Wow what can i say about Taj Absolutely Banging first time trying was not disappointed The Best Indian we have ever had so tasty hot and arrived on time with the 25 percent off this made it even more special, We was so full full but couldn't put it down would have been a shame not to eat it all and those onion Bhaji was to die for definitely will be ordering again and recommending to others.

Booked Tapasya for 6, we were warmly welcomed by the waitress and the owner, the waitress who served us was excellent as she knew about the dishes ,flavours etc, the starters were excellent as were the mains , we had two chicken karhrai dishes, a chicken korma, alloo tikis x 2 ,samosas x 3 , chicken biryani , chicken chettinad , okra dopiaza ,and various rices and assorted naans, freshly cooked beautiful looking honest Indian food , not overpowered with chillis , we all shared our dishes as every dish was just lovely, believe me I know , I’m from India , it was like eating my mums Indian cooking! . We didn’t drink alcohol as we had drinks previously so the whole bill for seven came to £126 , which I thought was amazing value , we tipped 15% as the service from start to finish was excellent . Couldn’t even order any sweet as we were all stuffed !!!. This place is a gem !, don’t believe me ?, try it !, you will not be disappointed . Jay.

Excellent food and very friendly service. Nice range of cocktails. The fish amritsari for the starter was very good as was the chilli paneer. Their Chole Bhatura is easily the best we have had in UK. Try the butter chicken for mains, really nice

Unfortunately not somewhere we would go again. The salad was dry, indicating it was not fresh. We were disappointed with the King Prawn puri: it felt cold and appeared to have 2 prawns and a tomato for £6.10. We asked for a refund on the king prawns and paid the remainder of the bill. We left the establishment after trying the curries and went elsewhere for dinner.

Absolutely shocking service. If I could give 0 I would. Ordered food, rang after 2 hours to ask where it was to be told it had been given to someone else but they hadn’t redone ours… then offered to send it again and it still hadn’t arrived after another hour. Rung to find out the driver was only just leaving with it with no apology and that he was taking other orders first!!! In total waiting 3.5 hours for a takeaway due to constantly being told it was on its way or we would have gone elsewhere. Ordered from here loads of times and have massively let themselves down by having zero care that they’ve wasted our whole evening and left us hungry. Won’t be ordering again.

Food was late but well worth the extra wait as it was amazing definitely best curry we had for a long time.

I order from here every month (sometimes more) and have never had any problems, food is always exceptional, delivery is always on time and today they’ve even put some Thornton choccy’s in the bag!😊 Would 100% recommend to anybody, 10/10, best takeaway in Hull! Will forever order from here👌

we had been to wetherspoons and this restaurant was the closest for us,we arrived to find no sanitisers on the door and staff not wearing face coverings, the only good thing was the garlic naan bread which was excellent, and my wife sort of enjoyed her meal ,but i did not ,my tandoori mixed grill seemed to be lacking any moisture in the meat and was dry along with the shish kebab,seemed to be old product,,then they sat another couple right next to us not considering social distancing when there were plenty of seats available, the waiter was not wearing face masks either,,wont be returning in a hurry.

Just had the leaf extrafgander and tandoori chicken chilli khara must say the food was excellent will be using you again in the future credit to you all

Bollywood Taj is very friendly restaurant. Staff are very kind . Delicious food real taste of India, authentic food and the starter ,It’s very mouth ordering. I try chicken tikka, garlicChili chicken, Tandoori, chicken papri chat .

Might just be the best in Hull you know Top Notch

Lovely decorated and very clean, service was amazing, staff were friendly and welcoming. The smell of the food cooking when you arrive smelt amazing. The food arrived piping hot and was truly delicious, a little spicy, but that was my own fault for ordering a spicy dish 🫠 would 100% recommend and will definitely be going back.

Never a bad meal at ruby spice. Everything arrives piping hot and each bite is lush. I especially love the naan breads very fresh and soft
