Food was amazing as always, Lamb Rogan Josh was really great highly recommend, Laccha Paranthas were thin and crispy. Great place to have good Indian food

I usually don't write reviews but I was so disappointed with the food and service I received today. My partner and I went for lunch today. We sat down and kept waiting for what seemed like ages for someone to take our order. The service was poor and the food was below average. Chilli chicken was burnt and a small portion. Choley bhatura was cold and uncooked. My partner was so disappointed he actually left one bhathura. Restaurant was busy and staff was short. They didn't even bother to ask how the food was or maybe they knew that's why didn't bother asking for feedback. We paid the bill and left the restaurant utterly disappointed. My partner hadn't eaten properly so he had lunch when we got home. Money and time wasted! We'll never go again.

Great environment and food, thought we didn’t order enough but surprisingly filling!

We have just had the BEST Indian we've had .... actually since I was in Indian 30 years ago. The garlic naan was heaven. Service was outstanding. Can not fault anything. Thank you 😊

We stopped here for dinner with the kids, the food was amazing, and a little bit different to your average Indian restaurant. Would recommend the kerla fish curry and the jackfruit curry. It was good to be asked how much chilli to add to each dish as well, especially with the kids who only like mild to medium spice. I would definitely come back.

Such a nice restaurant! The food is amazing, especially for a vegetarian there are so many options to choose from and so delicious! Service was great, the staff are lovely and attentive. Recommending to anyone coming to Leeds and I can’t wait to return already!

We loved the authentic food and friendly staff here. The Chilli Paneer with honey chilli potatoes were so delicious! The thali was great too and really good value for money. Would recommend the lime cordial for a drink. Can’t wait to go back.

Wonderful food! I’ve had Kadai chicken here and must say that it was very well balanced, recommend it hightly with jeera rice and mango lassi! The staff are extremely nice and kind, really beautiful place overall.

This is straight up one of the worst Indian restaurants in the city. The food, service and the ambience was horrible. The food made us really sick, it's of bad quality. Below average food. The food had no actual flavor, it was just plain spicy with nothing else to it. They also took really long to get the food. Highly not recommended.

I had lunch here today and took the lunchtime Thali deal. Excellent food, for an excellent price. I’ll definitely go back here. The service was a little slow as the lady there was by herself and there were also Deliveroo drivers coming to collect orders.

Wow such an awesome experience it was, me and my friend visited them from Liverpool and I would say it was worth to visit. The food was so tasty,. When we were having golgape in that atmosphere literally made us feel like home (India) . If I would ever come to Leeds from Liverpool, will visit them surely . This is the second visit I’ve had to Delhi Wala in as many months and I love it here. The food is absolutely delicious, authentic and beautifully presented all at a reasonable price. The staff are warm, friendly and do their utmost to make it an enjoyable experience.

I thought that the service was exceptional, both the guys we dealt with were very generous and helpful even gave us complimentary paneer curry as he accidentally bought us veg thali which was very nice, and the food was just amazing, pure Indian taste, apart from this the quantity was so fulfilling I stuffed myself up but still wanted more 😁

Having walked past this restaurant on countless occasions - we ended up eating here on a recommendation and we were not disappointed. Such a wide range of choices on the menu and the food was so unique, flavoursome, and delicious plus they serve nice draught beer. Also the staff are really friendly and helpful too. We've been back again already and I know that we will be back again soon too!

The staff were kind enough to honour the lunchtime menu even though I found this excellent eatery 3 minutes before the menu switches over on a Saturday afternoon! The food was tasty and a special mention has to go out to the non veg special curry, in particular the black lentil Dahl that I could have eaten a whole plateful of that on its own it was so awesome! The staff were very kind and attentive too! The next time I'm in Leeds I'll certainly look forward to visiting here again! Thanks so much!

We ordered dahi bhala that was so dry there is no curd inside very less when we called they said u can put your own curd.. If the driver takes time then atleast full the container which you serving. We thrown the food in bin. we will never order again..

Wonderful welcome, fantastic food and delicious drinks! We thoroughly enjoyed a family meal here to celebrate a birthday, the street food starters were a highlight, as were the Delhi Ka Banta mocktails and cocktails. Appreciated the recommendations from staff and adjustments to spice levels for children. Great veggie / vegan options, including slice of vegan birthday cake - thank you!

Well this was a hidden gem... 7 of us visited at the end of a social catch up. My starter was a vegetable samosa and I can honestly say it was the best starter I've ever had. A serious taste sensation. My main was a nawabi murg korma (medium spice)... this in itself was brilliant to have a choice of mild/medium/hot level of spice. Again, this was a flavour sensation and left me wanting to revisit the next time I'm in Leeds. Make sure you give this a try...

Absolutely outstanding in all aspects. And I knew it was good when I realized I was the only non-South Asian customer on a reasonably busy Saturday lunch. For a tiny place with a basement kitchen these folks are batting way above expectations. The food, of course, is the star, but the atmosphere and service were also excellent. I had the lunch veg thali, which included a potato and aubergine curry, a paneer curry (with paneer that was obviously house made, yum), a smoky dark red lentil daal, and a starchy (pumpkin maybe) not-too-sweet dessert. Every dish was dinatinct from the others, perfectly balanced and spiced precisely medium as requested. It’s just steps from the Leeds railway station, but this ain’t station food. Highest recommendation.

This was an amazing Indian street food restaurant. The best meal I have had in Leeds! Great, quick service. Every dish we tried was amazing, and nothing we didn’t like. Recommend the vegetarian platter (starter), crispy chilli chicken, korma and tikka masala. They even gave us a free dessert!

Last week I went to (DELHIWALA FOOD ) and I had quite a pleasant experience. I ordered (dishes/cuisines) and it all tasted heavenly good. The food cost me about (70£) but it was really worth it. Food was good but the service was not upto the mark. The person who served us was keep on arguing with us for every mistakes she made. She really doesn’t know how to be polite or how to treat the customers. You cannot expect to retain the customers with this kinda service even if you provide a world class food.
