We really love the food from here and it honestly tastes so good and I couldn’t fault it on that, but delivery has been late the past 3 times that my family has ordered from here. This time delivery was scheduled for 7.20, then got moved by them to 7.35 and didn’t actually arrive until 8pm. By this point it was luke warm. Disappointed.

I have always loved this place so my inlaws thought it would be nice to get me a gift voucher from them for my birthday, i presented the waitress with it before we ordered but when the bill came it hadn't been taken off and we then had to argue our case to get the bill amended and were made to leave contact details in case the manager disputed it! Our evening was completely spoilt and we will not be returning

We visited in the 50% off all food promotion in Oct (Sun to Thurs) and later noticed that the dine in menu on the website was £3 less per curry and rice/naans were £1 less. I was tempted to go in on a Fri or Sat as suspected the menu would be as the website. Lorraine's recent review answered my thoughts. To think we supported this business through covid with many home deliveries and the eat out to help out. As other recent reviews I have experienced an extra drink on the bill. Such a shame as enjoy it here with good food. Never again as plenty of other options in the area. The only food this guy should be serving is prison food. AVOID but if you do go thoroughly check the bill.

I have to write a review as I visited twice in October with family approx a week apart. The first visit was an evening that did not include the 50% off the food bill (Fridays/Saturdays), the second visit did. Now comes the deceit. There was a different menu on the tables for the evenings they had the 50% discount. This had everything on the menu with inflated prices, each curry dish was approx £3 more expensive, along with increases on everything else on the menu too. We had our receipt with us from our previous meal & the Manager was asked about these increases, as this meant this was not 50% off our meal compared to the prices we paid the week before. We told him this was false advertising & they were out of order. There was no real answer from him, he just said 'It is our Anniversary'!! and said there was only about £1 on each curry until we showed him our receipt from the previous week, then there was no argument! The food was nice, but sorry we won't be going again, had we not been with other people we would have left & not eaten there. A friend also told me she had been with a friend & did not check her bill until the following day, that's when she realised she had been charged for drinks & poppadoms she had not had. Be careful what you pay for if you visit.

Staff are really helpful and friendly . Have had takeaway as well . Eat in and take away were both spot on. Really good food.

Came yesterday for my birthday party of 4 me and my partner had the railway lamb omg is was fantastic big chunks of lamb and plenty of it my son had the king prawn and he said it was the best king prawn curry he had with proper king prawns he had can't spell what curry other person had lol the garlic naan was beautiful highly recommend the server was lovely and friendly

Visited Yak & Yeti in Beeston tonight. It was really busy as they have a 5 year anniversary 50%off promotion. Despite this, service was excellent, very friendly and food was very good. I had a prawn puri starter - loved it and then a king prawn madras with side dishes. I was full up but had to keep eating!! A lovely meal. With thanks to Ram who made everything run smoothly. We will be back!!

It was a delightful experience. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between modern and cozy, with soft lighting and comfortable seating that encourages you to linger. The menu offers a diverse selection, and everything we tried was outstanding. The service was attentive without being intrusive. The Staff was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. Drinks were promptly refilled, and the timing between courses was just right. Yak and Yeti combines great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent service. It’s an ideal spot for a special occasion or a casual dinner. I’ll definitely be returning to explore more of the menu!

My friend and i attended to use the 50% off in October offer and it was well worth it! Staff were lovely- couldn't fault them. Both curries we ordered were a good portion size and tasty. My ‘mocktail’ fruit punch did just taste like tropical juice from a carton though which was £5 so a bit steep for what it was! This was the only thing i could fault though. Thanks!

Anniversary special 50 % off is an absolute scam. They have increased the dine in prices and giving 50 % off. Basically we are paying full price. Food is fine but small portions. Starters are not worth the money. Compared to Lagan or Gurkha, they are just average.

What an absolute disgrace. Food cold and bland. Toilet, table cloth, floor and waitress uniform filthy. If you want a dining experience to remember for positive feedback try Ghurka Express or Lagans. You won’t be disappointed

ordered at 6 pm ish with a delivery time of 6.20 to 6.40. After texting and phoning to chase up the food finally arrived, luke warm, about 7.40. had just started using yak and yeti after my last regular Indian went down hill. have now stopped using them.

We yak and yeti , it never disappoints. We often go there with a big party from.our Evening Class (wine appreciation) and find the food excellent, and the staff accommodating and friendly, the service timelyvand efficient. We also find its a good place to meet and catch up with friends as its never too loud to hear what each person is saying. I love too that there are spotless napkins, clean loos and comfortable seats.

It is a really nice restaurant with delicious Nepalese cuisine (reasonably priced), a fun and authentic atmosphere, and helpful/friendly staff. We will definitely return!

First time ordering after hearing great reviews, unfortunately will be our last. Food took over 2 hours to be delivered to us, and when it arrived it was missing half our order. What we did recieve, was cold. Chips were stale. If ordering from here, I'd recommend dining in or collecting as clearly deliveries are not their forte.

Ordinary UK Indian style curries at inflated prices. Fraudulent charging. Brought us more poppadums than we asked for. Noteworthy that they charge per poppdum and per tray of dips! That ruse alone raised them an extra tenner... Also loaded our bill with an extra drink that we did not have. Incredibly the waiter argued and pretended we had that drink. In the end we had to count out the 4 pint glasses on the table to show him that we did not have 5! So if you want overpriced, bland food and wish to be ripped off in the process, the Yak & Yeti is ready and waiting for you.

Amazing Momo’s, delicious chicken and lamb mains as well as the garlic man, highly recommend! Lovely, personable & friendly owner, we’ll be back!

As a birthday treat for my wife we ordered a takeaway for four of us and what a treat it was. The app is really easy to order, even tells when your food is ready to be collected / about to be delivered, depending on your delivery option. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals; tasty, with just the right balance of spices and ingredients. We are all sitting here, pleasantly stuffed. Excellent! Thank you for helping to make my wife’s birthday special. I have promised to take her for a meal in the restaurant next time :-)

Came for a family meal yesterday there was around 10 of us so a big table and the service was brilliant, quick bringing out the food and drinks too and the food was amazing! My only negative is there was no baby change facilities in the toilet, it looked like there was once a drop down table but nothing in it is place, it was quite difficult to change my toddler so would be good if this could be improved but the food and service made up for it

Server was lovely and they went out of their way to help us with everything we needed - had quite a few vegan options too However - we asked for the food to takeaway leftovers at the end and he put all meals (including the vegan one) in one tray which not great. Especially as we did not all live together

Okay this is an awkward one because the food is fine here , but the practices of the staff - particularly around billing are not good . We went with family last night as we do enjoy the food , both for take away and in the restaurant . We arrived , it was busy with large groups which isn’t a problem and we were shown to a table . The waiter then came across with poppadoms (not ordered but fine ) and we picked out a couple of bottles of the Chenin Blanc at £21 a bottle . The wine arrived and was poured and I didn’t really pay much attention initially but when I checked - rather than the South African Longtail which we had ordered - they were palming us off with £7 a bottle Sainsbury’s wine - yet still charging the same price ! We raised this with the waiter (the maitre d with the green blazer and bow tie ) who was very evasive, took no responsibility and refused to make any concession for what was essentially - a fraud ! . Wanting to be fair I offered to pay £15 a bottle which I felt was a fair mark up for a cheap wine they were passing off as something else . The bill arrived and they still tried to charge us £65 for three bottles of the wine they didn’t have rather than the two cheap bottles we had been provided with . We again raised this - along with the poppadom tray which we hadn’t ordered but we’re still billed around £10 for . The waiter then told us he ‘remembered us ‘ as problem customers and eventually (having caught them out and called them out (politely ) on their practice - we paid the bill for the food we had consumed and £30 for the two ‘cheap’ bottles they had tried to deceive us with . We came previously in June having booked a table and arrived at the time for our table only to find they were full having given away our table and couldn’t accommodate us . An hour later when we were finally sitted - they refused to make any concession for the poor service in reservation . The food in this restaurant is good but I will never use them again - the practices of selling items as they did and with the wine is fundamentally dishonest and I have lost all trust in the place .

Vistied yak & yeti on Tuesday and our server was very polite and friendly he helped us a lot from the menu selection to everything. The atmosphere was amazing enjoyed our time here. And again thanks to Rohit who gave us an excellent services and made our vist more unique.

We were dining at 6.30 and there was one other couple and a solo diner also in the restaurant. There is parking nearby at two supermarkets. We had pappadoms and dips to begin - the paps tasted like they were yesterdays (slightly soft) and the dips were standard(Onion/Raita and a thin watery Mango Chutney). My partner had the Mixed Grill to start, which was good; I had the crushed Samosa which was bland. Main course - my partner had Chicken Methi which was excellent - delicious sauce and plentiful chicken, whilst I had the worst Chicken Tikka Biryani I've ever been served - basically and I'm not exaggerating a literal rectangular building brick of Rice and chicken - no garnish, no vegetables in the rice, no omelette on top, no boiled egg, nothing. The Rice was overcooked, wet and stodgy and the Chicken Tikka was minimal and had little Tikka taste. The accompanying Naan and Paratha were perfectly adequate. Prices are top dollar and in my opinion the quality of the food and ambience of the restaurant do not justify those prices. The bill came to £61 and with the 25% off Offer, we paid £47 which in this day and age of ridiculous restaurant meal prices still feels too much - we had a similar meal in a Birmingham last week for £40-ish at twice the quality.

Wow! This place is the bomb, absolutely delicious.

We have ordered in Yak & Yeti for the first time and they surprised us with the awesome taste of the food. We have not tasted such vegetarian spicy momos anywhere in the UK till date. Ram was so interactive and helpful with the food suggestions and we would definitely visit here again.

Ordered a take out through just eat. Ordered for 8pm, waiting over an hour, rang the restaurant direct to complain, person was rude and talked over us and made excuses, said they'd rang us, when we said we'd had our phones next to us and nobody and had rang they hung up on us. After 5 phone calls asking where our food was and being told it's "a minute away" we were still waiting at 9.30pm. On calling the 5th time we asked for our money back, only to be told they wouldn't make any money and just kept blaming the delivery driver. Still no food, won't be ordering from them again. Disgusting service.
