Delhiwala Food in Leeds

Enjoyed our meal here. Lovely food, great presentation, very clean. Service was great too. Well done! Will be visiting again.

What a great find! Very friendly service, great food with really good veggie / vegan options, great value. Only a small restaurant but great atmosphere and well run. Service was efficient and friendly. Felt like a much more personal experience than some of the larger restaurants / chains.

Young lady welcomed my friend and I on arrival. Very polite and friendly. The older lady who seemed to be in charge was just rude to her. Told her off behind the bar and then gave her orders and frowns and really made her look so unhappy. This is not a business i want to give my money too. Its a shame, i have been before and the owners are very nice people but this lady seemed like she was too good to be there. Price of vodka is ridiculous and not good quality - They are charging more then hotels in the city centre! Food also not consistant and a rushed experience.

Met up with a friend at Friends of Ham yesterday for a few beers and a catchup. We decided to have lunch and checked what was near by, Deliwala popped up and the reviews were great. We sauntered around the corner and there it was. The reviews are absolutely correct, excellent street food, reasonable prices for Ledds and a host and chef who couldn't do enough, highly recommended. We will be going back. Martyn

Visited for dinner on a busy Saturday evening, food was excellent with a good choice. Particularly enjoyed the chilli chicken and chilli paneer starters, mains good quality and vey tasty too. Tables a bit close together,good service, bill was £72 for 2 courses for 2 with 3 drinks and service added on. Didn’t like the bottled water on every table, we declined it and got tap water.

The food in this place is outstanding, and this shows in how packed it was on a Tuesday night at the beginning of December. Do book ahead if possible. I think the only reason four of us were able to be seated is because we arrived at about 6.30, we would not have got in later. The staff were incredibly accommodating even letting us order off menu. We had starters, mains and two drinks each, and the bill including tip was less than £150. Definitely the place to eat in Leeds if you are looking for a curry!

The staff were very accommodating and gave complimentary popadons and sauces. We ordered 4 mains which were lovely and to our spice level. The naans are well portioned and tasty too. We would definitely be visiting again soon.
