I think cost of living is creeping in food not up to the normal standard

Friendly staff ,excellent food as always.

A very enjoyable evening. Great atmosphere, a very busy venue. Lots of food choices and all that I tried were very tasty. Staff were busy, so a few minutes to wait for the buffet to be refilled but overall a lovely night out

Jawaria was very helpful and the atmosphere was great. Kids loved the food especially the ice cream. The food was lovely and very tasty.

Nice venue, good decor and warm/friendly environment. Food generally good for an indian buffet, lamb korai and the chicken and spinach curry dishes lovely. Naan and bhajis a bit soggy tho with being enclosed in with the steam. Fab service 👍

First time visiting today for family nikkah...food was amazing...fresh,hot and tasty...from starters,main and.desserts...

We’ve been to Saghir lots of times and the food never disappoints. We’re not usually ones for buffets but the food is always cooked fresh (sometimes there’s a small wait for it to be cooked- which proves it hasn’t been sitting around for long). The service is always exceptional and the staff always very polite. They now have a soup and stir fry station too.

Called in this evening for a meal with guys at the restaurant. We haven’t been in since they have changed the restaurant about. Wow outstanding, noodle bar , waffles , different sweets amazing. As always the food was excellent, service amazing and we loved the new menu options.

Lovely buffet in this restaurant. The food was excellent with nice desserts, the atmosphere and decor lovely and service friendly and attentive, everything very clean, crisp white tablecloths. They don't serve alcohol so if this matters bring your own wine.

Exceptional service. Came and delivered an extra item even though it was my misunderstanding. Atmosphere inside is also great and staff are very helpful and polite, same with the delivery drivers. 10/10 food too & good value!

Lovely 5star. Having tried hundreds of buffets around the globe this was the best for flavour ever. Lovely atmosphere. Great staff. Small problem with chicken pink in middle which was immediately removed ( the whole batch). And many apologies from staff. Bring own alcohol. Really nice. Thanks guys!.

The staff here are always really friendly and the food is always tasty. It's great to be able to have a sample of everything on the menu. This is always our go to place when we want a curry night and we always leave with full stomachs and a smile.

Absolutely worth every penny. Beautiful food. You certainly would not survive in Longton if you weren’t a great business .

Takeaway Balti butter chicken was swimming in grease/oil and tasted awful. Never seen a butter chicken curry like it! Vindaloo was ok. Plain Nan was chewy and a bit dry. Keema Nan was very lacking in taste and filling. Chips were ok. Rice ok. Expensive for the poor quality of food. I wouldn't order again and wouldn't recommend.

Nice setting/atmosphere very nice. Staff very quick to take your plate away (literally a minute after finishing). Not quite sure if all of us were a fan of this or not, as it feels a bit awkward going up to grab a new plate each time. We also found it hard to find the prices of certain things, but we probably should have asked the staff! As for food, the tikka masala had a strong coconut taste. Chips etc. very tasty. Ice cream very good, although you would be lucky to get more than 1-2 scoops depending if adult/child. Could be a little bit more generous. Overall, I'd be inclined to go back for special occasions, but not sure if I'd make this a regular place to go and eat. Staff were very friendly and polite. 👍 Price wise it worked out around not much more than £16.50 per adult/£8 per child, although sadly the kids didn't eat that much. Then drinks on top. Great value for money for those who aren't afraid to go back up and grab another plate/ask for more desert, etc.

Tula masala was dry chips were unbeatable just tasted of oil , not been here for a while and will not be ordering again

This had been my favourite local curry house for years but I'm going to start trying some different places. The prices have shot up and the last couple of times I've been really disappointed with the food. The quality is nowhere near as good as it was and I had a tikka massalla (which was one of my favourites) last night and tasted like salt and vinegar.

Ordered for the first time this evening, given the reviews thought it would be a safe place to order from. I was very wrong food come rice was hard and dry ( rang through to complain they did send more out and was offered 25% of next order )... lamb rogan josh left a funny taste in your mouth lamb wasn't nice at all. Keep naan was dry and tasteless, cheese nan was lacking cheese overall bad experience

We have been here a few occasions. This last visit was for an 18th birthday. We also had 2 vegans with us, 1 who was also celiac. The staff were excellent. They made separate dishes to avoid cross contamination. The place was packed and they were really busy but they checked on us several times to make sure everything was okay. They even brought a bit of cake out with a candle on and played a happy birthday tune for the birthday girl. The food was great as always. I've never been anywhere where the staff have been so friendly and helpful. I couldn't say a bad word against them.

Visited tonight for a get together with friends. I must say the food and service was outstanding. The restaurant is immaculately clean with a friendly, warm athmosphere. Nothing was too much for the staff and they went out of their way to make your evening as enjoyable as possible. We will certainly be returning, Thank you.

Unfortunately I wasn’t expecting delivery so soon and didn’t hear the door as I was busy at the back. You need to update delivery times when driver leaves.

The food here is plentyful but bland towards a normal sit down restaurant, I was also dissapointed that they now wont allow you to take soft drinks/mixers you have to buy it from them ( so drivers, non drinkers and children have to pay) but drinkers can take as much alcohol as they want!! At £17 ahead its not that cheap anyway. Silly rule and wont be going again. Lost the custom of 7 customers.

Just tried a takeaway for first time from here, had garlic chicken bulti , it was fantastic nicely spiced, plenty of chicken lovely nan bread and rice , all delivered hot and on time ,this will be our regular from now on 5 star's+ .

We came here for my Nieces 18th birthday. The service, choice of food and food quality was fantastic. They let me come & dress the room, we stayed all night, they didn't rush us. Would highly recommend

Me and my wife love this place. Tonight 14/2/23 we thought we would have a quiet curry for valentines. When we arrived they had pulled out all the stops, candles and rose petals on the tables and even a string duo playing throughout the meal. As ever the food was spot on and the service fantastic. This place really is a hidden gem

Visited here Monday 06-Feb 2023, very limited buffet starters (3 meat, 2 Veg) all clearly reheated or yesterdays as taste proved so only took 1 bite of each. No biryani, or brown rice only plain boiled. Curry’s included in the buffet again reheated last week probably (everyone looked dry) Manager/waiter did ask if we wanted a fresh Curry & ordered a Lamb 1 which wasn’t great. Deserts or lack of was last weeks dry Gulab Jamans, alongside custard/cake (puke looking) & ice cream with again bone dry cakes. Overall cannot understand the excellent reviews, either local food is really bad or my experiences have all blown this place out of the water. Much better places then this establishment as it was very quiet, rather them be honest & tell us to order off menu than serving old tasteless food. Or recommending us to elsewhere, just to finish this terrible experience all of us had stomach pains & diarrhoea for 2/3 days after. Would never return & waste my money/time, have told all my friends/family this is 1 to 100% avoid.

Only been on a Sunday which is a buffet style, food is good and there lots to choose from, unless your name is zack and you only eat food made with clown tears, then not so much.

Ordered plain chicken as that is all my children wanted to eat. When I called the restaurant to say this item was missing from the delivery, I was told that option doesn’t exist & this was a Just Eat problem not theirs. That this was an option for extra chicken pieces in a curry. That the only option was for chicken & chips which cost more. I selected an option on the menu with no stipulations other than ‘chicken’. I don’t understand why they couldn’t just send some plain chicken pieces? Remove it from the menu or make it clearer what this is. This is not the 1st time we had problems with this restaurant, items missing & very late delivery are previous experiences. Will not be using them again after this.

Not a fan of the keema naan, the curry didn’t seem to have any spice and was plan. Usually good though so I’m a little surprised
