Excellent food and service, with a special mention for Vijay, who provided outstanding hospitality and knowledge of the menu options.

Best Indian in Leeds, you can see why they've won curry awards. Definitely come down if you get the chance. Try kunban kalyian. Amazing

Had the best Punjabi Choley, Paneer Butter Masala with Garlic Butter Kulcha. The taste literally reminded me of India’s street food. Chicken momos were also good. We also tried mocktails (Paan Lemonade and Guava Lemonade); these were totally amazing. Ended our meal with refreshing paan. I definitely recommend their food. It will give you a proper Delhi vibe. Best wishes, Nikki

The staff were very accommodating and gave complimentary popadons and sauces. We ordered 4 mains which were lovely and to our spice level. The naans are well portioned and tasty too. We would definitely be visiting again soon.

Are here this week with a friend following work and we were blown away. I am in incredibly impressed with this place. It's without a doubt the best Indian food I've ever had and we came across it unintentionally. Don't know what the other reviews say, but it's amazing. We had bhajis & potato and pea stuffed samosa chatt with chickpeas, yoghurt, tamarind and mint sauce, Jalfrezi and a chicken Kadai (best dish ever) Kashmiri pulao rice. So fresh and tasty. Find this place and try it. You won't be disappointed.

Copy of email sent to the restaurant prior to leaving this review - not even an acknowledgement! I feel the need to write and provide my comments on the way I was welcomed this evening. I have in the past been a big advocate of Masala Hut and eaten there many times. I have in the past had take away food and enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately the experience received this evening was appalling. I called ahead and asked for a table for one at 7:30. The person on the other end didn’t seem impressed nor filled me with confidence it was even possible, he didn’t take a name and the call abruptly ended. If the one customer wasn’t wanted he should have said. When attending I was shown to an unmade table in the corner. No problem - but the table wasn’t set and instead the server got knives and forks and threw them On the table, didn’t place them and seemed to find my presence inconvenient. The table was filthy with remnants of food encrusted on it. Not welcoming at all. I would have quite happily spent time and money this evening but the thought turned my stomach to a degree that I had to leave. I felt as though my presence was a huge disappointment. Standards have dropped. And it pains me to say it will be a long time before I am back. I was a table of one and appreciate this lessens the income but the waiters need to work on their customer service. I very rarely leave Google reviews on anything but I feel really disgusted and contemplating doing so - I will however resist until tomorrow to ensure it’s balanced. I write this whilst having dinner in La Cantina where I was welcomed and treated as a customer should.

A little warmer in chili than avarage. Just order accordingly. Great. Lovely food. Good service. Best in Headingley. Recommended.

The unusually-named Rasoi Stories is located in what was once Chapeltown police station, on Harrogate Rd at Chapel Allerton. It has been beautifully refurbished, but still retains the original external character. The menu is different, interesting, and worth taking your time over. Prices are reasonable. The service is very pleasant, and we enjoyed our food. However, the restaurant was very cold, and the diners were sat shivering in their coats.
