Such a nice person whoever served me , the food was served within 5 minutes. He gave both me and a friend (who didn’t even buy anything as I was the only one ordering) a free chicken and cheese pastie/wrap thing to try. Which was excellent as well! I ordered the chicken wrap which was PACKED out with chicken , some chips and salad. Great portion for a very good price.

Indian breakfast here this morning to die for. Freshly cooked wonderful food, great coffee and excellent service from the lovely owner and her niece. Highly recommend

The Paneer Butter Masala at Delhi Wala Indian Restaurant was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced, offering a comforting blend of flavors. Paired with the Garlic Coriander Naan, which was soft, fragrant, and slightly crisp at the edges, the meal was satisfying and authentic. A delicious and well-balanced vegetarian treat.

This is the third time I’ve visited their branch at The Merrion Way and will probably be my last. The first time was quite pleasant, the second time not so good and the third time was absolutely terrible. I was with two friends and we all agreed that the meals were terrible. Too dry, too bland and very, very salty. We complained and they took our meals away to be re-vamped. They just added water and a sprinkle of chilli which made no difference whatsoever. Customer service was also very poor. In future I’ll just stick to their branch at Burley. Never disappointed there and Shakeel looks after you.

Absolute garbage food. But then again I am not a vegan. If you are and this is what you eat, bless you. We went as a group so wasn't bothered about the food, I was there for the chats, we did order but it was horrible food. Very pricey too, you'd think that the price would be for the value

Quite a disappointing meal considering the rating and reviews... as mentioned, this is now called Indian Pakwaan. We opted for our usual bottle of prosecco, poppadoms/pickles and a main. Plus points are prompt and courteous attention, but some knowledge of the drinks variable would be beneficial. Also the prices seem quite reasonable. Poppadoms tasted burned and the pickles weren't nice, everything laced with caraway seed. My main was a chicken madras, it was OK, far from up there with the best but it wasn't bad... not much meat in it though. My wife's chicken tikka masala on the otherhand was awful. Oddly hotter than my madras, tasted quite acrid wasn't the red colour with hinted sweetness the dish is supposed to be. Not enjoyable at all.

Our new FAVOURITE Indian in Wakefield Home cooked food, fresh, tasty and definitely worth a visit. This is our third visit and we don’t usually book and have being lucky with getting a table, but as it’s starting to be on the radar of home cooked Indians I’d suggest booking first. I keep forgetting to take pictures of the food and when it lands we soon consume it haha but managed to get a picture tonight of the Dahl and the butter chicken. My favourite is lentil Dahl, my husbands is the butter chicken, both dishes are delicious. We love the bhaji, we prefer the smaller portion for just two of us, just right. Another favourite is pickle tray delicious raita and lime pickle. I would 100% give this place a BIG THUMBS UP!! We used to go to Leeds for our regular Indian nights but now we don’t need to, sorry cats pjamas Leeds.
