Came as part of a large party of about 40 for my partners work event- the service was really good and the staff were very friendly and organised. The starters were ok- lacking flavour slightly but were hot and fresh. My parkoras were a bit oily but they were edible. The second course (I had vindaloo) was lovely, piping hot and fresh sauce that had a good amount of heat. Some restaurant vindaloos can be a lacking in spice but this was perfect. Good portion size and the mint sauce was lovely Would come back again

Conceited arrogance. Simply they sent us the wrong order, it was way too hot and went in the bin. Phones them up 3 time and left messages, no reply. When we got through they asked why did it take so long to complain, seriously! Took no responsibility, said they never get things wrong, blamed Uber Eats, who is the supplier here? Reason I never went back to their over rated restaurant was because I had a huge, dead, bluebottle in my chutney one time. No apologies then either.

Amazing food. Fish with sag rice was delicious and biriyani lovely. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. We will be visiting again.

Amazing. So recommend. Great vibe. Super cocktails and unique amazing food with flair fun and depth. Funky place. Cool bar menu with top suggestions. A feast in all senses. Now a favourite. Go!
