Get App Write a trip advisor review for Delhi wala food ... went there with my gf and had lunch Delhi Wala Food – A Flavorful Taste of Delhi in Every Bite! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My girlfriend and I visited Delhi Wala Food for lunch, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment we stepped in, the aroma of authentic North Indian spices had us excited. Food: We ordered the Butter Chicken, Dal Makhani, Laccha Paratha, and Paneer Tikka—each dish was bursting with rich, homely flavors. The Butter Chicken was creamy and perfectly spiced, while the Dal Makhani was slow-cooked to perfection. The Paneer Tikka was smoky and tender, and the Laccha Paratha was flaky and buttery. Truly felt like a meal straight from Delhi! Service: The staff was warm and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The food arrived quickly, despite the place being quite busy. Ambiance: The restaurant has a casual yet vibrant vibe, with subtle Delhi-themed decor that adds to the charm. It’s a great spot for a relaxed meal with friends, family, or a date (my girlfriend loved it!). Value for Money: The portions were generous, and the pricing was reasonable for the quality offered. We left completely satisfied! Final Verdict: If you're craving authentic Delhi-style food, this place is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back for more! 5/5 stars! 🌟 Tip: Don’t miss their gulab jamun for dessert—it’s the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal! Highly recommended! 👌

The Paneer Butter Masala at Delhi Wala Indian Restaurant was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced, offering a comforting blend of flavors. Paired with the Garlic Coriander Naan, which was soft, fragrant, and slightly crisp at the edges, the meal was satisfying and authentic. A delicious and well-balanced vegetarian treat.

As someone who recently moved to Leeds from India, I’ve been searching for that “just like home” taste — and DWF truly delivers! From the moment I stepped in, the aroma reminded me of Delhi’s vibrant street food lanes. I tried the dal makhani with garlic naan and chaat platter — absolutely delicious! The flavours were rich, fresh, and perfectly spiced. You can tell that the chef puts genuine care into each dish. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The interiors are modern yet cozy, and perfect whether you’re going solo or with friends. Highly recommend this place if you’re missing home or want to try real Indian street food with a modern twist. I’ll definitely be coming back — next time for their thali! — Rituraj 🇮🇳

Visited for dinner on a busy Saturday evening, food was excellent with a good choice. Particularly enjoyed the chilli chicken and chilli paneer starters, mains good quality and vey tasty too. Tables a bit close together, good service, bill was £72 for 2 courses for 2 with 3 drinks and service added on. Didn’t like the bottled water on every table, we declined it and got tap water.

The food in this place is outstanding, and this shows in how packed it was on a Tuesday night at the beginning of December. Do book ahead if possible. I think the only reason four of us were able to be seated is because we arrived at about 6.30, we would not have got in later. The staff were incredibly accommodating even letting us order off menu. We had starters, mains and two drinks each, and the bill including tip was less than £150. Definitely the place to eat in Leeds if you are looking for a curry!

The staff were very accommodating and gave complimentary popadons and sauces. We ordered 4 mains which were lovely and to our spice level. The naans are well portioned and tasty too. We would definitely be visiting again soon.

Used to be my favourite place for Indian food. After a couple of poor meals I gave them a last chance today. Nothing was fresh. Lamb was really overcooked starters were stale and chapattis were damp and chewy in a plastic bag.

The food is always delicious and flavorful every time I come. Plenty of choices to choose from so there's something for everyone (the panipuri is our favourite). Lovely at home feel atmosphere inside with very friendly and attentive staff.

This is the third time I’ve visited their branch at The Merrion Way and will probably be my last. The first time was quite pleasant, the second time not so good and the third time was absolutely terrible. I was with two friends and we all agreed that the meals were terrible. Too dry, too bland and very, very salty. We complained and they took our meals away to be re-vamped. They just added water and a sprinkle of chilli which made no difference whatsoever. Customer service was also very poor. In future I’ll just stick to their branch at Burley. Never disappointed there and Shakeel looks after you.
