Our go to for many years.. we are known as their generational customers because a few generations of our family have been ordering from them over the many years they have been around. Excellent food always, customer service is always on point and deliveries are fast compared to how busy they get. Love it!

This place WAS the best in hull, as a family we have used this place for over 30 years, never again. Shocking food, veg dish had meat in it. Onion bhaji was like rubber and stone cold, chips are clearly refried more than once. Greasy food is an understatement. We Will never ever order from here again.

Lovely food, amazing garlic nan! Only reason for not 5 stars is you need to order early as it gets very busy, sometimes a long wait and very occasionally overruns the time given when ordering. But we always go back which shows our high regard.

been ordering from moonlight since I first moved to Hull 9 years ago and never had a bad meal. we order every christmas eve, easter and it's the first meal I had when I came home from hospital after my daughter was born. Best food and the staff are so lovely

Disgraceful waited well over an hour for delivery, for the driver to not even knock on my door waited outside for me to go out? To then be greeted with missing food, and it’s was all cold bear in mind. Then I called to make them aware part of my order was missing to then be told I would have to waited a further 40 minutes for it to be delivered. Not good service this time nowhere near what it used to be!!!

Good evening. This is the first time I have tried Moonlight Tandoori's cuisine and I must say that the food was just exquisite and also looked very yummy/appetising. The staff members make you feel so welcome and are extremely friendly therefore I will most definitely be making a trip back to the takeaway (soon!). Very highly recommend the place as they have a large selection of food choices which is very nice and makes me want to try everything on the beautifully laid out menu!! The prices are great for the quality of food that is served compared to other takeways. Overall my experience was the best I have ever had with any takeaway so thank you for that Moonlight Tandoori - you haven't seen the last of me!

Highly recommend Moonlight as everything is top-notch! Delicious curries and dishes such as my personal favourite the Jalfiazi. I also recommend customers to order the garlic naan it's the most amazing thing on this planet. The workers there were very friendly and respectful offering to help with anything needed. I look forward to continue eating from Moonlight!

Been using Moonlight Tandoori for as long as I can remember and the quality of food has always remained high! Absolutely love the Tikka Naga, unbelievable taste and a great spice level, forever my go to curry. Garlic naan is still the best around by far!

The Best You'll Find! Everything ranging from the starters and sides to the sundries and mains are top-notch. My go-to is definitely the Tandoori Sizzler with a soft Garlic Nan but every other dish I've tried was just as flavourful and tasty. The service is quick and the cosy setting is always welcoming. Without a doubt, I would recommend Moonlight to everyone.

Had a takeaway from moonlight tandoori on new years night but unfortunately it was so disappointing, my main dish lamb pasanda had 4 bits of lamb in it , the rice was cold and the keema naan only had meat in one half , not worth the money really , very disappointing

Naga lamb is unreal. Definitely going back shame I don't live nearer. Keep up the good work 👌

Used Moonlight for many years, and I don't recall ever having a bad meal. The service is a little slow, but if that is the cost of a nice meal, so be it. On the plus side, there are comfortable chairs and couches, or I guess you could call ahead.

Absolutely excellent food, so tasty and generous portions, friendly staff. My only criticism is that it's always late, last Saturday I rang at 5.00 pm for delivery at 7.00pm. Food actually arrived 50 minutes late 7.50pm. Food was hot and very tasty as mentioned earlier but tbh i was ready to turn the driver away. Please at least call if you are running late. I will still order from here but please sort out the timing issues Many thanks Rob

so here goes!! i’ve used moonlight for 13+ years from when AZ and his father owned the takeaway… over the last 18months they has been several occasions when i have been disappointed with my order…. ie wrong order, forgetting part of order, missing drinks…: ect. The prices have increased and the portions have decreased. The quality of the food also is not as good as it use to be, I will no longer be recommending this takeaway to family or friends…

Great tasting food and service, although it wasn't ready when they said it would be.

Was told food would arrive within 1 hour 20 mins but it arrived 2 hours later which was annoying but I do normally drive for this Indian as the food is amazing. But food arrived cold and missing items rang moonlight and they brought the missing item plus extras as apology. Definitely best Indian food in hull but would recommend you pick up and not order for takeaway

Restaurant quality food from a takeaway, love the curry from moonlight tandoori.

Starting with the positives - food is halal, the poppadoms, the tamarind white sauce and the garlic naan was nice. The tandoori mixed started was nice, little tough meat though. Now the negatives - ordered butter chicken, which did not taste like authentic Indian butter chicken at all. It had a lot of coconut (not mentioned on their website description) and was very sweet. Also ordered lamb tikka balti mossala, the meat was tough, there was no coriander leaves in the dish as mentioned on the website and this also had some coconut in the dish which does not match the description on their website for the dish. Overall if you are a desi, I don't recommend as it most likely will not match your flavour palatte and what you are used to. I did call the restaurant and give this feedback to the chef who took it on board well and understood where I was coming from as an Indian myself.

Bit hit and miss since its been taken over. Mostly, really nicely cooked. Occasionally overuse of ghee which makes it too watery/oily.

Ordered at 7.15. Told it would be an hour. Rang after an hour and a half-the rather rude young lady said it’s on its way. No explanation, no apology- nothing. It is now 2hours and fifteen minutes and still no delivery. I live less than a mile away. Very disappointed as the food is usually nice. My guest is leaving at ten and will have to take their dinner with them ASSUMING it arrives!

We have been using this takeaway for a while now ,this is worse meal we have had , delivered after a one hour wait ,to have it warm ,with a cold nan bread ,most of mine went in the bin!! The only reason I ate some was that I was hungry wish I'd not bothered ,very bland meal considering it was suppose to be an Indian !!

That bad it all ended up in bin meat was solid like its been left on the side for a few days and heated back up it was that bad even the kids wouldn't touch it

Just had the most disgusting meal I've ever ordered online. We ordered lamb biriani and lamb pasanda both cold .the meat in the biriani was black burnt and inedible. My fiance put it in the bin and has to make a bacon sandwich. The meals cost £32 ,I rang takeaway up straight away after I served it up and the managers excuse was its fried the meat ???????? We have a takeaway every Saturday, this was the first and I advice people reading this to not make it a first but a very wide berth of this outlet .. Poor quality Poor value inedible and management that couldn't care less about the customer ! AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!

Ordered food at 6:40 and told about an hour for delivery… that was fine… 2 hours 10 minute later our food arrived cold… always used and highly recommended Moonlight Tadoori in the past but will not be doing so any more. Very disappointed with the service given

Just had a takeaway from here tonight, absolutely brilliant, so tasty and plenty of it, would definitely recommend.

Very very good. Fast delivery chicken pakora is beautiful, rice is nice and fresh as is the salad and sauces. Definitely a go to for a nice filling meal.

Really lovely food. Everything was still hot on delivery, and we got a phone call from the driver when he was outside. Between two of us we had tandoori mixed starter & bhajis. Meat Dhansak & Chicken Tikka Rosson, a peshwari & chilli naan. And rice's. It was all so delicious I usually can't eat everything and save for some the next day but it was so good I couldn't stop. So full but so worth it and not bad for £30

This place used to be good but dont know if its changed hands because on last two occasions we've had very dry tough chicken ,undercooked onion bhajis and a very bland biryani.i proberiy wont use again now
