Absolutely love this place, all you can eat on a week day is beautiful and all staff super friendly and very helpful

Everything was delicious especially the Pani Puri! Thanks very much for making the Tofu Jalfrezi without ghee too, it was great.

The place was literally empty but we were asked if we had a reservation. Also the resturant doesn't let you make small orders. Greedy business owner.

Terrible service with a tinge of racism. We visited this restaurant recently at around 6.30 PM. We had not booked this place as this was not on our plans. When visited they asked if we had a booking, we said no. They said there is no space without booking. We were about to leave and asked us to sit down and within 1 min they had a space. We were shown a couple table and menu came right away. The space literally had 20% of table filled! I did not had the appetite for anything for personal reasons so my wife just ordered 2 of chats/ starters so we can quickly wrap up and go. I told the waiter that I don't want anything and looks like he dint like it. He was insistent on me ordering something. He says something in the lines of "you can't just hog space without paying". Note, my wife had ordered 2 items and we were there literally for 15 min. A second guy came in and said "we don't usually allow just starters in our restaurant, be mindful of that next time". In terms of spends/ time spent, we were one of the highest. I see people sit at Resturaunt for hours ordering a drink and a main course. I don't think they would do this to any white couple, this is the first time I felt racism after almost 3 years in UK. By the time we left, there was just one more table which got filled. Such show offs ! To owners, staff is not helping your restaurant, please ask them not to judge customers based on their order volume, race and how they dress. While coming back, I said I hope we did not waste your precious time, the waiter said " that's ok"!

Always great food from Banarasi

Biryani rice was very very flat, soggy, almost like a pudding, and it was not briyani, it was chicken rice, and the quantity was not filling for the price. Overall it looked like the restaurant is running so well now they don’t care about customers and quality. Anyways it was food and I am glad. Keema naan was real good. But never ordering biryani again. Thank you

The food here is great! Eat in the restaurant, or you can order it to be delivered. Sometimes ordering a delivery from restaurants can be hit-and-miss, well not at Banarasi. The customer service is good, relaxed, nothing special, but still decent. The best Indian food I have ever had in Hull so far!

It was OK. it wasn't band, but wasn't particularly good either. Think I'll stick with Bengal Pride in future.

Fuimos a las 21. 45 y estaba sentado, pero el dueño vino a tomar la orden de bebida, nos dejó por unos minutos volver y tomó la orden de comida! Que estaba bien en ese momento, luego salen con un poco de orden y luego ser preguntado por 3 miembros del personal diferentes si queremos entrantes y principal al mismo tiempo! ¡Ordenado a empezar, conseguimos uno y la coca principal se equivocó cuando le dijeron que la cocina estaba cerrada! ¡Salieron a sacar al chef de su coche! ¡He estado un par de veces que nunca volveré a ir a este lugar para que el pesebre se ría cuando dices que el pedido de comida estaba mal! También que me digan que cerraron a las 22. 00 que si hubiéramos sabido que habríamos ido a un lugar diferente! Para que el personal camine con abrigos puestos. ¡El mejor consejo no vayas a este lugar!

Love the all-you-can-eat menu. 4, 3, 2, usually don't get past the 3! The food is lovely. I think there are about 48 things on the menu. I've Been 4 times! Always happy and full.

Casi 10 amigos fuimos allí. Preguntado 50 libras por adelantado fue considerable. Pedimos charla de samosa ya que no hay charla con samosa. servido pequeño trozo de cóctel de samosa con un poco de salsa picante y cobrado 7. 50 libras. un pedido más era paneer tikka. media parrilla 3 paneer se sirvió con diminuto y ni siquiera sumergido chutney verde y cobró más de 5 libras absolutamente no vale la pena .. a pesar de Curry era promedio en sabor. El último chef de biryani vegetal nunca ha perdido la oportunidad de decepcionarnos. Fue Dal khichdi en lugar de Biryani .. ¿hablan en serio?

What a find, 9 of us went in on Wednesday night and every one of us enjoyed the night. The service was brilliant, the food second to non. Plus good portions, no more Anlaby Rd for us.

Arrived late which in all honesty isn’t too much of a problem but the food was stone cold. Called the restaurant and was told they don’t know what’s happened and that we had to go to the restaurant to have is rectified. Shame as we love it here.

Me and my partner had a date night. We booked this restaurant last minute as we wanted an Indian. It did not disappoint and we will definitely be returning. Service was brilliant and food was great. We particularly liked the 2 for £10 cocktails. Nice to have a meal with reasonably priced drinks which were lovely. Thanks so much for everything. See you again soon

The cocktails were phenomenal. Butter chicken and korma were a bit hot for us here, and had a different taste to ones we get elsewhere. Still really good though. Garlic Naans were gorgeous! Proper garlic

We got the vada pav, pav bhaji and the dynamite chicken for starters (pictured) - would highly recommend, the buns were so soft. For mains we got a vegetable dish, vegetable rice and garlic naan, (all pictured) and a chicken dish - they were all delicious and would highly recommend!

Food was late but well worth the extra wait as it was amazing definitely best curry we had for a long time.

Mi pareja y yo visitamos con otra pareja, Todos optamos por el menú Buffet , que es un todo lo que se puede comer. Pides platos de un menú , empiezas pidiendo 4 platos cada uno. Luego 3. Luego 2 pero puede pedir más si lo desea. Todos son platos pequeños pero muy sabrosos. Todos disfrutamos de la comida y compañía. El servicio era muy bueno y tuvimos una risa con el camarero. Mi pareja y yo hemos visitado numerosas veces y nunca nos han decepcionado. 100 recomendar

Hull está desprovisto de restaurantes indios de calidad y visito este lugar una vez al año con la esperanza de que sea en la liga principal. Por desgracia, la misma decepción, pollo seco en el curry y pegado junto arroz pilau seco. Le mencioné a la señora que servía que el arroz tenía grumos secos y me preguntó si quería que se informara a la cocina. No Quiero tener una comida india por encima de la media por favor! Sin quejas. Odio quejarme. ¡Estás en la parte superior de mi calle! ¡Arréglalo!

Consistently the best quality and most interesting Indian in the area

Entré en el restaurante y había un olor horrible a aguas residuales crudas, más tarde descubrí que era el olor de los baños. Siempre paga en efectivo en el bar, nunca pagues con tarjeta. Al día siguiente miré en mi cuenta bancaria y me habían cobrado dos veces por mis tragos. nunca tener sus tragos en una cuenta tampoco. Otro miembro de mi familia también fue acusado por las bebidas de otra persona.

There was 8 pieces of meat in the lamb curry - and the poppadoms which cost £6 looked like it was three poppadoms but hard to tell due to them being completely crushed . For the price I don’t think we will bother ordering again

Amazing Food. Both the lamb and chicken were absolutely first class. The sauces and rice are nice. Faultless twice for us and we are big Indian food fans.

Food was alright. We came with a group of friends. I ordered pineapple juice but I got a highly sweetened drink which tasted like sugar water. When I asked about it, the waitress got very agitated and defensive. She was condescending throughout our time at the restaurant. It was an uncomfortable experience. EDIT: It is standard practice to serve the same quality of drinks on one table if it is from the same item category. At that time when I told you the drink was sweet, you kept saying it’s just a different carton. You didn’t make it seem like you were keen to change it. Anyway, the way you replied to this review is how you were towards our table last night.

In my honest opinion the best part of my order was the chips,they were seasoned and very nice,the sheek kebabs didn’t look cooked and tasted dreadfull,we ordered the chicken korma and the butter chicken,chicken was cooked well but it just had a very dull metal taste and I don’t know why that was, naan breads were really nice! Unfortunately the full meal went straight through all off us, my partner was up most the night being sick. I can’t attribute this to the meal but I suspect it was so. The delivery time was ridiculous 2hrs but in all honesty I believe they use a third party delivery service so this may be the reason,also and it came cold but this can also be the delivery company’s issue. Went to Banarasi for the first time as my partner highly recommended it. We both had the all you can eat menu. We were served the first lot of food which was 4 plates and then the 3 plates in the first 50 minutes. However the dining experience went downhill due to waiting 45 minutes for our order to be taken for the 2 plates which followed. We waited over an hour for the next plates which tainted the visit as we didn’t feel very looked after - our finished empty small plates were on the table for all that time as no staff member checked on us to take our order. The restaurant itself is lovely and well maintained with gorgeous food presented to a high standard. Felt invisible the last hour of being there and wanted to leave as it was not the evening we had in mind, the restaurant was half full and we didn’t get the opportunity to ask a member of staff to order as they were dashing off between other tables before we could say something hence why we didn’t feel looked after.

Quality: mostly pretty tasty but one of the curries was very clearly cream of tomato soup with some coriander in it which was a bit disappointing. Collection: said 20 minutes pre-order. Once accepted it said 45 minutes. Actually over an hour and included a half hour wait inside the restaurant.

Really good concept if you want to try lots of different things on the menu. Service was a little slow initially but the Manager acknowledged this and made up for it with great hosting. Will return!

The food was excellent and fortunately I am not actually vegetarian but a chicken curry was sent instead of the vegetable curry I ordered.

Great hot rapid food and service, shame no drinks options, accompany sauces very small

Ordered for delivery which arrived ok, no spillages or anything. Spent around £50 on the meal. The good:- Peshwari naan was nice. It was quite simple in that it was filled with dessicated coconut and something sweet, guessing sugar. There was no sultanas like you get in some. I liked it. Some might expect more in it. Prawn Puri was very nice. Ordered a few different curries which had big chunks of chicken in them and a fair few pieces too. They were what we'd expect. The bad: Some of the portion sizes were dismal. One starter costing almost £7 had four small king prawns that barely covered the bottom of the small container they came in. The tiny amount of salad that came with the starters was all the same and consisted of thinly sliced red onion mainly. Sauces that were sent was an absolute tiny amount. Onion bhajis were average. Food has 3 stars for poor value in the main, uninspiring salads and basic recipes. Service has 3 stars due to not feeling a valued customer really, no personality came though so not much to mark it on. No extra poppadoms that most places give out. Atmosphere is 3 stars. Can't judge too much on it as had takeaway so going by the deflated feeling when looking at the portion size, I can only imagine being in a restaurant and served up the same. Verdict: Would I use this place again? It's doubtful. It was ok but it felt in the main, poor value for money and nothing out of the ordinary. There are some interesting dishes on the menu that are different to the average Indian, which Hull definitely needs, but the image of the pathetic starter with the 4 prawns will stay with me for a long time putting me off.

I took my son out Saturday night there first time.. .. Absolutely enjoyed the food , atmosphere and the staff.. the after taste of the food is glorious. Can still taste it and it's A Definitely Be going again. And love the Angel wings as you walk in. Heaven Awaits for sure.

Chicken in the tikka and Saga was quite dry as were the chips. Starters were good. Fast delivery and food was hot. Not bad but not great either.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Banarasi, the food was gorgeous and there were plenty of vegetarian options on the menu for us. The menu clearly labeled the vegetarian options so made ordering simple. We visited on a Friday night and the service was fast and the food was great value for money. Would recommend to others :)

Awful customer service and food wouldn’t recommend at all food quality has gone down since they changed their chef and that guy Rabi your manager should’ve left you in charge not even for a minute no customer service at all 👎🏻 Also if someone orders Diet Coke you should inform the customer that you dont have any instead of giving them a bottle of Coca-Cola saying its sugar free they are not same! No wonder the restaurant was empty
